HAMILTON is the story of America then, told by America now. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, HAMILTON has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre--a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education.
With book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, HAMILTON is based on Ron Chernow's acclaimed biography. It has won Tony®, Grammy®, and Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and an unprecedented special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.
Fantastic!!! Everyone did such a great job! Sounded just like the movie!!
The show and cast were amazing, an experience that should not be missed! It was our first time seeing Hamilton and now I understand why everyone raves.
I enjoyed the show very much. Was able to purchas tickets close to the stage this time and could hear almost every word. No more nose bleed seats please.
We had an amazing experience with the whole family for the Hamilton show! My daughter and I listen to the Hamilton soundtrack every day when I take her to school. She absolutely loves the theater and Hamilton!
WOW! This show was out of this world amazing. The actors and actresses did an absolutely phenomenal job honoring the original production while giving it more of their own personalities and interpretations of the events. They added more animated humor which I enjoyed very much. The actress who played Eliza was a star!! I’d see it again and again!
Kudos to Lin Manuel Miranda. What an amazing theatrical show. The music and choreography was great. Recommend to everyone to see this gem!!!
I watched the Broadway version recorded for television, but nothing is as amazing and engaging as a live performance. Every actor brought their full talents to the musical. It was so great to see so many young people learning about American history presented by a multi-diverse and ethnic ensemble. Cudos and Brava to all of those involved, from stage hands, set decorators, actors, ...and oh not to forget the small orchestra that provided amazing background to the talented voices.
The choreography in this production is so spot on that it is a joy to watch! The parts were played to perfection and it was a beautiful performance.
Incredible cast! Wish program provided scene/act synopses to help ppl of varying ages and historical expertise follow along with the story. Also a running “subtitle” screen as with opera would be good to help audience keep up with fast-paced music. Was there an ASL performance?
After seeing Hamilton with my sister, I returned with my granddaughter six days later and loved it once again. Most memorable was again G. Washington’s powerful solo that took my breath away. All actors were impressive whatever role they played including all those in the ensemble cast. King George was a different actor the second time but added his own twist to the character and was just as impressive. Would I see it live again? Most definitely!
