    Hamilton is simply breathtaking

by Squad171 on 10/24/16The PrivateBank Theatre - Chicago

Simply the most dynamic, moving, emotional, and well written, performed, and choreographed show I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The show is based on the life of Alexander Hamilton, "the ten dollar founding father," and his story of how he influenced the founding of the United States. If you get the chance to see this show, do so. You will not regret it.

by PinkyGree on 10/24/16The PrivateBank Theatre - Chicago

A totally unbelievable amount of talent fills the stage every minute. This story can be told over and over again, but no one tells it like this. What imagination to create such a genius of a play that sparks enthusiasm by the entire audience. A must see for sure!!

    Hamilton - WOW!

by mmmicki on 10/24/16The PrivateBank Theatre - Chicago

I have to admit we were attending this musical because my 12 year old daughter is over the moon infatuated with it (yes, she has memorized every word to every song)! My boyfriend and I weren't sure what to expect, and we were moved beyond words with the incredible acting/singing as well as the story that was told. I especially want to thank each of the actors who took the time to sign my daughter's ticket and paused for a photo with her before the show began. I can't even begin to put into words what that 10 - 15 seconds of your time meant to her. I appreciate having such positive role models for her to look up to!

The Best Show I've Ever Seen!

by kagail on 10/23/16Private Bank Theater - Chicago

When there is a lot of hype, you wonder - can something live up to it? This show - the music, lyrics, choreography, set, (revolving stage) lighting, - all of it - exceeded my expectations. I learned so much, as history became "real". I expanded my horizons - never been a fan of rap or hip hop. There was not a "bad" song in the entire show. You couldn't take your eyes off the stage - the entire performance was mesmerizing! So many layers and complexities - a true work of genius. I don't know how anyone could not enjoy it. So glad to have been lucky enough to get tickets and see this amazing performance!

HAMILTON is every bit as good as advertised. There isn't a weak link in the entire cast. Their performances were so perfect, I started wondering if I were listening to a tape. WOW.

Great show, not so great seats...

by kbrs on 10/21/16The PrivateBank Theatre - Chicago

"Hamilton" was everything it has been cracked up to be. Lots of words per minute in the tunes. A fresh approach to the founding of our country. The king was hilarious. Only issue was our seats. We had no view of the second level of the stage, but the tickets were marked as limited view, so we were warned...
