One of the Best Shows

Even though I have seen it twice in Chicago I will go to see it again on Broadway in New York!! The performances of all characters were absolutely superp! What really caught my eye, since I had an opportunity to go see the play for a Wednesday matinee, and at an evening performance on a Friday night, were the two gentlemen that played Hamilton. Both were extremely convincing and drew me in to every moment of the play, along with all of the other fabulous actors. What was really amazing is how the understudy, Nick Sanchez seamlessly transformed from his role as Hamilton one day, to his roles as several characters during the Friday night performance. What a delight to see! It was also my pleasure, to meet Deon'Te Goodman while I was eating afterwards on Wednesday, and to tell him how appreciative I was of his performance, and all of the characters and how they all touched me and brought me to laughter and tears, because of their performances.

Nederlander Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5It's been a long road—from grumblings of a new musical based on the life of Alexander Hamilton to a worldwide phenomena, I was never able to see Hamilton live until recently in Chicago. We sat left of orchestra in the first few rows and I can safely say the cast & crew performed their hearts out for the final Chicago show. The musical itself was inspiring with plenty of throwbacks to music from the 90s and early 2000s evident in the phrasing and lyrics. The Philip Tour delivered!
