Gretchen Wilson made headlines as a country star when her debut single “Redneck Woman” reached the top of the country singles chart. She was the first country artist to do that in years, and her single was the quickest to reach No. 1 in decades. Wilson’s country twang, sassy attitude and deep, soulful vocals draw fans to her concerts and tours, and the honesty in songs like “Redneck Woman” are her ticket to superstardom. Wilson’s most recent release, on her own record label (Redneck), is Christmas in My Heart – the last of three released in 2013, which include Right on Time and Under the Covers as the first two.
Wilson had a rough upbringing in rural Illinois, but she credits her girlhood with instilling in her the tough and strong attitude that makes her so popular with fans. At the age of 15, Wilson was discovered singing in bars and joined her first band, Sam-A-Lama. While “Redneck Woman” shot to the top of the charts and also earned her a 2004 Grammy Award, Wilson has released other successful tunes, like 2004’s “Here for the Party,” which reached the No. 3 spot on the Country Singles chart and the No. 39 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, and 2005’s “Homewrecker,” which reached No. 2 on the Country Singles chart and No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100. Wilson has come into her own as the head of her own label, and with the three new records she put out in 2013, she has proven that she remains a strong, powerful presence in the country music industry.

from her opening band Cadillac Black to her show it was one awesome event
She played new music which was GREAT & OLD which is always which is still GREAT!
Gretchen sounded and looked great. She and her band entertained us with old w d new hits. Just wished she was on stage longer!
The Gretchen Wilson concert was AWESOME!!! She sure knows how to get the crowd going. What a singer!!! I was also very impressed with the opening band The Cadillac Black....going to get their CD. Looking forward to going back to the Indian Ranch.
I have seen Gretchen Wilson 2 times and both times she has put on a great show. She is a great performer and her band is very good. The Indian Ranch is a great place to watch her every seat is a good seat in the house and close to the stage.
She has an amazing voice and it was an awesome concert, until the end, she ignored all her fans. I have been to many concerts and they usually take their time to sign a few things, but not her she just walked right on thru like she was better than everyone else
Third time seeing her. She always aims to please, playing a nice vareity of fine tracks from her own catalog peppered with arena-rock classics that are obvious favorites/influences of hers. My problem is that her sets never go longer than 90 minutes, which is not unusual for a lot of artists. Would love to see her go two hours. Indian Ranch (Webster, MA), for those who've never been, is a unique venue that sets a perfect, outdoor scene for live music.
Gretchen Wilson delivered an excellent blend of past hits, new songs, and covers at the Indian Ranch Concert. Her voice was in fine form and she fed off of a very enthusiastic crowd. Lots of energy thoughout the show.. I would have given 5 stars but it was a tad short in length.. Opening act was a rock band Cadillac Black. Nothing special but entertaining. Highly recommend 2012's Gretchen Wilson show.
Was a great concert, they are a very talented band
There were 4 in our group and all of us left between 10 and 20 minutes of the start of the concert. The people in front of us stood up, blocking our vew of the stage and the big screen. Gretchen Wilson was inconsiderate to the majority of the audience in urging fans to stand in their place. There were people in wheel chairs that also had there view blocked. The music was so loud that the bass actually hurt your chest and the words were hard to understand. I have been to many concerts and this one was awful. I would never recommend her to any of our friends. Security and the ticket offices said they had many complaints.
The concert was great! She was late getting on stage as the concert was to start at 7:00 she did not come out till 7:15 but I had a great time! It seemed way to short though. She sang some new songs she has coming out they were great.
Gretchen is a lot of fun entertainment. We laughed and danced a lot! Hardly ever sat down! I only wish it was longer than 1 1/2 hours and there was a table with t-shirts or CDs to buy.
Gretchen Wilson was great!! We were able to get up to the stage and touch her hand!! She didn't play for as long as we would've liked. It was only an hour and fifteen minutes. It wasn't the best concert I have ever been to but I liked the intimate feel at the casino event center.
I was surprised how late her set was. She started at 10 and the concert was over by 11:30. The doors opened at 6. I will not do will call again. I had to stand in the same line as those buying tickets. Screamin Willie's had limited seating and limited food selection. I was pleased by Gretchen's performance and her announcement that she will be touring with ZZ Top soon. I will prefer seeing her in a more comfortable atmosphere and for a longer performance! Still like her and I enjoyed her rock songs, too!
This was GREAT entertainment and I'd do it again in a heart beat and recommend it to anyone
While this was the first time for us Gretchen live and the first time to Screaming Willies I must say the venue was very nice, the beer was cold all thru the night most places can't say this. My problem was Gretchen her self it seems she has taken the Dixie Chicks route, there was nothing country about this show, she didn't even have a fiddle player. This was clearly a tuneup show for her summer tour with rocker ZZ top and 3 doors down. this show left such a bad taste in my mouth that I would NEVER GO TO A GRETCHEN WILLSON SHOW AGAIN. THIS WAS A FULLON ROCK SHOW.. Sorry for the negative review, but I was not the only one who was disappointed..
Sound quality good, stage a little small, crowd was a little pushy
very good concert!!! was a rocking and a rolling....
Appreciate this opportunity to review what I call one of the poorest shows I have paid for. This was the second time a show at the IP was unacceptable. The band was too loud, could not understand any of the words to the songs due to both the loud band and Gretchen's mike set too loud. The bass and drums were so loud, we were almost vibrated our of our seats which were right below the speakers. The Star Spangled Banner performace was a disgrace. I purchased 4 tickets and we all left midway through the show, behind numerous other people. I doubt I will purchase another ticket for an IP show.
Best show i seen all year. Gretchen really put alot heart into this show.
