Gretchen Wilson made headlines as a country star when her debut single “Redneck Woman” reached the top of the country singles chart. She was the first country artist to do that in years, and her single was the quickest to reach No. 1 in decades. Wilson’s country twang, sassy attitude and deep, soulful vocals draw fans to her concerts and tours, and the honesty in songs like “Redneck Woman” are her ticket to superstardom. Wilson’s most recent release, on her own record label (Redneck), is Christmas in My Heart – the last of three released in 2013, which include Right on Time and Under the Covers as the first two.
Wilson had a rough upbringing in rural Illinois, but she credits her girlhood with instilling in her the tough and strong attitude that makes her so popular with fans. At the age of 15, Wilson was discovered singing in bars and joined her first band, Sam-A-Lama. While “Redneck Woman” shot to the top of the charts and also earned her a 2004 Grammy Award, Wilson has released other successful tunes, like 2004’s “Here for the Party,” which reached the No. 3 spot on the Country Singles chart and the No. 39 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, and 2005’s “Homewrecker,” which reached No. 2 on the Country Singles chart and No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100. Wilson has come into her own as the head of her own label, and with the three new records she put out in 2013, she has proven that she remains a strong, powerful presence in the country music industry.

Great, great performer would go see her again, but the sound quality was very poor, difficult to understand the songs. I've seen probably over 200 concerts in my life and she is one of the best performers I've seen.
Venue was a little small for the sound systems. It was very loud. Gretchen Wilson put on an excellent show.

This woman can sing, sing, and sing. Non stop powerful songs keeping you on your feet. Ms. Wilson can control the whole stage with very little effort. She gets her audiance involved with almost every song. The band and her are tight and seem to have a lot of fun. Gretchen Wilson is a must see in concert. She will rock and roll you until you love her. I met her after the show and she is very kind and wonderful. She loves her fans and her fans love her. Can't wait until I see her again.
Gretchen Wilson the Red Neck Woman is the person I came to see and I got a lot of that. Unfortunately (and she has every right to do this) she is really in to rock n roll which I have outgrown at 61. So the long instrumentals and rock n roll music was not to my liking. Also I would have enjoyed it more if the temperature was cooler. It was WAY TOO HOT! I wish Gretchen nothing but the best but am not sure I will attend another concert. Too bad. We have so much in common. My mom had me when she was 16. My daughter's birthday is November 9th. Seats were comfortable but I did not get to sit in them very much because the people in front of me were standing up and I could not see unless I stood also. I also was a little bummed when G. asked who had a birthday July 5th and I raised my hand like a dummy when all she wanted to do was call out a couple of names who she knew.
I liked the show a lot,had great seats,liked the set list.But the show was very very short! They played for an hour then did a 2 song encore, I thought they should have played longer.
The seats were great and she put on an awesome show. There is not a bad seat at the Tropicana showroom.

Gretchen Wilson sounded and looked great! She sang her well known older songs and some new ones too. She also sang a new song with her brother which was different. She was very personable, talking with the crowd about her new recording studio and songs coming out. The venue and size of the crowd was just right - not too big. Seats were good.
show was amazing. Great location at a great venue for a terrific cause. Gretchen played well to the crowd, sang a variety of songs , including her hits. Band did a great jog on the cover songs they played. Fans were crazy and throughtly enjoyed themselves.
I thought our seats would be not so great but we were still pretty close to the stage. Gretchen was awesome. She sounds just as amazing live as she sounds on the radio. Vernon Downs did an outstanding job keeping the grounds safe and everything was perfect!
Gretchen Wilson and her amazing band put on a great concert. She sang her hits including "Red Neck Woman" to an eager and appreciative crowd. She sang some of her new songs off of her new albums which are headed for the Gold! It was a perfect night for some great entertainment. Thank you for coming to Syracuse, New York.
Gretchen was beautiful and sang her but off. I would have liked a couple more of her 1st songs. But her new ones were awesome also.
Anyone who thinks Gretchen is just country needs to check out her new album. She is an all around musician that has an amazing energy and sound. She does a lot of rock songs that are terrific. While her roots may be country, she can do it all. Her band rocks! And she is charismatic and reaches the crowd on all levels. If you didn't check her out, you missed a great concert. Only one drawback: too much base. At times it drowned out her voice. If she's going to be near you, you need to see her! She will not disappoint!

Gretchen started right on time .performed for an hour and twenty minutes. Got the crowd into it and kept them into it for the entire show! I'd definitely go to see her again.
I was very impressed with the quality of her performance and the rapid receipt of our tickets by mail. Considering she did that show for charity she certainly did give it her all and we loved every second of it. She interacted with the audience and she seemed to be having a great time as well.
I cant say anuff about this concert. perfect everthing . Gretchen wilson is amazing . She knows how to put on a show . I Event grounds were perfect . great food decent price .Also we bought tee shirts for 20.00 witch is a amazing price and come to find out its Gretchen wilsons brother who sells them at her shows . I love the price of the tickets we got a steal at 10.00 a ticket . I have heard of people paying 100.00 a ticket for larry the cable guy at the state fair .. 10.00 for a show from somone who is great is a steal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
