About

Nine-piece multi-cultural band, GOGOL BORDELLO return to America to bring venues like Aztec Theatre (San Antonio) to capacity as they travel coast to coast. These shows will give audiences a first chance to hear new tracks from their seventh studio album Seekers and Finders, which Mojo Magazine calls an “air-punching, vodka-swilling anthem, custom-built for circle pits worldwide."

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 9am this Friday, December 8.

My Live Nation members can secure tickets first during the exclusive pre-sale beginning 1pm Wednesday, December 6 until 5pm Thursday, December 7.

For complete tour and ticketing details, visit: livenation.com.au.

Formed in 1999 by frontman Eugene Hutz, Gogol Bordello took their style of Eastern European-influenced gypsy punk and doused it deep into the underground rock of New York City. In keeping with his vision of creating an international groove, he recruited musicians of all ages, nationalities and cultures to join the ever-evolving line-up.

The group’s supercharged music is based on a gypsy two-step rhythm and is augmented by styles picked up along the way including metal, rap, flamenco, roots reggae, Italian spaghetti, western twang and dub. Their music and legendary concert performances have earned the band a global following and critical praise.

Don’t miss this aural party of instruments including violins, accordions, trumpet, marimba amongst the standard rock basics of guitars, drum and bass. A live musical experience like no other, Gogol Bordell will break boundaries this March.

"... the ever-evolving collective has defied the boundaries of continents and genres in their quest for spiritual illumination through gypsy punk." - Consequence of Sound

  • Was awesome

by starburn on 7/14/09House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Gogol Bordello put on one of the most high energy shows I have ever seen. The girls in the band are super dramatic and awesome with their giant drums and cymbals. It was also one of the loudest shows I've ever been to. I was really glad I had my earplugs.

  • A damn good time.

Without a doubt, one of the most memorable shows I have ever gone to.

  • Gogol Bordello gives you an amazing show

My props to these guys. Been to many shows in my life and it's rarely so blatant that the act really wants to knock your socks off. My mind flashes back to Pogues shows in the early 1990s but with 10x the energy. They sounded great from my perch up on the third floor too. The House of Blues really sucks though. Hard to see the show as we had no option to go on the floor. Watched most of it through people's armpits, catching half a face, an arm strumming a guitar, Eugene's shoes.

  • Gogol Bordello is amazing!!!

Eugene and the cast of Gogol Bordello put on an amazing show!

  • Just go to Gogol!

by larsonator on 7/14/09Cabooze - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

It was a great, high energy show as always. The crowd was pretty annoying---trying to mosh and crowd surf, but after moving back away from the front the crowd was more low key. The venue did not blow my hair back either. But....more importantly.... Gogol Bordello is always an amazing show. I saw them back in 2006 and 2007 at Bonnaroo, and from now on, I can't miss them if they are even remotely near me. The messages of their songs are something we should take to heart when dealing with others and not only accepting, but embracing, our differences.

  • Gogol Bordello are amazing!!

by MISHTO on 7/13/09Cabooze - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I think Gogol Bordello is a band that everyone should see once in their lifetime! I have seen them three times and every member of the group always gave 100% This particular show also had a great opening band by the name Man Man which I would see play again in a heartbeat. If you love great music (the sound of The Clash and The Pogues getting into a fight with some traditional Gypsy musicians) and you love to dance, this band is highly recommended.

  • Amazing Show!!!

by Anid on 7/13/09The Fox Theater - Pomona - PomonaRating: 5 out of 5

Gogol Bordello is an unforgettable live act! I have been to quite a few shows and Gogol Bordello is hands-down the most upbeat, high energy, non-stop awesome performance I have ever seen. I will never miss a live show by these guys if they play within 300 miles of my home. This is not to be missed!

Ive never seen such energy and effort put into a show creatively and actually have it still look authentic and spontanious!!!Gogol puts on show that is as entertaining as they are ecclectic! I twirl my moustache just thinking about it!

  • Gogol Bordello is Fantastic

by McDougal on 7/13/09Beaumont Club - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

I had always heard about their shows, and thought it had to be to good to be true. However, once I was there I was blown away by their performance. They are almost better live then on the albums.

  • Gogol Bordello is a must see for any music fan.

    by jackdee22 on 7/13/09The Fox Theater - Pomona - PomonaRating: 5 out of 5

Wow!!! Gogol is so different every band out there. They are multi-cultural, very energetic, fun and crazy, in a positive way. You can't help but smile while you dance. Being Hispanic myself, it's cool to hear the singer sing in spanish. It's just very very entertaining. It's an experience.

  • Gogol Bordello In a League of Their Own

    by Iggy2003 on 7/13/09The Fox Theater - Pomona - PomonaRating: 4 out of 5

Gogol Bordello is simply one of the most dynamic live bands arround. They have so much energy and their music is so infectious. Admittedly this less show was not quite as amazing as the last time I saw them at the Grove earlier this year, it was still top notch. I left the show drenged in sweat and very satisfied. I will definitely go see them next time they are in town

  • Gogol Bordello was badass!!!

    by Amiam15 on 7/13/09Beaumont Club - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

The show was full of energy, nonstop dancing and entertaining. I can't wait tell Gogol Bordello comes back to KCMO. And their opener Man Man had just as much energy as Gogol did, loved them just as much. First time I have seen either band perform, Flawless!!!!!

  • Gogol rocked my face.

by Britnyonfire on 7/13/09Cabooze - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

The Cabooze is a great outdoor venue, and it was the perfect weather. This was the second time I saw Gogol Bordello and there was just as much energy this time as when I saw them 3 years ago. I definitely recommend seeing them if you have the chance.

  • Gypsy Punks bring the Underdog World Strike

by Errr on 7/13/09Cabooze - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The opening act, Man Man, was too odd for my taste, so we went to the bar, until Gogol Bordello came onstage. The show was awesome and full of energy. Lots of crowd favorites! Encore could have been better.

  • Gogol Bordello was Super Premium

by Khalin on 7/13/09Cabooze - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Gogol Bordello gave a wonderful performance that was filled with immense amounts of energy. The music was delightful and the atmosphere intoxicating. Whether you were having a drink in the back or moving with the masses in the front, you were satisfied.

  • Not one dull minute

    by Kingbee79LB on 7/13/09The Fox Theater - Pomona - PomonaRating: 5 out of 5

The venue is one of the best around. You can enjoy the view from the balcony or stroll down to the floor and feel the vibe with the crowd. The band had 100% energy throughout the show. I would recommend this band to everyone. It has a little of everything for everyone.

  • gogol dominating

Probably the best live show around. Kick total ass.
