Nine-piece multi-cultural band, GOGOL BORDELLO return to America to bring venues like Aztec Theatre (San Antonio) to capacity as they travel coast to coast. These shows will give audiences a first chance to hear new tracks from their seventh studio album Seekers and Finders, which Mojo Magazine calls an “air-punching, vodka-swilling anthem, custom-built for circle pits worldwide."

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 9am this Friday, December 8.

My Live Nation members can secure tickets first during the exclusive pre-sale beginning 1pm Wednesday, December 6 until 5pm Thursday, December 7.

For complete tour and ticketing details, visit: livenation.com.au.

Formed in 1999 by frontman Eugene Hutz, Gogol Bordello took their style of Eastern European-influenced gypsy punk and doused it deep into the underground rock of New York City. In keeping with his vision of creating an international groove, he recruited musicians of all ages, nationalities and cultures to join the ever-evolving line-up.

The group’s supercharged music is based on a gypsy two-step rhythm and is augmented by styles picked up along the way including metal, rap, flamenco, roots reggae, Italian spaghetti, western twang and dub. Their music and legendary concert performances have earned the band a global following and critical praise.

Don’t miss this aural party of instruments including violins, accordions, trumpet, marimba amongst the standard rock basics of guitars, drum and bass. A live musical experience like no other, Gogol Bordell will break boundaries this March.

"... the ever-evolving collective has defied the boundaries of continents and genres in their quest for spiritual illumination through gypsy punk." - Consequence of Sound

    so much fun!

by scbabolyee on 7/12/09The Fox Theater - Pomona - Pomona

I came directly from vacation, I was exhausted and so out of it, but when I walked into the venue, just the energy of the crowd woke me up. The opening band was amazing and there are no words for how awesome gogol bordello was! it was my second time seeing them and I will continue to go to every show i can.

    Great band, had better shows

by BordelloFan on 7/12/09Ventura Theatre - Ventura

I have seen these guys a bunch times, and they are great. This show was a real let down though. They played for half the time they usually play and the energy for the show was low. They typically play real hard and get unhinged early. I think it was the first show of the new tour, maybe they weren't warmed up yet. Ventura theatre right size, horrible sound quality.

    Absolutely crazy!

by 1710 on 7/12/09The Fox Theater - Pomona - Pomona

This show was incredible. The opening act, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, had a real spiritual feel to their music, and it was obvious that they were having the time of their life. I love seeing bands have fun! Gogol Bordello played with so much energy and enthusiasm! The entire floor became a mosh pit of sorts; everyone was moving around, pushing into people, rubbing elbows, sharing sweat, screaming, jumping, dancing, and singing! It was incredible to be a part of that, although I should have taken necessary precautions and properly hydrated myself beforehand. It was a real work out!

You need to see a Gogol show

by TsunamiSkweek on 7/12/09The Fox Theater - Pomona - Pomona

Went to see Gogol Bordello with a group of 5 people. The openng back was questionable, but a couple of my friends got into them, so whatever. Gogol hit the stage, and they hit it hard. Eugene Hutz has such a presence! he can rock any beat and find something to resonate with the crowd to make it go crazy. Full crowd, too -- made for some great dancing. High energy, Pam and Liz were a sight to behold, absolutely loved every minute of the show (except for when i lost my glasses and when I was dry heaving in the middle of the crowd ;D)
