Cuban-born Gloria Estefan has been bringing the Latin sound to audiences around the world since the '70s with iconic hits like with iconic hits like “Words Get in the Way,” “Bad Boys” and “Can’t Stay Away From You." With album sales in the tens of millions, she is considered the world’s most successful Latin crossover artist, bringing an edgy yet heartfelt vibe that transcends cultures and language barriers. As she hits the stage in an explosion of cool, controlled energy, Estefan entrances ticket holders with her honey-smooth vocals, rhythm-infused tunes and inspiring lyrics. In 2013, Estefan embarked on a world tour to promote her album, The Standards, performing for sell-out concerts in venues that included London’s Royal Albert Hall.
A Cuban immigrant whose family fled the Castro regime, Estefan first hit the music scene during the 1970s as the lead singer for the Miami Sound Machine. In 1985, the group released its first Columbia album, Eyes of Innocence, which features the mega-hit “Dr. Beat” and the popular ballad “I Need Your Love.” The album made Estefan a star, and the band became more of a venue to showcase her sizzling hot vocals. By 1989, the group disbanded and Estefan became a fully established solo artist, capping her fame with singles such as “Anything for You” and “Get On Your Feet.” In 2013, Estefan celebrated her four decades in music with The Standards, an album of songs from the Great American Songbook. The album hit No. 20 on the Billboard Top 200 and continues to be a bestseller worldwide, as well as a fitting tribute to Estefan’s evergreen versatility.

Event was great! Love Gloria Estefan , she is so down to earth. Her singing is so natural as if she was just talking.
Gloria still sings well but she sang mostly songs from her "new album", which were boringly slow. .she only sang a few from back in the day. I feel the real reason for her presentations is to introduce her daughter Emily, which by the way sings amazing . .she is very talented.
This was a gift for my wife, she loved it really would do it again.
Last year all the shows in Hollywood bowl was excellent but this year I did not enjoy any show ,
It was a great Friday night concert. She sang classic songs I have never heard her sing and her wonderful songs as well. I loved the slow version of Conga. It was a treat to hear her daughter sing too.
Excellent. I enjoyed the old and new tunes. Also ending with 'Young at heart' really hit home. Everyone loved it.
Great performer. Great performance. Beautiful night. Great venue.
Gloria Estefan continues to put on a great show, relax and jazzy at times but brings you up on your feet with her old classics!
Gloria was super amazing, what a night. My sisters and I had a great time listening to her songs. Great job!!!!
The evening was filled with a number of great hits and "Standard" ballads that were just enhanced with the Philharmonic! I am also please to see the YOLA- Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles also get to participate- very important to the enrichment of our YOUTH.
Beautiful night, full of pleasant surprises. Very nice to see Emilio show up on stage and to hear Emily for the first time. Being Cuban, I've grown up with Gloria played at every party, every house I go to. She's amazing, her voice was flawless and she sang a perfect mix of old and new.
She rushed through abbreviated versions of her hits. Mostly sang slow melodies. The audience was largely a crowd of spectators. Very little energy.
We traveled from the UK for this concert and it was worth every mile! The venue is amazing, an unforgettable memory!
Gloria was great! She is a true entertainer in every sense of the word!
It has been a while since I have seen Gloria in concert. She was amazing as usual. Even though this concert wasn't as upbeat as others. She still put on a great show. She looked very classy and showed how she is versatile. She knows when to put on a party like concert and when to tone it down. That is awesome. Bringing her daughter out was great. She is very talented. When Gloria sang to her husband that was special. I am glad she still played some of her old music. The new songs sounded really nice. My 14 and 16 year old children although resistant at first really enjoyed the concert and found themselves singing and dancing. I hope she comes back into town soon.
We enjoyed Gloria's new music but wish she had done a little more of her classics. It was cool to see her husband come on stage and watch her daughter perform.
Gloria Estefans music catalog is amazing/impressive but nothing compares to listening to the songs live! Live in concert everything sounds up to date and current with an organic feel to it that you can only get through live music...... The Miami Sound Machine is one of the best sounding live bands out there and along with Gloria they make the perfect combo! Even if your not a huge fan of her music, as i am, you will still appriciate her live show. Throughout the years i've taken friends to her shows that were skeptical and end up loving the show! Don't ever miss the opportunity to see her live!
Our seats were so close, loved it! I was so excited to hear her music in person and to be up front so close. She has a wonderful sense of humor and is very personable with the audience!!
Gloria was AMAZING! I LOVED IT! She always puts on a great show. She sang so many songs she hasn't played in YEARS!!!! The text song request part of the show was a fantastic idea and play perfectly. I will always see a Gloria concert. :) San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino isn't a great facility for a concert. It's a tiny stage and God help anyone with tickets in the side sections of the hall. The view from the side is half the stage and that's LOUSY for the high ticket price. I had seats in the first ten rows on the side and never saw the drummer, guitarist, or video screen at the back of the stage. That's a rip off! I'll never go back there for a concert unless Gloria plays there again. I'd give two less *stars* if it was any other concert but Gloria was amazing and a true performer. She ABSOLUTELY made up the difference of a bad concert hall layout.
