    Totally Non-PC

by LuckyMan1960 on 1/4/18Mount Airy Casino Resort - Mount Pocono

Gilbert rocks! Loved the gasps from some in the crowd as he doesn't pull any punches. Not afraid to call people on their bs. I laughed and laughed. Great way to bring in the new year. Look forward to seeing him again in the near future.

    Not funny

by wenrobtes on 1/3/18Mount Airy Casino Resort - Mount Pocono

A big fan, thought this show was boring and not funny. The first half of the show almost made me leave. The second have was average at best.

    PERFECT NEW YEARS EVE!

by LimeRidge on 1/3/18Mount Airy Casino Resort - Mount Pocono

No unnecessary fanfare, just Gilbert! He did a solo stand up for about 75 minutes with a few effective props. Would definitely see again.

    Sophomoric and insulting

by Anonymous on 1/3/18Mount Airy Casino Resort - Mount Pocono

I was really looking forward to a great show on New Year's. I was extremely disappointed as were my friends. His show was stupid, poor, and insulting. It looked liked he put no time into preparing for the show and his performance was just poor. A real waste of money and time.

    Gilbert and friends

by PeninsulaEddie on 10/17/17Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Gilbert Gottfried was hysterical. Bizarre to perfection. I have to say that the two opening acts were embarrassingly amateur. How do they get on stage on a Saturday night at Cobb's, I have no idea. But...Gilbert made it worthwhile.

Great night out with friends at the cohoes music hall. The venue was perfect for stand up and I laughed for the full 2 hours

    Disappointing

by ksts11 on 9/11/16M Resort Spa Casino - Henderson

Both acts were very disappointing. Several people were walking out of the venue during the comedy performances. Not worth the money. Gilbert is so talented but he definitely phoned this one in. Venue was odd as well.

    Politically incorrect hysterical

by Bubba22222222 on 4/5/16Mount Airy Casino Resort - Mount Pocono

Very funny and bold comedian who I've always liked but never saw in person. He's a pro but shockingly politically incorrect. I loved it. A great night.

    Hilarious!

by BEG1969 on 3/14/16New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

Gilbert was great. I have seen many comedians and I don't think I ever laughed so hard in my life. The only thing I can say about him is that his pop culture references were a little old. I am in my late forties and a young twenty something couple in front of us seemed confused when he talked about Bela Lugosi and Curly Howard. Loved his impressions. Go check him out but don't except him to be p c!

    Gilbert was Terrific

by haha333 on 10/28/14Catch a Rising Star At Silver Legacy Casino - Reno

Gilbert Gottfried performed fearlessly and was hilarious. -------------- Opener was weak, middle was great. -------------- Catch a Rising Star should not permit the LOUD Silver Legacy promotional stuff to happen right outside the club. VERY annoying.

    Recommended!

by nyctc7 on 10/25/14Catch A Rising Star at Silver Legacy Casino - Reno

I thoroughly enjoyed myself, I recommend seeing GG, but also agree with a couple of the criticisms of the one or two star reviews. I love GG, never seen him live before, and I wasn't disappointed, I laughed a lot, but I don't think he's come up with much new material. He opened with "So has anything happened in Japan recently?" That controversy was 3 1/2 years ago, but I still laughed at the bit, he was funny. He did bits I've already seen on YouTube and his DVD. But there was also some stuff I hadn't heard. Seeing him live is great, even if you've heard it already on YouTube, it's worth it to see him live. He is a nice man, he hung out in front of the venue after the show and seemed genuinely appreciative of positive comments. Friday night late show was around 100 people, with about 10 walk-outs.

Gottfried Warmup's were better than Gottfried

by Hans1976 on 6/17/14Mohegan Sun Cabaret - Uncasville

Overall, the show was ok. Chris Zitto and Billy Winn were the show. Gilbert's material was old and not appealing.

    Great Show! So-so venue

by amek33333 on 6/17/14Mohegan Sun Cabaret - Uncasville

Gilbert was awesome - his opening acts weren't that good, one was much more funny/current than the other - the MC/first opener was old and his jokes were dated ie: "men never ask for directions, women should just give up on that" - we've heard those jokes millions of times before. Gilbert was on stage for about an hour - people who were unfamiliar walked out - which I found really funny; they were really offended. Fans were laughing so hard though. The venue wasn't great - super slow servers - it was quicker to leave the venue to go to another bar to get a drink. we were early and still got lousy seats. We could see, but were pretty far back when there were empty seats closer. The venue was out of soda - we ordered a diet coke and they said they couldn't serve that to us, but someone else at our table ordered a rum & coke and they were able to do that for them. Makes no sense. If it was another venue, it would have been 5 stars.

Sadly, Gilbert Was the Low Point

by SDSnakePlissken on 6/17/14Mohegan Sun Cabaret - Uncasville

So, my friends and I got to the show about 15 minutes early. After being seated and chatting for a bit, the house guy came out and started his part of the show. He was OK (nothing special) and then he introduced Zito. Zito was really on and was very funny. After that, the house guy came back out, and he was much better; he was spot on and very funny. He introduced Gilbert at the end of his part of the show, and we were all really excited. Unfortunately, Gilbert was not very good, for the most part. Much of what he said was very strange and offensive. People actually got up and left. We stayed behind until the end. The end of his show was a bunch of one-liners from throughout his career, and most were all quite funny. Although I was disappointed with Gottfried's part of the show (for the most part), the other two guys were good. I give it a three-star rating.
