    This Show Was Fire!!

    by DontWant2BeAPie on 5/8/23Iroquois Amphitheater - Louisville

Lindsay Beavers and Brad Stivers opened for Gary and had a great set! If you haven't heard of them, check them out, they were really rockin'! Then came Gary! This was maybe my 8th or 9th time seeing him and he never disappoints! With a couple of new songs mixed in with all of our favorites, and a new stage with great lighting, the crowd was on their feet for most of the show. Gary's developed some great moves and his attitude seems a bit lighter than in the beginning. We even saw him sitting outside his bus before the show ... I was looking thru my camera lens to see if it was him and he saw me and waved! Great memories, I highly recommend going to this show! Five stars for sure!

Great show, all exits were blocked driving to the show

by Jazsi on 5/8/23Iroquois Amphitheater - Louisville

We left 2 hour's early to go to iroquois park before the show. All the exits from the expressway were closed and the roads were closed due to KY Oaks. I feel like there should have been some coordinating and anyone with a ticket should have been let in or one lane only for ticket holders.... The show was great! We both love Gary Clark Jr! The light show was great, the sound was great! The bathrooms were always clean and stocked, we didn't stand in line for too long to get a refreshment. I hope he comes back! Thank you šŸ˜

    Great Performance, Horrible Venue

by MY on 5/8/23Iroquois Amphitheater - Louisville

First off, Garry Clark was amazing. He is incredibly talented, and puts all he has into his show. But the venue put quite a tarnish on the night. Parking is horribly unorganized, and dreadfully laid out (and it got worse). There is one gate in, which creates a huge line and wait. The concessions are very slow, and did not have a third of what was listed on the menu. Very few bathroom stalls, which causes big lines for both the mens and woman's, even during the show. And that one gate in, is the same way out. Hate to see what happens in an emergency. And after the long walk back to the car, we sat for 30 minutes before we could move. I highly doubt I would see another show at that venue.

    Wow!

by Poppi on 5/6/23The Andrew J Brady Music Center - Cincinnati

Gary Clark Jr. blew my mind. Genre busting. Great voice. Great guitar playing. Great songs. His band is amazing. And so gracious to support his opening act who are also from Austin. Iā€™ll be buying the music of both bands. Iā€™m thrilled to have attended the show in such a fantastic venue.

    Another One "Off" My List

    by RetiredWolfPacker74 on 5/6/23Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

Within the last year, I've seen Buddy Guy/ Eric Gale and now Gary Clark Jr. All masters of the Blues and exceptional performers. Gary did not disappoint ... he did his thing on both lead and bass guitar. He gave the audience a masterclass of guitar virtuoso Blues men ship ... 2 1/2 hours. Can't wait till his next tour.

    Awesome performance, bad acoustics.

by David E on 5/6/23The Andrew J Brady Music Center - Cincinnati

If you sit under the balcony the sound and verbiage is muted. Wish we had known the event setup. App has poor seating map! However, when standing in center, the performance was one of the best ever!!! Will again go to see Gary. Amalgamation of some of the best of the 60ā€™s and 70ā€™s sounds!! Thank you for visiting!

    Nice show overall

by Double N on 5/6/23The Andrew J Brady Music Center - Cincinnati

I have seen GCJ a few times and this show was different. There is no questioning his prowess and relationship with the audience. It felt like there was a little too much showmanship compared to what I have seen before. He clearly has exceptional skills, but may have gone a little overboard at times. Could just be me, but it is how I felt. The venue is amazing and the audio/mix for prior shows were all outstanding. This mix was pretty loud (not that I don't like volume ,,,) and at times distorting. I get it that the sound is intended to have an old school growl, but there is a difference between a growl and muddiness. Some of the jams had no real direction, which may sound silly as I am referring to a jam. Just did not hold me and ear fatigue took over. Would I see again? Yes. I am chalking this one up as an over the top show and overall had a good time.

Amazing show. The entr'act wasn't as good, and lasted for 45 minutes, but Gary Clark played a full two-hour set, with some amazing tunes. See him. ASAP!

I've loved his music since i was 17 (im 22 now :3) and seeing him live had me in aweee the entire time. Though i wish i could have met him and gotten a picture or something signed to end the night šŸ˜” But it was still amazing! I even made a tiktok about my experience with it šŸ˜Š
