This was the worst show I have ever been to. A complete waste of time and money. So beyond overpriced it's not even funny.

Garden Brothers Circus on Tour
You don’t become North America’s longest-running circus troupe by resting on your laurels, and for its 2021 extravaganza, the Garden Brothers Circus stages its most extreme, over-the-top show ever. Garden Brothers Nuclear Circus: Humans Gone Wild features such breathtaking feats as the “Human Slingshot,” “Motorcycles in the Sphere of Fear,” and the infamous “Wheel of Death” (a massive, vertically rotating structure on which acrobats perform death-defying stunts). But it’s not just humans going wild in this show - the Olate Performing Dogs (as seen on America’s Got Talent) will also make an appearance. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Garden Brothers Circus without such classic carnival attractions as jugglers, trapeze artists and a demonstration from the world’s strongest man. Bring the kids early to meet the performers, get face-painted like a superhero and take a ride down the Monster Slide.
Garden Brothers Background
America had the Ringling Bros., and Canada had the Garden Brothers. Both began as small family businesses before setting the gold standard for big-top entertainment in the 20th century. But with the Ringlings’ circus leaving town for good in 2017, the Garden Brothers now stand as North America’s longest-running carnival revue. Its roots date back to the 1920s, when Scottish emigré William Garden and his wife Jean began touring as a song-and-dance act called Garden & Shaw, sowing the seeds for the official launch of the Garden Bros. Circus in 1938. After William passed away in 1954, his Montreal-based sons Ian and Bill assumed control of the operation and turned it into a touring juggernaut, with Ian playing double duty as animal trainer and ringmaster, while his wife Micheline oversaw the technical aspects. After three successful decades at the helm, the couple passed down the reins to their children Richard and Ian Jr., who eventually handed them off to a cousin, ensuring that the Garden Bros. Circus has remained in the family after a century of spectacles.

Very disappointing
by Abing on 10/22/17Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena - BinghamtonRating: 1 out of 5I couldn’t believe how poor this show was. Very few acts and not enough to call themselves a circus. Reminded us of a talent show. $12 for a snow cone is also ridiculous!
not what we expected
by dauin on 10/18/17George M Sullivan Sports Arena - AnchorageRating: 4 out of 5The event started late and the intermission way too long, announced 15 min. but lasted more than 30min.Expected more presentations and a much bigger group.
WAY Overpriced
by Bosiahj on 10/17/17Carlson Center - FairbanksRating: 1 out of 5They left more than half the circus behind and then charged higher prices than they do in the lower 48 states. Total crap show and WAY overpriced.

Paying for kid zone bouncy house slide and pictures and anything circus was too much for an average show.
Garden Bros Circus: Not bad if you're 5-8 y/o.
by KiddoDad on 10/16/17George M Sullivan Sports Arena - AnchorageRating: 2 out of 5An enjoyable show for our nearly-seven year old kiddo. As someone who's seen a few Ringley Bros. shows in my youth, this one was absolutely amateur by comparison. It's a single ring. No ring master. Very mediocre production value. There was zero cohesiveness or "flow" to the show. Basically it felt like a dozen or so different acts that were randomly sent to the ring to do their thing for several minutes each. All things considered, the ticket prices were reasonable for the enjoyment level of the show. The show had an intermission that was easily more than 30 minutes long, which is where they make their money by charging for horse rides, bouncy house minutes, photographs, and the like. Plus the usual blinky plastic souvenirs. Bottom line? Would recommend up to age eight. Don't expect a mind-blowing experience, but a good way to spend an hour or two.
Disappointing
by Sprinklez907 on 10/15/17George M Sullivan Sports Arena - AnchorageRating: 1 out of 5I was expecting a lot more. I had looked at their website before buying tickets and was very disappointed that they didn’t bring the elephants and camels because my kiddos were looking forward to it. The intermission was supposed to last 15 minutes and ended up being almost an hour. My husband found the circus employees to be very rude. The told a lady that she couldn’t go outside to get diapers for her baby unless she wanted to buy another ticket because they would not let her back in. I definitely won’t be going back if they return.
Garden Bros Circus was an expensive joke
by DisappointedAnchorageMom on 10/15/17George M Sullivan Sports Arena - AnchorageRating: 1 out of 5Ugh. Other than the couple of acrobats that were pretty amazing individual artists, this was a complete waste of time and unbelievably overpriced. Plus the 50 minute intermission was a joke because you had to pay to do anything... To. Touch. A. Horse! I'm hoping Anchorage can get a better company next year.

Way over priced to watch a 40 minute intermission of everyone who paid to ride horses in a circle.
Not worth it
by Anonymous on 10/14/17George M Sullivan Sports Arena - AnchorageRating: 1 out of 5Most of the performers should retire the prices were way too high $25 for a plastic light up wand and $12 for two circles on a horse. They spent 15 min setting up for a 1 min stunt. Only 4 horses and dogs were in the show. Must have made PETA happy.
It was fun
by Papaofeight on 10/11/17Wright State University Nutter Center - DaytonRating: 4 out of 5Small Circus but was very child friendly. Concession price too high but the tickets were inexpensive so I guess it all comes out. Our grandkids had a great time.
Horrendous and disappointing!
by Stewfamily on 10/11/17Wright State University Nutter Center - DaytonRating: 1 out of 5If I could go into negative stars I would. It was an absolutely horrible experience. We left halfway through! The performers looked completely disinterested in interacting with anyone for the floor "scam" where they charge ridiculous prices for activities. None could understand a single question. Spent over $200 to try and entertain the kids with something memorable and gave up half way through and took them home.
The lamest show on earth
by Wambat on 10/10/17Wright State University Nutter Center - DaytonRating: 1 out of 5The lamest show on earth. A complete waste of time and 320 dollars. Supporting shows like this will make me not trust you will put on quality shows. The only time I laughed was when the elephant defecated in the ring. Not happy.
Not worth the money
by Bdeshazo90 on 10/10/17Wright State University Nutter Center - DaytonRating: 3 out of 5This event was not worth the money. They did not do the motorcycle show, the clowns weren’t on stage for that long, and they weren’t funny. The acts in this circus were just not entertaining. Not worth the price of tickets for what we got.
I wouldn't go back
by LizG83 on 10/10/17Wright State University Nutter Center - DaytonRating: 2 out of 5I see why kids get in free...and it's frustrating that the adult tickets were supposed to be discounted but weren't. Between adult tickets and snacks, we spent almost $80. We left at intermission because my kids were bored. I would spend your money and time elsewhere.
Ridiculously overpriced!
by ChickDBird on 10/9/17The Arena at Southeastern KY Agricultural and Expo Complex - CorbinRating: 1 out of 5The Arena is a wonderful place for events, this review applies to the circus ONLY! I understand now how they can afford to let most of the children in for free with a paid adult. Once you get in there, EVERYTHING is so outrageously priced! All the extra things for the kids to do requires tickets, including ONE trip down an inflatable slide, which will cost you $6 each trip, as that is the cost of EACH ticket! Facepainting, camel or elephant ride, tiny snowcone, or a bag of cotton candy, all $12 EACH! Not to mention rude people trying to shove $10 glow swords in your face all evening, when you have repeatedly told them you do NOT want one! I will NEVER go back to this circus again unless someday I have more money than I have sense, and I don't see that happening anytime soon!
The circus was more than I expected!
by SuzannB on 10/7/17The Arena at Southeastern KY Agricultural and Expo Complex - CorbinRating: 5 out of 5Me and my 7 year old son loved the circus! All of the performances was amazing!
Better than Ringling Bro.
by Bray54 on 10/3/17BancorpSouth Arena - TupeloRating: 4 out of 5The performers were good, the circus had camels and elephants, which was more than we got to see at the last Ringling Bro. Circus (monkeys riding dogs was about it.) The clowns were great and interacted with the crowd. The jugglers was also great. Would like to see the price to ride the animals (ponies, camels, and elephants) be alittle more affordable. Other than that was pleased with the experience.
The circus was ok.
by Hayhay2011 on 10/2/17BancorpSouth Arena - TupeloRating: 5 out of 5The best part of the circus was the clowns..everything else was okay...other than the elephants which were awesome.

It was amazing!! This was my four year old son’s first circus. He really enjoyed it. We would definitely go again.
