About

Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias is one of America's most successful stand-up comedians performing to sold-out concerts around the world. He is also one of the most watched comedians on YouTube with almost a billion views and has over 25 million fans across social media.

In 2018, Iglesias was included in The Hollywood Reporter's "Top 40 Comedy Players" issue alongside comedy giants Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Lorne Michaels. The comedian has also had the distinct honor of being one of the few to headline and sell-out Madison Square Garden in New York, Staples Center in Los Angeles and Sydney Opera House in Australia.

Iglesias is the star and executive producer of Mr. Iglesias, the multi-cam, Netflix original comedy series, which is currently streaming Part 1-3. Iglesias plays a good-natured public high school teacher who works at his alma mater. He takes on teaching gifted but misfit kids to not only save them from being "counseled out" by a bully bureaucrat Assistant Principal, but also to help them unlock their full potential. In 2020, the show won best Primetime Comedy at The Imagen Awards, which recognizes positive portrayals of Latinx actors/actresses in the entertainment industry.

In addition to the Netflix comedy series, Iglesias penned a deal with Netflix to release his next two stand-up comedy specials for the streaming service. The first, titled One Show Fits All, was filmed in front of a sold-out audience at the Toyota Center in Houston and debuted in January 2019. The second, Stadium Fluffy premiered on October 18th on Netflix. The special was taped in front of a sold-out crowd of 50,000 fans at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on May 6th and 7th, where Iglesias made history as the first comedian to perform at the iconic venue. Dodger Stadium is also the largest MLB stadium in the US.

Both of these specials are follow-ups to his highly successful 2016 special, I'm Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry, which was filmed at the Allstate Arena in Chicago to two sold-out shows with a total of 20,000 fans in attendance.

Feature film credits include co-starring roles in Magic Mike, Magic Mike XXL and A Haunted House 2. Gabriel's voice has been heard in many animated films including the recent Space Jam: A New Legacy as "Speedy Gonzales" streaming on HBOMAX. In 2017, Iglesias voiced the role of "Head Clerk" in Pixar's Academy Award nominated animated film Coco. He also voiced "Babo" in Ugly Dolls, "Rufus the Dog" in Sony's Golden Globe nominated animated holiday film The Star and "Cuatro" in Fox 20th Century Film's Academy Award nominated animated film Ferdinand. Gabriel is one of a handful of comedians with a theatrically released stand-up concert comedy film, The Fluffy Movie.

On the small screen, Fluffy's Food Adventures, a non-scripted comedic docu-follow series completed a 3-season run on FUSE TV in 2017. Gabriel was a recurring guest star on the ABC sitcom Cristela, and also guest-starred in an episode of ABC's hit comedy Modern Family. Comedy Central aired Iglesias' hit series Stand-Up Revolution for 3 seasons. Comedy Central also aired Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy in an unprecedented two-night comedy special to over 15 million viewers. The special was a follow-up to his previous DVD specials, Hot & Fluffy and I'm Not Fat...I'm Fluffy, which have sold millions of copies.

Gabriel Iglesias is the youngest of six children, raised by a single mother in Long Beach, CA. It was during his childhood that he developed a strong sense of humor to deal with the obstacles he faced. In 1997, he set out to hone his comedic skills, and performed stand-up anywhere he could find an audience; including biker bars and hole-in-the-wall joints. Gabriel's stand-up comedy is a mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring his personal experiences to life. His unique and animated comedy style has made him popular among fans of all ages.

    Fluffy is amazing! 🤩

by Becky on 5/13/24FedExForum - Memphis

Show started at 8pm. Stage was set up so cool in the 90s. Big box tv with a VCR combo and had Fluffy scrolling on the digital screen on VCR. He turned it on to use as another bigger screen to look at. Martín came out around 8:20. Then Matt Golightly about 8:40. Then 9pm gave everyone a 20 min break b4 Fluffy came out. Martín came out to introduce him at 9:20. Fluffy did amazing with humor based on his own life and some heartfelt or reality moments that kept you entertained and engrossed no matter what. Show ended around 11:30. Well worth it! I am even more a fan of his now! ❤️

    Wasn't really funny

by confused on 5/13/24FedExForum - Memphis

Fluffy is going through some rough times in his life at the moment, and that was very apparent during his recent show at the Fedex Forum in Memphis. Instead of a comedy show, it seemed like he was in an hour and a half long therapy session, and the audience was his therapist. Hes been at this for 27 years and he....wasn't at the top of his game for sure. There were a few laughs, but...i mainly felt bad for the dude. The fedex forum is not a great comedy venue, and Fluffy did not sell the place out. When we arrived we learned our seats had been upgraded from much higher up, to pretty close to the stage in the middle of a row. We sat in the upgraded seats until intermission, but after intermission went to our original seats and were the only people in our section. Had we been stuffed in the middle of the row close to the stage, the show would have been much more miserable, but since we were up there all alone, we could get up as needed without impacting the show for other people. I can't remember the name of the opener, but he was very underwhelming. He basically told the same 3 jokes with 3 different endings each. It was as though they told him he had a 20 minute set, but only had planned for 5, and each new punchline to each joke got worse, and worse. Martin, or Marteeeeeeeen, was ok. After hearing him referenced in Fluffy's shows over the last 20+ years it was fun to see the real person. Wish he had been more funny, but... The show really started its nosedive when they came out just before intermission and did an "infomercial"where they brought out one of each item they were selling and tried to be funny about it. it thankfully only took about 5 minutes, but it was definitely not something anyone was expecting, and it seemed like begging. The show was supposed to start at 8. it started at 8:15, had 2 openers, plus the sales pitch and intermission. By the time Fluffy got on stage, it was 9:30 and he was a downer until 11pm. Even if he had been hilarious, it would have been far too long of an evening. Because he wasn't that funny, it was....way too long. As someone that grew up watching him, and this being my first time seeing him in person, i was wildly disappointed. I understand that hes going through some stuff personally, but, he should reevaluate his material during this time. The famous saying goes: Comedy = Tragedy + Time. Well unfortunately, he is still deep in the tragedy portion, and hasn't had much time, so the equation definitely didn't work for him in this case. I wanted to love it. We bought tickets the day they went on sale. we were super excited for months. and it was a wild letdown.

He was very funny. Really enjoyed all the comedians. Had only seen him a couple times on u-tube. He did get a little preachy at times. But I had a great time. Would definitely see him again.

    Fluffy was Hilarious

by Monica Cooper on 5/13/24FedExForum - Memphis

I took my son to the show for his College Graduation gift. We laughed so much together, it will always be one of my favorite memories. Fluffy is an awesome entertainer. His comedy is so real. I also love that 99% of the show was new material. I hope to see a new NETFLIX special come out soon.

    Tool much him

by Torcasa on 5/13/24Bridgestone Arena - Nashville

First of all he didn't get on the stage till 9:30 I know he has to have his intros but an hour and a half is too long I believe. I thought this time he dragged a bit and he was having the audience forced to laughing. Too many stories about him that really weren't funny that my girlfriend could have told me the same thing. I respected the opening procedures about being instances of no cameras pictures or videos but I wish something would have said about the audience being respectful and quiet to those people sitting around them as the couple behind us kept talking through the whole performance so finally I had to tell them to be quiet in a nice way and then we got into a verbal confrontation and we decided to leave. We paid over $200 to see this man I don't think I would go to another concert to see him in person again.

    Amazing!

by Natalia C on 5/12/24Bridgestone Arena - Nashville

We were there for our anniversary and had gotten nosebleed seats. When we arrived they gave us upgraded seats near the stage! Fluffy was absolutely amazing and was one of the best experiences we have had! We plan to go to his next show in Nashville, we are lifelong fans! It is so hard to find a good comedian with a clean act and Fluffy is all that and then some!

    Fluffy was Great!

by Jen on 5/12/24Bridgestone Arena - Nashville

Gabriel Iglesias was terrific! The reason I didn't rate it a "5"was because the ushers were talking during his act and at some points it was very distracting.
