Funk Fest Tickets

The concert was fantastic! I love every minute of it. It really took be back a few years (lol), and I look forward to next years.

Seemed like they were scrambling to get the acts on the stage. First few acts sounded terrible. Not sure if it was the sound system.

Sound system was terrible for Cherrelle, Freestyle and the live dj’s in between acts. If you were there I’m sure you’d agree. During the DJsets one song would be louder than the other everytime they bounced tracks. Cherrelle’s last song ended up playing backwards. Freestyles first song sounded like he was all off beat and didn’t even want to be there and it was because he couldn’t hear himself I suppose. All the live acts that had live bands were awesome thought.

The concert in itself was very disappointing. I understand why they’re retiring now , they were good at one time, but sometimes we need to let go of the past. There should’ve been professionals getting them in and out of the stage instead of waiting for each performer to set up their own. Sad to say that I’ll never go to a freestyles concert again, my sister paid good money for those tickets on the floor.😏

I think I would've enjoyed all of the performances if the acoustics in this location were better. The volume balance was not ideal. The music/Instruments were too high. I could barely hear the artists singing. Took a long time to set up the stage between performances. I still enjoyed myself inspite of the technicalities.

I enjoyed the concert but felt the seats where to close it would be nice to separate them a little and give each other a bit of space since it was so crowded.

The music was drowning the vocals of the singers. Could not hear the words of the songs very clearly. I paid for expensive seats on the floor. The problem with that was everyone was standing up so I had to watch most of the concert on the screens that is when no one was standing blocking the screens as well. I will not ever buy floor seats at the Honda. But I also do not think I we go see another concert at the Honda. And what’s with the no cash only credit card. It was pretty much a bad night at the Honda.

Our seats were perfect for the price. Tickets transferred to my Apple wallet without a problem. I know Ticketmaster has had some issues in the news lately, however, I have NEVER had a problem. Thank you for helping me make memories, I love music!!

Excellent show. Evelyn Champaign King was amazing and a true performer. The crowd was dancing the whole time. The fun fest lived up to its name

It was a fun jamming night with old shop R & B, Freestyle music.

There was no schedule so we had no idea when anyone would perform. While waiting in long lines for a drink we missed Cherrelle, whose set was super short! Evelyn Champagne King sang 2 songs! That is all! I paid over $300 for tickets to see an old dj perform and a few good artists! Not worth it and I wish I could get my money back!

My only issue was that it took too long in between sets. Good thing they had a DJ to fill in for that.

Great Time. Love how security had everything under control. I had front row seats and this time they block it so other people wouldn't go to front.

After last years amazing funk fest I was super excited for this years the final chapter. Boy what a disappointment. The DJ was awful, the sound was awful and way too many acts singing with a DJ backtrack. The entire event was poorly put together and with a lot of great talent they made it sound terrible.

Was very good. MaryJane Girls and Evelyn Champagne King were awesome. Really liked the rotating stage. Think it helped with keeping the show moving. However, it still ran over by more than an hour.

Had a great time all the Bands were great! The Bar Kay’s.....WOW AND Morris Day.... he still got it!!!
