    Frank Caliendo

by HoustonAl on 7/14/09Verizon Wireless Theater - Houston

First he postpones the concert by 6 months which I understand things happen but then when the show does go on, it was sub par. It seemed like he totally forgot his show, tried unsuccessfully to adlib. It was by far the weakest show I've seen in quite some time. And to add salt, the show was only like an hour long! I'll never go to see Frank again! Save your money and go see someone else.

    2 Major issues

by Marcellis on 7/13/09Verizon Wireless Theater - Houston

    1. Much of the content was NOT new. If you have seen Caliendo before, chances are you will be familiar with %80 or more of the content. Same Madden jokes, Same Bush and Clinton jokes, same Bunny foo foo...etc. I was expecting new material. For the people I brought who had not seen him before, it was enjoyable, for myself not so much (I expect new material when a comedian comes through town again) 2. Verizon Theater. The Facility map where the online tickets were purchased were VERY MISLEADING. When they first went on sale, I intentionally picked seats in the center front row of the second section. From the online map, you would be lead to believe the seats were half way back from the stage. Additionally I had been to the theater before when there were risors, so I was expecting unobstructed views of the stage with these seats. When we got there, the seats were all on the floor, they were junior high folder chairs that left everyone crowded, and the dividing section was about 3/4 of the way back. Point is, it was NOT what I had expected. All in all I was very disappointed as I felt mislead and shortchanged by the seating location.

    Frank Caliendo was fabulous!

by TXGRL on 7/13/09Verizon Wireless Theater - Houston

Loved the show. He was very funny and quick. Went by too fast! His show is very clean and he spent time meeting fans in the lobby after the show. It was well worth it..

    As Expected

by Texashammer on 7/13/09Verizon Wireless Theater - Houston

His good stuff is good....Pacino, Bush, Madden, Barkley...etc. And his bad stuff is bad. He did all his favorite bits and it was an entertaining show. Just don't expect the world, he is what he is.

Frank Caliendo is a must see!

by cstecp on 7/13/09Verizon Wireless Theater - Houston

Frank Caliendo is a master at impressions. I would definately see him again and would further recommend him to anyone. My wife and I laughed so much. However, the Verizon Wireless Theater was not clearly marked so we had a little trouble finding it. Also the seats were tightly packed but overall the venue was great. Frank stayed around for a meet and greet. Can't wait for some new material.

    Boring and nothing new

by jimbo2112 on 7/13/09Verizon Wireless Theater - Houston

Don't bother going to see Frank if you've ever seen any of his material. It never changes and that's unfortunate. He seemed really bored to be in Houston too. Oh well, I still enjoyed his performance as I've never seen him live but I knew what was coming most of the night.

    Frank Caliendo is CRAZY!!!

by BootsieTX on 7/13/09Verizon Wireless Theater - Houston

My husband, our 2 sons and I went to see Frank Caliendo in Houston. He was HILARIOUS!!! His impressions of Bush and Clinton are always right on. He did an excellent job with Jeff Goldblum even. The funniest part to me was that, at one point, he joked that he was out of material and he laid on the ground and did Kermit the frog. Then, Kermit peeped up and said "Oh my God, I can't believe you are still here!" He had us all rolling and after it was over, he stayed after and signed for every single person in line for autographs.

    CALIENDO WAS OK...

by Mandii on 7/13/09Verizon Wireless Theater - Houston

i laughed the whole time and had a great night out!! the only thing is he made comments and had the attitude that he had already been paid so if ran out of things to say or do it didn't matter. i've always thought he was hilarious, but i expected more respect from him for his audience. we ARE the reason he has a career you know. if know one went to his shows, he would be a nobody. at one point he laid on the floor and did a kermit the frog impression for 5 minutes!! it was funny, but when he looked up he said "i can't beleive ya'll are still here!!" Comical, but immature. something dane cook would pull!! haha his opening guy was funny too.
