About

With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, FOREIGNER is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 80 million.

Responsible for some of rock and roll's most enduring anthems including "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Feels Like The First Time," "Urgent," "Head Games," "Say You Will," "Dirty White Boy," "Long, Long Way From Home" and the worldwide #1 hit, "I Want To Know What Love Is," FOREIGNER still rocks the charts more than 40 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success. Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER's hits are approaching 15 million per week.

With more Top 10 songs than Journey and as many as Fleetwood Mac, FOREIGNER also features strongly in every category in Billboard's "Greatest of All Time" listing. At times, the band's weekly catalog sales have eclipsed those of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and most of their Classic Rock peers (Source:MusiConnect). FOREIGNER's catalog sales were recently celebrated in Business Insider as hitting the Top 40 among the Best Selling Music Artists of All Time.

FOREIGNER's founder is Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, a visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks, and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER's influence and guide the band to new horizons. Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock's greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 40-year career that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.

FOREIGNER's lineup also includes noted Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Carlos Maldonado. An unprecedented new level of energy led the group to a re-emergence of astounding music that speaks to FOREIGNER's enduring popularity.

FOREIGNER recently announced the beginning of their Farewell Tour on national television. The tour will commence on July 6th, 2023 in Atlanta, GA and is expected to take two years or so to complete. The goal is to visit all the cities where the band has played since its reformation in 2004.

  • Foreigner at The Fox

by RockingOldLady on 4/22/13Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 5 out of 5

Saw Foreigner at the Fox in Riverside on Saturday night. All I can say is it Rocked! Mick Jones was even there, which made it more special, even though I have seen them without Mick and they still rock. Great show as always, I am looking forward to seeing them again.

  • Best show ever

I was worried at first thought it might have been all acoustic. Plus the venue has a lot of season ticket holders (which means retirees) lol. It was one of the best concerts I have ever attended. They played all their number one hits and we stood on our feet the entire time. I would love to see them again.

Foreigner's performance took me back to high school in 1979. They sound exactly the same. The show was pure energy and I'd go see then again in a heartbeat!!

A pleasant treat when a concert way exceeds expectations. The whole place was energized feeding off the band and the crowd. Had a lot of fun & would definitely recommend this highly to anyone looking for a good time.

  • Foreigner was fantastic...

by RanchoCarol on 4/22/13Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 5 out of 5

What fun this concert was! The whole audience was on their feet throughout - which is not the norm at the Fox Theatre. The only critique I would have is that they were not loud enough. It sounded like we were listening to the radio at times instead of a live show...

  • the music was good

by moradadel on 4/22/13Silver Legacy Casino - RenoRating: 2 out of 5

The music was good, but the venue wasn't appropriate for a rock band when the lead singer encouraged everyone to stand. This is an older band and the people attending were older and of an age where they wanted to sit and listen to the music. There were people in wheelchairs and walkers who didn't get to see any of the show except maybe on the big screens and you could do that at home.

  • Foreigner rocked Riverside

by JiminSocal on 4/22/13Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 5 out of 5

What a great show Foreigner puts on. They may not vary their setlist, and they may only have one member from the original band, but it was a great night.

  • The best

by acuri on 4/22/13Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 5 out of 5

An amazing show. Lots of energy, spectacular sound, and a very good place. Kelly Hansen has a contagious energy. Mick Jones is fantastic, still excites everyone.

  • Foreigner right the hell on!

by SuzyQ247 on 4/22/13Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 4 out of 5

Lou Gramm wasn't there, in fact the only original member was Mick Jones. But it was a good time, good music and flashback to the past!

The band was tight and the crowd was into it. I would have liked to hear some of "Can't Slow Down" but really enjoyed the show. Thanks too for helping local music programs!

  • kudos to silver legacy

by maxthesax on 4/21/13Silver Legacy Casino - RenoRating: 4 out of 5

sound was perfect - you could hear all the instruments and the volume was not eardrum breaking. The band is very tight and with a youngster filling in for Mick Jones, there was a lot of energy. Nice touch in that the band was donating CD sales and raffling a guitar to support local music programs in schools.
