About

With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, FOREIGNER is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 80 million.

Responsible for some of rock and roll's most enduring anthems including "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Feels Like The First Time," "Urgent," "Head Games," "Say You Will," "Dirty White Boy," "Long, Long Way From Home" and the worldwide #1 hit, "I Want To Know What Love Is," FOREIGNER still rocks the charts more than 40 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success. Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER's hits are approaching 15 million per week.

With more Top 10 songs than Journey and as many as Fleetwood Mac, FOREIGNER also features strongly in every category in Billboard's "Greatest of All Time" listing. At times, the band's weekly catalog sales have eclipsed those of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and most of their Classic Rock peers (Source:MusiConnect). FOREIGNER's catalog sales were recently celebrated in Business Insider as hitting the Top 40 among the Best Selling Music Artists of All Time.

FOREIGNER's founder is Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, a visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks, and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER's influence and guide the band to new horizons. Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock's greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 40-year career that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.

FOREIGNER's lineup also includes noted Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Carlos Maldonado. An unprecedented new level of energy led the group to a re-emergence of astounding music that speaks to FOREIGNER's enduring popularity.

FOREIGNER recently announced the beginning of their Farewell Tour on national television. The tour will commence on July 6th, 2023 in Atlanta, GA and is expected to take two years or so to complete. The goal is to visit all the cities where the band has played since its reformation in 2004.

Captured the audience by the third chord!

by HealingTouch on 9/10/13Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

I went to the concert in a funk from one of the worst summers in my life. Within minutes all of the burden of the summer was lifted off of me and I felt myself coming back! It was almost magical. Not only was the music fabulous but these seem to be great guys who connect in a unique way with the audience. I'm so glad I went.

    Bad sound

by Styxguy on 9/9/13Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

The band was great. The sound system at Mystic sucks or the person running the sound board doesn't have a clue.

    Foreigner was Fantastic!

by TWOK22 on 9/9/13Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

They put on a hell of a show, had some great humor and got people out of their seats! I never sat for a minute. Rock concerts are not to be sat thru. Would see them again in a heartbeat, Mystic is great for concerts! Also hubby and I got the cold as ice t-shirts, very fun with the Pepsi bottle cap look, goes with our Tesla coke bottle cap T from last year.

    Front Man rocks!!!!!

by Vikingsfan44 on 9/9/13Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

Great performance from the whole band!! The front man - Kelly Hansen knows how to work an audience. He looks somewhat like Alice Cooper (without the make-up), but struts the stage like a cross between Freddie Mercury and Roger Daltrey. His vocals were excellent - sounded just like the records even though he wasn't the original vocalist on them! All the band looked they enjoyed themselves. Their show lasted for just shy of two hours. They worked hard!! Great musicians - great rock n' roll nite out!

    Foreigner fantastic!

by Tjhyway on 9/9/13Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

We saw Foreigner at an outside venue last year and they were awesome. When we saw they were going to be in concert at Mystic Lake casino we jumped at the chance to see them again. We were not disappointed. They were even better There was no opening act and they opened on time. A lot of times it seems when you hear an artist or group in person they don't sound as nearly as good as they do on their recordings. Well that is definitely not the cae with Foreignr! I will admit the first time I went to their concert I wasn't sure what songs they sang but once they played I recognized their songs and even know the words to many of them! We thoroughly loved seeing a hearing them. The light show and sound were awesome. I would highly recommend anyone to see them!

Excellent show!! Very pleased that this was the first concert that I took my 13 year old grandson to. He thought Foreigner was awesome and was thrilled to hear his favorite song "Jukebox Hero". His mother also loved it!

    Foreigner was great!

by Bluewrench on 9/9/13Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

We loved the band! Hands down...always have!!! However, we were very disappointed as we purchased front row seats for the first time and thought this is what we actually had. To our surprise, there were 4 rows deep of people "standing" in front of us. We thought the management would come down and make them go back to 'their" purchased seats but they never did. So throughout the whole concert, we had to stand (very tiring) to see "anything", got drinks spilled on us and continually got bumped into while trying to enjoy what we bought tickets for.....to 'see' the Foreigner Band in our "so called" front row purchased seats. I would recommend buying the cheap seats and then walk down to the front of the stage and block the view of anyone in the first few rows. The overall rating of the band is 5 stars but I had to say average because of what took place with our view.

The concerts are not as enjoyable since Mystic started serving alcohol.. The band really insisted that people STAND through the concert. We had seats that were very close to the stage and were forced to stand. I did not want to be singled out for not standing and it was VERY difficult for me. I am having knee surgery next week and was quite uncomfortable. The one time I sat down the drunk couple behind us tapped me on the shoulder. Very rude...

    Great show!!

by poproc on 9/9/13Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

They were fantastic and very enjoyable, but their set volume level was way too high for the theater size!! We should have brought ear plugs, as we noted several had them on!! Seems that is the trend today for concerts, and the main reason we attend very few! The group played all their top hits and the lead singer was fun to watch. Having the Prior Lake HS choir at the end song was a big plus………BUT again the volume level was was TOO HIGH!!!!

    Feeling duped

by MplsMe on 9/9/13Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

This will be the last time I buy full priced tickets to a favorite band without researching first whether the band actually has any original band members. Spent way too much money to hear a cover band.
