About

With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, FOREIGNER is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 80 million.

Responsible for some of rock and roll's most enduring anthems including "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Feels Like The First Time," "Urgent," "Head Games," "Say You Will," "Dirty White Boy," "Long, Long Way From Home" and the worldwide #1 hit, "I Want To Know What Love Is," FOREIGNER still rocks the charts more than 40 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success. Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER's hits are approaching 15 million per week.

With more Top 10 songs than Journey and as many as Fleetwood Mac, FOREIGNER also features strongly in every category in Billboard's "Greatest of All Time" listing. At times, the band's weekly catalog sales have eclipsed those of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and most of their Classic Rock peers (Source:MusiConnect). FOREIGNER's catalog sales were recently celebrated in Business Insider as hitting the Top 40 among the Best Selling Music Artists of All Time.

FOREIGNER's founder is Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, a visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks, and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER's influence and guide the band to new horizons. Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock's greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 40-year career that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.

FOREIGNER's lineup also includes noted Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Carlos Maldonado. An unprecedented new level of energy led the group to a re-emergence of astounding music that speaks to FOREIGNER's enduring popularity.

FOREIGNER recently announced the beginning of their Farewell Tour on national television. The tour will commence on July 6th, 2023 in Atlanta, GA and is expected to take two years or so to complete. The goal is to visit all the cities where the band has played since its reformation in 2004.

  • Feels like the last time

by Nessa on 10/14/25Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

We went to Kelly Hanson's last two shows as the lead singer with Foreigner. It was definitely bittersweet, but Foreigner never disappoints. The chemistry of this band is electrifying. Each and every band member gives one thousand percent each and every show. The music is timeless. Kelly's last show was full of tears and laughter. It was definitely a night we will never forget, saying goodbye to Kelly and welcoming Luis Maldonado as the new lead singer. He is amazing in his own right. Looking forward to many more years of seeing them perform. If you've never gone to see them live you are missing out on an incredible experience. They are remarkable.

My husband and I were celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary, and we danced and sang along to every song! It was amazing! The musicians are top notch, and the lead singers hit it out of the park!

The performance was excellent the valet park made it a pleasure from walking through the doors and the guided signs were very helpful making directions to the concert hall a breeze in the Hardrock casino. The staff and security provided were spot on. When time came to retrieving my car it was also fast and easy making exit from the Hardrock casino simple.

  • Upcoming great future with the new front singer!

by Truly jukebox heroes!!!!! on 10/14/25Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

I have always loved Foreigner for the past 40 years… however when I heard that Kelly Hansen was leaving the lead singer position after 20 years, I was kind of disappointed and apprehensive… that was until he introduced his replacement who was the lead guitarist Luis Maldonado!! I don’t think he could’ve picked a better singer to pass the torch on to such a talented person! I think new music may even be coming their way… such good stage presence and tightness with all the members. The only original band member is the keyboard player, but I didn’t mind looking forward to seeing them in the future!!

  • Awesome concert by an awesome band

It was a special concert since it was the last by singer Kelly Hansen. They were awesome.

  • Felt disappointed

by Large James on 10/13/25Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic CityRating: 3 out of 5

The band and the music was great. The problem was we traveled 4 hours paid for a room and tickets that weren’t cheap for our anniversary and they were supposed to start at 8 but didn’t start till 8:30 and were done at 10. Hour and a half only including talking about the band’s future so not a lot of songs, we were very disappointed and felt let down. We saw them preform before and the amount of songs was great plus they came back out for an ovation not this time. The songs they did play in the short time sounded great just wish they announced it would be a short show.

  • A good, solid show

by Jerseygurl on 10/13/25Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. The band sounded good, but I was sad to hear that it was Kelly's second to last show. The new lead singer did a couple of songs so people could get to know him. It's just hard to admit that we're all just getting old. Thanks for the memories!

  • Foreigner - One last time with Kelly

by Glennm27 on 10/13/25Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

The band was terrific. Our show was the first of two shows at the Hard Rock, Atlantic City which was Kelly Hansen’s final two shows with the band. They were absolutely on fire and the introduced Kelly’s replacement, Luis Maldonado who sang Juke Box Hero and just killed it. With the transition to Luis as lead singer Foreigner will not miss a beat. Great show.

Great show! Solos in the middle were good, but a little too long. I would have rather heard a couple more of their greatest hits.

Foreigner was even better than last time we saw them! Sure hate that Kelly Hansen is retiring from the band. :(
