Florida Panthers History

The Florida Panthers began play in the NHL in the 1993-1994 season. The team won the Presidents Trophy for the 2021–2022 season, earning the most points during the regular season. The Panthers then reached the Stanley Cup Final in the 2023-2023 season, though they lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4.

However, victory was theirs next season, when the Panthers won their first Stanley Cup in the franchise’s history. The 2024 Stanley Cup Final was a thrilling seven-game series, which saw Florida win 2-1 at their home venue of Amerant Bank Arena. In 2025, the Panthers clinched their second consecutive Stanley Cup title, locking in back-to-back NHL championships.

  • The Panthers know how to treat their guests

The team is what it is, i.e. a work in progress, so there isn't much to say about the performance (although I gotta say that they all gave a B + effort). However I have to say that the overall experience at Bank Atlantic Center is getting better abd better, In my opinion it is by far the best value for money one can get in South Florida. It is miles ahead of the Dolphins and Heat. Free parking, smiling and courteous ushers, knowledgeable fans (mostly fans of other teams). Plus, you have fans who understand the game and don't constantly leave their seats during play, nort they get drunk even before the game. The food is pretty good (at level 300 I had one the best turkey sandwiches of my life), the people are happy, the tickets are cheap, what else do you want?

  • SO COLD

by AverageGuy22 on 11/29/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 3 out of 5

This is my 3rd game at the Bank Atlantic Center. I've been to many hockey arenas around the country and this is by far the coldest one ever. I dressed warmly and was still a bit cold. When I saw a woman wearing gloves I was a bit jealous. The Ice Dancers: Lame. It's terrible. Do everyone a favor and get rid of them.

Great time. The BAC knows how to run a hockey game and make a great atmosphere for families to enjoy hockey in SFL!

  • by Anonymous on 11/25/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 3 out of 5

It was a great games, with lots of action from both teams. I tried not to take my eyes off the ice or I knew I would miss something. My family was very disappointed that though the whole game the center TV monitors were out, so we could not see the replays which some goals would have bee great to see again!!!

  • Panthers/Penguins Rockin' the BAC

by inongoal on 11/24/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

Not only is the climate perfect on the outside the atmosphere inside is all hockey. Panthers fans are lucky to have the best of both worlds all in one place. I'll be back!

  • pens game

by madmominpa on 11/24/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

We had great seats and seats are very comfortable. Like having cup holders. Good choice of food. Disappointed that there are no replays on jumbotron. The only arena we have gone to that doesn't show them. Jumbotron is quite disappointing in general because only sides are used. Overall good experience and will come again. When the Pens are in town!!

  • Pretty good hockey game, lame fake entertainment

by filippo69 on 11/15/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

The game between the Panthers and the Wild was pretty good. Both teams played hard and it's clear that the new GM has brought a much better attitude to the team. What I can't really stand are the attempts to create an atmosphere by the "entertainment bunch" as I call them. I'm talking about all those lame attempts to get the crowd fired up by team employees. I'm talking about the stupid games, the useless interruptions, the "make some noise!" things. It's hockey, not basketball. If you're in the building it means that you love the game and that you don't need gimmicks to enjoy the evening. Please put a stop to all that nonsense

  • Last quarter was amazing!!!

by Kodachi on 10/25/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

Since the organization, til the completete game, was excellent !! My suggestion is to get creative for the half time. And more action with the cheerleading stuff. As a Panther fan, I think that we can do original things for the fans that are the ones that make possible this type of events. Only thing is that we could not get any participation on the stuff that the organization throw for the espectators. ( like shirts) they never think on the ones that are up there.

I wish the league would let the players fight like they use to, the refs. are all over the players at the first sign of trouble. Great game anyway. The only complaint is the prices at the consession stand!!!

It was my son's 7h birthday and He loves the panther to the point that his birthday party was at an ice skating ring and the theme were the panthers. It was a great experience for alex and the way stanley and mini stanley made him feel just by telling them it was alex's birthday was unforgetable for Alex. Thank you for making a dream come true for alex. The game, the fans, the workers , the food made us feel amazing. We shall return. Thanks....

  • Great Family Event & Good Game

by FunHockeyGame on 10/4/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

Great Family Event & Good Game - This was a great family event I like that you had events outside for the children. The game was good and went into overtime. I wish we had won and it would have been a great game. One thing on the family event outside you should have this more often. You also need to have stated somewhere that you have to sign a waiver before doing any bounce houses. I waited in line with my son for over half an hour and then found out that we needed to sign a waiver to get on. You really should have had someone or something stating before getting in line to have the waiver signed.

If only the Panthers could win! It's going to be a long season with many more losses then wins.
