Florida Panthers History

The Florida Panthers began play in the NHL in the 1993-1994 season. The team won the Presidents Trophy for the 2021–2022 season, earning the most points during the regular season. The Panthers then reached the Stanley Cup Final in the 2023-2023 season, though they lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4.

However, victory was theirs next season, when the Panthers won their first Stanley Cup in the franchise’s history. The 2024 Stanley Cup Final was a thrilling seven-game series, which saw Florida win 2-1 at their home venue of Amerant Bank Arena. In 2025, the Panthers clinched their second consecutive Stanley Cup title, locking in back-to-back NHL championships.

  • Great time out

It was a great date night! My BlueJackets (I might have been one of 5 CBJ fans there) beat my wife's Panthers in OT. Regardless of the outcome, we always have a good time at the Panthers games. Would have been nice to see more people there, but it is what it is (They're working on the Blueprint!).

The Panthers game was great, we had an awesome time. It was also a plus with a game winning shot in overtime

  • Great stadium

by Nonameworked on 1/9/11BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

The stadium was great and they had a good store. The game was fun, but there should have been a lot more fans. Most Panthers knuckle only the small children, when going out onto the ice. My teenagers and I flew to Florida to see this game, so my daughter was quite disappointed. It was freezing inside, so be sure to bring a sweater. Some people brought blankets. Food-wise, they have everything you could want, including cupcakes, cookies, smoothies, coffee drinks and candy. Don't arrive too early, as the doors are locked until one hour before game time.

  • Not as expected.

The view from the seats was not that great, and the game cold of been better.

The seats could of been in a more visible location and the experience was ok.

It was a great game, over priced but a great game. I have to say I was amazed to see large mass of Canadien Fans that came to the game. Here in Florida it was just astounding to see the owned the arena by far.I was routing for the Panthers and enjoyed the game regardless that they lost. Both teams played awesome! I give the Canadien Fans a proud fist pump to them as I was engulfed with their energy that they brought to the game....I loved it!

Any time the Bruins win, especially on the road after travelling through a blizzard to see them, they deserve 5 stars!

Great game, BankAtlantic is a great place to watch hockey, not a bad seat in the house, foot is decent, getting in and out is easy....

  • Bruins vs Panthers @ BankAtlantic Center

by GregSmith on 12/30/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

Easy drive to BankAtlantic Center from the west coast of Florida. Parking was free! The arena opened 1 hour prior to game time. I wish that they would open 1.5 hours before game time in order to eat and check out their pro shop. The hockey was great. The between periods and TV timeout entertainment was good. The Ice dancer certainly caught my 16 yr old son's attention...LOL. The Panthers mascot was on injured reserved so BAC management brought in the Miamia Heat, Miami Hurricanes & Florida Marlins mascots.

  • Bruins win in a shoot out!!!

Game was great, Tim Thomas played out of his mind as he always does.

  • Excellent time

The arena is an amazing place to see an event. The Florida fans were fun to be around, they were not obnoxious or threatening in any way, as in some other arena's. The food was good, as were the beverages. The only problem was that the Sabre's did not show up!

  • Rangers @ Panthers

by Matty35 on 12/4/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

I had a great time but then again my NY Rangers won so that's probably why I'm so happy ... the seats were great as far as the view was concerned although with how high up we were the fact that there was no glass in front was a bit scary and not a lot of leg room for being the first row so it was a bit uncomfortable if you are tall ... but other than that they were great seats even up in the 400's
