Florida Panthers History
The Florida Panthers began play in the NHL in the 1993-1994 season. In their 29 seasons, the Panthers have made it to the playoffs nine times. The team won the Presidents Trophy for the 2021–2022, earning the most points during the regular season. The last time the Panthers were in the playoffs was for the 2022–2023 season where they reached the Stanley Cup Final, but lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4.

Florida Panthers at FLA Live Arena
FLA Live Arena (formerly BB&T Center) has been the home of the Florida Panthers since the arena opened its doors in 1998. The arena welcomes more than 1.2 million guests on an annual basis for sporting events, major concerts and other family events. The venue has hosted the 2001 and 2015 NHL Draft and the 2003 and 2023 NHL All-Star Games. In 2020, the FLA Live Arena became the first NHL facility to earn the WELL Health-Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management. FLA Live Arena also served as the host of the 2023 Stanley Cup Final, where the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Panthers in Game 4.
The Florida Panthers’ 2023–24 regular season kicks off in October at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, when the Panthers face off against the Minnesota Wild. The Panthers will host a rematch of the 2023 Stanley Cup Final with reigning NHL champions the Vegas Golden Knights on December 23.
