Florida Panthers History

The Florida Panthers began play in the NHL in the 1993-1994 season. The team won the Presidents Trophy for the 2021–2022 season, earning the most points during the regular season. The Panthers then reached the Stanley Cup Final in the 2023-2023 season, though they lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4.

However, victory was theirs next season, when the Panthers won their first Stanley Cup in the franchise’s history. The 2024 Stanley Cup Final was a thrilling seven-game series, which saw Florida win 2-1 at their home venue of Amerant Bank Arena. In 2025, the Panthers clinched their second consecutive Stanley Cup title, locking in back-to-back NHL championships.

  • Overtime was so exciting!!

by BabsandRob on 10/4/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

The parking to go in was good, we got a great spot and it was free. The seats in the club level were excellent! I had some food up there and it was good too. A little pricey for a soda though. The game was really good and Stanley the mascot kept everyone laughing on the side line. All and all a good time was had by everyone in our group.

  • Nothing has changed in over a decade!

by UnimpressedByThePanthers on 10/4/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 1 out of 5

As a former season-ticketholder and an avid NHL fan, I was totally unimpressed by this game. The audio and lighting were mismanaged. The announcer sounded like a Field General. There was ZERO excitement as the on-ice talent level has not improved in over a decade. The best part of the night was the intermission entertainment. Sadly, a big 'thumbs down' on the Panthers and the whole Panthers organization.

  • Cats Pause

by JettyCat on 10/4/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

I always love coming out to the Bank Atlantic Center to see the Cats play. Whether it's pre-season or fighting for a playoff spot, the Florida Panthers are grrr8!!!

Finally the Panthers are back! It's been soooo long. I enjoyed the game, as did my family and friends.

THE GAME WAS GOOD, BUT THE PEOPLE GETTING UP OUT OF THEIR SEATS WHILE THE GAME WAS IN PLAY WAS EXTREMELY ANNOYING. THE ANNOUNCERS SHOULD HAVE MADE A FEW ANNOUCEMENTS REGARDING THE RULES, SEEING AS MANY PEOPLE WERE NEW TO THE GAME.

  • it was OK

by Adolf on 10/3/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 3 out of 5

The game was OK the Panthers need to star winning otherwise I will not pay to see them. I haven.t seen a Panther player showing up in a local Ice rinks to show support to our young hockey players this will help to increase the overall ticket sales

  • 5 MIN WAS WORTH WATCHING

by hockey1995 on 10/3/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 1 out of 5

One of the slowest game ever still felling bad for Voukon and Clememsen ... the only good part was the 5 min of the 3rd period lol - the anoucer was horrible like he did not know how to anouce a hockey game, too loud and off when a penalty or a penalty kill was anounced lol when the panthers got a penalty he screamed "this is the florida panthers power play !!" lol we got the penalty :)

  • Fun & Panthers

by Piglet73 on 10/3/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

My 8 year old child had fun in the bounce house and the blow-up amusements. Then we went to the Panther game and had a grand time cheering on the home team. Of couse, soon as my young man hit his car seat he past out for the night, but he did so with a big smile on his face.

  • Pre-season Hockey

by Jean33064 on 10/3/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

I love hockey. But I hope this pre-season game isn't a sign of things to come. They didn't even really start skating until the last 5 minutes of the 3rd period. I was kind of disappointed in the team though Sean did get into a fight.

  • Panther vs Lightning - Preseason Game

by MrsDeetz on 10/3/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great! The tickets were free. There were great activities for the kids outside beforehand. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her first Panther game - despite the loss! We will be going back for more!

  • Panthers v. Lightning kids interactive events

by dbmCane on 10/3/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

We attended the exhibition game between the Panthers and Lightning with the kids' interactive event setup before the game. The kids had a lot of fun with the outdoor events. Once inside, we had a great time at the game. The kids enjoyed seeing the hockey game and the in-between activities. I would request that you get Stanley C Panther to the upper deck once in a while! Also, if the Panthers could score a little, the game might be more exciting.

  • Panther Hockey

by G8rsportz on 10/3/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome event. Very family oriented. Kids first professional hockey game. They loves the bounce houses, slides, facepainting, and meeting the ice dancers. Especially enjoyed the action on the ice as well.

  • Refs preferred Tampa Bay

by JenRegan on 10/3/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 3 out of 5

The refs had a serious issue, favoring Tampa Bay over our Panther's! At least in the end, even though we didn't win, they took some shots at the Tampa players. Nothing like our Panther's taking matters into their own hands.

  • The Florida Panthers are stars

by HockeyChick1968 on 10/3/10BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

Even when they are doing badly, watching these guys is a buzz. The service at the stadium is great. Well worth a visit.

  • Go Bruins!

    by badkitty06 on 9/26/10Blue Cross Arena - RochesterRating: 4 out of 5

Awesome game with some hard hitting action. Lots of fun except for the Bruins lost 3 to 2. I was disappointed that there wasn't any merchandise for sale, I was looking forward to buying a shirt or something. Stay away from the food it was awful.
