Florida Panthers History

The Florida Panthers began play in the NHL in the 1993-1994 season. The team won the Presidents Trophy for the 2021–2022 season, earning the most points during the regular season. The Panthers then reached the Stanley Cup Final in the 2023-2023 season, though they lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4.

However, victory was theirs next season, when the Panthers won their first Stanley Cup in the franchise’s history. The 2024 Stanley Cup Final was a thrilling seven-game series, which saw Florida win 2-1 at their home venue of Amerant Bank Arena. In 2025, the Panthers clinched their second consecutive Stanley Cup title, locking in back-to-back NHL championships.

The Penguins are great, what a fun game! The BankAtlantic Center was really nice and had lots of fun for the kids outside before the game. We will definitely go back!

  • It was Fun

I like the game and the seats. I thought the ice dancers were way to sexy though - they looked/danced like strip club performers. The intermission game with the kids was neat. Both girls who sang (one the national anthem) were fantastic.

by Chuckee on 3/11/11BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

I don't know that much about hockey but do find it really entertaining to watch. And the Panthers put on a pretty good show. There is plenty of entertainment between periods, and the whole experience is enjoyable.

  • Hawks VS Florida

by Hawksfan222 on 3/10/11BankAtlantic Center Florida Panthers - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

Stadium was nice, free parking was great. Good sight lines, seat was great, very enjoyable except the outcome. Getting out of the parking lot was not fun. No one directing traffic.

People seriously need to learn how to support their local team...no one really chants anything and when I'd start chanting, no one would follow

Game was rather uneventful and fans didn't seem to be very involved, but otherwise I had a good time and would attend another game.

  • Habs home game away from home

Fun evenning. Great seats for the price. Not an overly exciting game as the Habs dominated throughout.

Box office staff very unhelpful Refreshment stands staff unfriendly Constant interuptions owing to spectators being allowed into and out of their seats during the game Suggest you might want to go to Tampa instead - like we did - and thoroughly enjoyed both games!!!!! If you make the effort for a 400 mile road trip - like we did - then it's got to be good - and The BankAtlantic Center just were not up to the mark I'm a Brit and have been to Madison Sq Gdns, Montreal, Toronto, Tampa and Sunrise City (Florida Panthers) is way way behind the others..................................................
