Florida Panthers History

The Florida Panthers began play in the NHL in the 1993-1994 season. The team won the Presidents Trophy for the 2021–2022 season, earning the most points during the regular season. The Panthers then reached the Stanley Cup Final in the 2023-2023 season, though they lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4.

However, victory was theirs next season, when the Panthers won their first Stanley Cup in the franchise’s history. The 2024 Stanley Cup Final was a thrilling seven-game series, which saw Florida win 2-1 at their home venue of Amerant Bank Arena. In 2025, the Panthers clinched their second consecutive Stanley Cup title, locking in back-to-back NHL championships.

  • Great game

Loved the complimentary Lexus parking! Ate a delicious turkey sandwich from the Carvery. Got a couple beers. Unfortunately our seats were surrounded by BlackHawks fans but we enjoyed the experience of a live game.Nice stadium.

  • Great seat horrible fans.

    by P. on 3/3/20BB&T Center - SunriseRating: 3 out of 5

LI’m bed our seat but the guys behind us swearing and yelling at goalie the whole time. Usher just threatened him and he kept yelling. $300 tickets to deal with juvenile immature guys just because they didn’t want to be checked for paying the same. Rethinking live games. Do t deal with that in Chicago or home for less.

  • Awesome evening

We took friends to their first Panthers game. They absolutely enjoyed it! The whole evening was a great time! You made a new set of Panther fans. Keep up the good work!

  • Leafs vs Panthers

The venue was excellent and easy to get into and away from--the arena staff were very professional and friendly

  • Watched the Leafs hang a beating on the Panthers Feb 27th.

The facility, building and surrounding landscape was fantastically pleasing to the eye. Inside, the concourse area is beautiful. The rink, the sound and lighting, and the overall PR sales package of the Panthers is not quite up to snuff yet, but all in all, a great night at a fine venue.

  • Leafs down the panthers

Awesome hockey game. Dont get the steak sandwich from outbacks. Ridiculous small and way too expensive.

  • Go Leafs Go!

    by Wayner’s on 3/1/20BB&T Center - SunriseRating: 4 out of 5

The whole game experience was just great inside. Not much interaction going on pre-game like there is at other venues ie; Tampa & Vegas are both much better. However just a tip to get your food purchases before the game or just before the period ends as the concession lineups are forever long waiting. Some music entertainment during the downtime’s during the game would make the wait for the game to re-start more palatable.

  • great time

Watching the Edmonton Oilers play in your super fun and friendly Arena was Great. My only suggestion would be to more clearly mark and advertise your ride share lot. As visitors from another country,we used a ride share company and giving them a pick-up location was very frustrating. We eventually got back to our hotel but it was a long process and would be the only issue to make us think twice about returning. Otherwise................FANTASTIC

  • Good old hockey game

Dylan provided a behind the scenes look at BB&T arena! He gave a great tour and outlined all the advantages of being a season ticket holder. He impressed me and my friends.

  • Sahlins Value pack

    by C. H. on 1/15/20BB&T Center - SunriseRating: 2 out of 5

Yah so i got this sahlins red hot value pack which said "comes with a drink, hot dog and popcorn" half the arena had no idea how to use it and when we did we still had to pay? This needs to get figured out.

  • Mixed bag

by Mike on 1/15/20BB&T Center - SunriseRating: 2 out of 5

Have attended in the past found more promotional packages available then, none this time. When buying tickets, app displayed arena appeared almost sold out. On our attendance only about 2/3rds full. Parking pricey at $ 20.00 USD = $ 26.10 CAD Draft at concessions cool not cold and mostly flatish, didn't finish it. Tall boy cans of Canadian or Labatts $ 14.00 USD = $18.30 CAD. Oh and our Leafs got rinsed so it just felt even more painful.

  • Worth the drive....

    by Will N. on 12/16/19BB&T Center - SunriseRating: 5 out of 5

Drove down from Fort Myers for my 9 + 13 YO daughters to see their first NHL game and they loved it! Have been to numerous Everblades games but no comparison to the real thing... The quality of every detail was superior: Players, game, venue, food, security, and class of other fans. We have had several bad experiences at Hertz Arena where belligerent/drunk fans aren't removed or even spoken with which creates hesitation to return in general. Thank you so much for a perfect evening out that my daughters will remember for a long time....
