About

FLEETWOOD MAC IN CONCERT:

The Rumours are true: Fleetwood Mac will be joined by Christine McVie for their 2014 world tour, and the band is just as excited about it as their fans. McVie left the band for personal reasons back in 1998, making the Mac's subsequent touring somewhat of a bittersweet experience for concertgoers. Bittersweet no more, however — fans lucky enough to score a ticket to Fleetwood Mac's 2014 On With the Show tour will get to experience McVie classics like "Everywhere" and "Little Lies" alongside Fleetwood Mac staples like "Dreams" and "Rhiannon," marking the first time in nearly 20 years the band's classic lineup has toured together.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Legendary British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac was formed in 1967 by Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood. After moderate success as a no-frills blues band in the late '60s, the group underwent a turbulent period marked by lineup changes and lawsuits in the early '70s. With the additions of Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks by 1975, the band entered their most successful period, riding to both critical and commercial acclaim with a string of No. 1 albums including Rumours (1977) and Mirage (1982). The group's chemistry both in and out of the studio resulted in some of the era's most enduring hits, and the continued popularity of songs like "Dreams," "Gypsy," and "Sara," have made them one of the top-selling acts of all time. Following Christine McVie's departure in 1998, the band continued to tour with a scaled-down lineup, thrilling fans in 2014 with the announcement of McVie's return for their On With the Show tour.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"This was the best concert that I have seen in years. They can still rock the house. Stevie Nicks still has a fantastic voice. Lindsey's guitar playing was out of this world."

"Stevie hasn't sounded this flawless in almost 20 years. Just absolutely awesome. GREAT energy by everybody in the band. The chemistry was excellent and I think the band had as good of a time as the audience."

"Extremely enjoyable----the band is absolutely PROFESSIONAL---onstage for 2 1/2+ hours and appearing to enjoy every minute. Their sound is magnificent----unbelievable for 40 years in the business!!"

  • Rocking with Fleetwood

by Bbadnerb on 4/15/15 Amway Center - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

OMG What a concert with all of them there! I am a Steve Nicks fan and also told I am a look alike, however I can;t sing. She rocked! There was nothing I did not like. They were great and can't wait for the next tour!

  • Christine completes the band

by KHern on 4/15/15MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Saw Fleetwood in Dec 2013 sans Christine and they were awesome. The played for nearly three hours and played all their bigs hits. This time was pretty much the same, but the return of Christine made a big difference. One I wasn't expecting. The other four had done such a good job, i found myself surprised to be seeing them even better. But there it was. Christine voice puts the finishing touch into all their hits. Welcome Back Christine. You were missed

  • 2/3 good 1/3 terrible!

by LolaAnne on 4/15/15MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

My husband and I were so looking forward to this concert. I would think a band/group would come and play the songs we all know and love. Fleetwood Mac did play a lot of our old favorite songs but John McVie and Stevie Nicks did some terrible music! It was bizarre to say the least. At the end of the show after Nicks' performance many people exited the theater. When John McVie began another one of his musical 'masterpieces' many more including us left. I just shake my head. I think the band made a deal with the devil - Christy McVie. Her songs and music are great but she seems to only be there to get the audiences to pay $$$$

  • Fleetwood Mac Excellent Show!

  • Fleetwood Mac...still AWESOME!

by Pagosa12 on 4/15/15MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I had the good fortune of growing up during what I think is the greatest era of rock music. I also had the honor of seeing many "classic rock" bands when they were originally touring in support of albums that are now true classics. And I've had the mixed pleasure of seeing many of them long after most folks alive have to look them up on Wikipedia to see who they "were". Tonight I had the privilege of seeing the incarnation of Fleetwood Mac which began on New Years Eve, 1974, when Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham joined Christine McVie, Mick Fleetwood, & John McVie to form a phenomenon that has endured for 40 years. As I said, I've seen a lot of great concerts over the years. This. Was. The. Best. If you're a Fleetwood Mac fan, you must see this. If you've seen them before, you'll be amazed at how tight they are. If you've never seen them in concert, you'll gain a whole new appreciation for their talents. If you've never been a FM fan, go anyway. You will become one. Annnnd...The MGM Grand Arena is a great venue!

  • too loud

by ScottyTexas on 4/15/15MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las VegasRating: 1 out of 5

If the music was good it was a shame to be buried in the avalanche of unnecessary pure ear hurting noise! I will never attend again!

  • Feetwood Mac was Amazing!!!

by Mrsnumnum on 4/15/15Rabobank Arena - BakersfieldRating: 5 out of 5

This was hands down the best concert I've been to!!!! Fleetwood Mac is absolutely amazing and all the band members still have it!!! They blow these younger bands out of the water. No intermissions whatsoever and Stevie rocked those platform heels all night at 66!!! Simply unbelievable!!! I would definitely go next time they come to Bakersfield!

  • Absolute Perfection!

by IconStyle on 4/15/15MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Saw Fleetwood Mac at MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 11, their 78th show on the On With The Show tour. I also saw them late last year at their 9th show in Pittsburgh, and let me tell you, they sounded absolutely perfect both times. Stevie's voice is as haunting and gorgeous as ever (as is she) and Lindsey Buckingham is clearly the most underrated guitar player in the world with his incredible, mind-blowing guitar solos. Saw them on the previous tour without Christine and she absolutely makes the show. Her voice is exquisite and I can't imagine seeing the band again without her. If you have a chance to catch this show, do it! The Mac is Back!!!!!!

  • Fleetwood Mac concert

    by Zenseeker19 on 4/14/15The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was fantastic, Linsey Buckingham was on fire! He was on stage the whole time performing around 2 and one half hours. His playing skills are amazing. Great that Chistine McVey is back, nice to see them all performing together. Everyone in the audience there was ready to sing, dance and have a great experience. The only draw back is the parking at the Forum, go early to avoid delays getting parking.

Best concert ever! Love Fleetwood Mac. They played nonstop from 8pm until 11pm.

  • Fleetwood Mac was at the top of their game!!

by Highjinxs on 4/14/15MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Fleetwood Mac performed a tight knit and music laden performance that was hard to believe. The return of Christine McVie made the band even tighter and they never sounded better. The selection of songs played was amazing and the backdrop for each song fit to a tee. Stevie was is rare form dancing and twirling around the stage especially during the bands playing of Gold Dust Woman. Fleetwood Mac is a band that has endured over the years and will continue to perform at its peak due to the tightness of the band members.

  • Great show with the main cast back together.

by Harry1111 on 4/14/15MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

It was great to see Christine, Stevie, John, Lindsey and Mick back together. They sound just about the same as many years ago. They still rock!

This concert was a gift to my twin sister who has recovered from being in a coma for 30 days and 5 years of getting well. Seeing Fleetwood Mac one more time was her dream. I couldn't have asked for a better concert. My twin was beside herself with love and joy! Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to give this gift to her.
