About

FLEETWOOD MAC IN CONCERT:

The Rumours are true: Fleetwood Mac will be joined by Christine McVie for their 2014 world tour, and the band is just as excited about it as their fans. McVie left the band for personal reasons back in 1998, making the Mac's subsequent touring somewhat of a bittersweet experience for concertgoers. Bittersweet no more, however — fans lucky enough to score a ticket to Fleetwood Mac's 2014 On With the Show tour will get to experience McVie classics like "Everywhere" and "Little Lies" alongside Fleetwood Mac staples like "Dreams" and "Rhiannon," marking the first time in nearly 20 years the band's classic lineup has toured together.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Legendary British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac was formed in 1967 by Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood. After moderate success as a no-frills blues band in the late '60s, the group underwent a turbulent period marked by lineup changes and lawsuits in the early '70s. With the additions of Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks by 1975, the band entered their most successful period, riding to both critical and commercial acclaim with a string of No. 1 albums including Rumours (1977) and Mirage (1982). The group's chemistry both in and out of the studio resulted in some of the era's most enduring hits, and the continued popularity of songs like "Dreams," "Gypsy," and "Sara," have made them one of the top-selling acts of all time. Following Christine McVie's departure in 1998, the band continued to tour with a scaled-down lineup, thrilling fans in 2014 with the announcement of McVie's return for their On With the Show tour.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"This was the best concert that I have seen in years. They can still rock the house. Stevie Nicks still has a fantastic voice. Lindsey's guitar playing was out of this world."

"Stevie hasn't sounded this flawless in almost 20 years. Just absolutely awesome. GREAT energy by everybody in the band. The chemistry was excellent and I think the band had as good of a time as the audience."

"Extremely enjoyable----the band is absolutely PROFESSIONAL---onstage for 2 1/2+ hours and appearing to enjoy every minute. Their sound is magnificent----unbelievable for 40 years in the business!!"

  • Do not miss Fleetwood Mac!

by BelAirHawk on 4/17/15The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

This was an amazing show. The band was FANTASTIC! They were full of energy and performed each song amazingly great. I was surprised to see so many young people at the concert, enjoying the show and singing along. Fleetwood Mac is timeless and is appreciated by many generations.

  • Fleetwood Mac was absolutely phenomenal!!

by CaliforniaVibes on 4/17/15The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

As a twenty-one year old, I didn't know much about Fleetwood Mac as a band, I was much more into Stevie Nicks as a solo artist. To my disbelief, I left the show loving the entire band. They are absolutely passionate about what they do and you can see and "feel" that when watching them perform. They are super down-to-earth and very polite. They put on a great show. I honestly have never been to a concert where I left loving the artists even more. They sound just as good live as they do on recording and I could watch the show over and over again and still love it every time. I definitely recommend seeing Fleetwood Mac live, they are INCREDIBLE!!!!

  • Captivating Start to Finish

    by 70skid on 4/17/15The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

I'm still on a high from the energy of that show. This band is phenomenal and has never grown old in my book. It was SUCH a great show. Just magical and captivating and impressive and joyous--start to finish. Mick Fleetwood was an absolute, loveable kook (and charismatic, enthusiastic percussionist), Christine McVie was gracious and sweet, Lindsey Buckingham's guitar playing was truly spectacular, John McVie was gloriously stoic on bass, and, well, Stevie Nicks was the ethereal, gypsy, gold dust woman. Amazing to watch--all of them. Seeing this show somehow cemented my coming up in the 70s with Rumours playing non-stop in my home....how lucky am I? I love that the band members talked to the audience, told stories, and seemed so grateful for their fans. They clearly love and appreciate what they do and the gifts they have. Thank you, Fleetwood Mac!

  • SO SO GOOD

by gsparky on 4/17/15The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 5th show this tour and I would see them again and again. Not as much energy as the first shows of the tour but that is to be expected after touring for 9 months and 80 shows. There is so much talent on stage that even at 95% versus the 110% they normally give they are far better than anyone else. I am hoping for another tour once they get their deserved break. THANKS for all the great memories and a great show!

It has been at least ten years since I saw them perform in Las Vegas. This performance insured that things DO get better with age!

  • Fleetwood Mac blew up The Forum!!

by CrushedButMarchingOn on 4/17/15The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

What an absolutely amazing display of musical talent!! I knew that there was talent in this band, but had no idea they are this good. There was an abundance of passion on the stage Tuesday night. A passion that cannot be faked. Lindsay Buckingham is an amazing guitarist. And both Stevie and Christine's vocals are still spot on in their 60's and 70's. I knew that I was in for a treat, but was blown away still!! Truly an icon in our musical history!

  • Fleetwood Mac was amazing as ever

Fleetwood Mac put on a memorable performance. Pricing of tickets was too low for the quality we recieved.

  • Fleetwood Mac, still rockin'

by chelseafm on 4/17/15The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

I went to this concert with very high expectations after reading all the raving reviews and hearing about it from a few people I knew and boy did they impress. Not only did they meet my expectations but honestly they flew above and beyond. I absolutely loved the performance and would definitely pay to see them again. Great show. Anyone on the edge of if they want to go or not? I recommend this 110%!

Of all the concerts I have ever attended, this was hands down the most amazing concert ever. Stevie was amazing as always and getting to see Christine was the icing on the cake.

  • A truly benchmark band!

by Chaochizzle on 4/17/15The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

WOW! I'm not sure where to begin, other than to say Fleetwood Mac's performance was definitely one of the top 10 concerts I've seen over 35 years and 300+ shows. I saw them back in 2003 without Christine McVie and this was a radically different performance. They have uniquely different sounding harmonies with Christine's return and are truly a benchmark band! If they are coming to a city near you, just go!

  • Fleetwood Mac are Ageless Energy

by TisayJedi on 4/15/15MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

It was nice to see the audience was all in the middle age bracket-they are 30+ year fans. Fleetwood Mac made you feel like it was 20 or 30 years ago. They have ageless energy. They are legends. Best concert I have ever been to.

  • Fleetwood Mac ROCKS!!!

by Barb273 on 4/15/15MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I have never seen Fleetwood Mac and thought I should see this iconic band before they stop touring. It was amazing. I cannot believe these people are in their 60s/70s. They put some younger bands to shame. Lindsey Buckingham is a guitar fiend. He barely left the stage. Mic Fleetwood had an amazing drum solo.

  • by Anonymous on 4/15/15MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

This was an amazing show. Even though we were in the upper deck, the acoustics were great and the band put on a great show. These legends are all in their 60s and they played for 21/2 hours.

  • Unforgettable!

by SoulmatesAandL on 4/15/15MGM Grand Garden Arena - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Show was beyond our expectations. Fleetwood Mac played for 3 hours with no intermission. My husband isn't a long time fan (unlike me) but he said give it 5 stars!
