FLEETWOOD MAC IN CONCERT:
The Rumours are true: Fleetwood Mac will be joined by Christine McVie for their 2014 world tour, and the band is just as excited about it as their fans. McVie left the band for personal reasons back in 1998, making the Mac's subsequent touring somewhat of a bittersweet experience for concertgoers. Bittersweet no more, however — fans lucky enough to score a ticket to Fleetwood Mac's 2014 On With the Show tour will get to experience McVie classics like "Everywhere" and "Little Lies" alongside Fleetwood Mac staples like "Dreams" and "Rhiannon," marking the first time in nearly 20 years the band's classic lineup has toured together.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Legendary British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac was formed in 1967 by Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood. After moderate success as a no-frills blues band in the late '60s, the group underwent a turbulent period marked by lineup changes and lawsuits in the early '70s. With the additions of Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks by 1975, the band entered their most successful period, riding to both critical and commercial acclaim with a string of No. 1 albums including Rumours (1977) and Mirage (1982). The group's chemistry both in and out of the studio resulted in some of the era's most enduring hits, and the continued popularity of songs like "Dreams," "Gypsy," and "Sara," have made them one of the top-selling acts of all time. Following Christine McVie's departure in 1998, the band continued to tour with a scaled-down lineup, thrilling fans in 2014 with the announcement of McVie's return for their On With the Show tour.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"This was the best concert that I have seen in years. They can still rock the house. Stevie Nicks still has a fantastic voice. Lindsey's guitar playing was out of this world."
"Stevie hasn't sounded this flawless in almost 20 years. Just absolutely awesome. GREAT energy by everybody in the band. The chemistry was excellent and I think the band had as good of a time as the audience."
"Extremely enjoyable----the band is absolutely PROFESSIONAL---onstage for 2 1/2+ hours and appearing to enjoy every minute. Their sound is magnificent----unbelievable for 40 years in the business!!"

Enjoyed the show, especially since it was the entire group!
It was an incredible concert. I'm actually speechless that they still have it.
It was a great concert but the sound quality was not good. You could not understand the artists when they were speaking and even when singing the music way overpowered the vocals. I would have like to heard the vocals better. Should have put in the work at sound check with some people in the seats for feedback.
An incredible show with all members performing. Very appreciative of fans still willing to show their support of their music by attending. Memories will never fade of seeing them 35 years ago compared to now but the maturity in their voices was most incredible. Ours was the 80th show where Lindsey broke a guitar string where he never had before in the tour. Didn't just pick up where he left with another instrument, nag, he started over! One encore but played everything. They are to be commended for their performance because as Stevie sings, "we are all getting older, too."
The band was good, playing all the classics. Stevie still has most of her voice -she has lost the highest ranges, Lindsey was absolutely amazing and it was wonderful to have Christine back in the group. However, John was missing inaction. He stood in one place, never engaging with the audience or even with other band members. He did not say a single word, not a bass solo anywhere. A huge missing hole in a great band.
Strong performance, wish we would have been closer, but good seats, good crowd, and very good venue. Would go again. Almost 3 hours of hit after hit, only 3 songs I wasn't familiar with, must have missed them while we were busy raising our sons.
I thought this was an excellent show. The group played and sang many of the old favorites which brought back a lot of good memories. They provided a good sound outside a studio setting and there were no laspes in stage production as one song led into another. Many of the songs were well known favorites which brought the crowd to it's feet for a sing along which made for an awesome experience of emotion and energy. The return of Christine McVie only added to a band that had put on previous outstanding performances and put this concert experience into the awesome category. I am extremely pleased to have had this opportunity to attend another Fleetwood Mac concert but in this case a complete Fleetwood Mac. I would recommend this to any and all Fleetwood Mac fans.
We really enjoyed the 2+ hour show. The original band cast were all intact.
I have been waiting over 30 years to see Fleetwood Mac in concert and it was well worth the wait! I have been to many concerts over my 50+ years and this is by far the best I have ever been to. Their music sounds as good as it did 30 years ago! I would go again and again and again if I had the opportunity.
Played over 2hrs! Lindsey Buckingham guitar skills still crisp. Voices are still strong.
Best money spent on music in a long time. Best concert in forever in my ever.
Very good concert ! 40 years of rock and roll and they still can put on a show. Enjoyed every minute of it.
They were awesome. Having Christie back just added to the enjoyment. They are the best! Ever!
Hearing the vocals of Lindsey, Stevie, and Christine like the music was meant to be heard was incredible, GREAT show *****
Ms. Nicks voice was amazing, The entire band was really very good. More general theater lighting. The stage lighting made it hard to see the band.
This was the best concert I've ever attended. It was non stop Fleetwood Mac for almost 3 hours. Seeing them in person brought me back to my teenage years, so for those three hours of an outstanding performance, my wife and I had not a worry or care in the world.
Good show. Awesome seats! Fleetwood Mac was unforgettable:)
I grew up with this music - what else is there to say? Stevie can't really hit the high ones anymore, but getting old's a bitch!
I could never afford to see them before and I now understand why people pay so much. It was a great experience
LOVED THE ENTIRE SHOW. VERY HAPPY THAT CHRISTINE IS BACK WITH FM. THE BACKGROUND SHOW WAS JUST GREAT!!! ESPECIALLY LOVED THE BACKGROUND TO TUSK! WISH THEM MUCH SUCCESS THROUGHOUT THE TOUR!
