About
FC Dallas History
FC Dallas are one of Major League Soccer’s original ten teams, launching in 1996 as the Dallas Burn before changing the name in 2004.The centerpiece of the Burn era was striker Jason Kreis, who was deemed the MLS scoring leader in 1999 with 18 goals and 15 assists. He won league MVP honors, the first American-born player to do so. In 2005, the freshly rebranded FC Dallas debuted in their new soccer-specific stadium in the city of Frisco and launched a three-year streak of playoff appearances, falling each time in the Western Conference semifinals. In 2010, FC Dallas played in their first MLS Cup Final, losing to the rival Colorado Rapids in overtime, 2–1. That same year, midfielder David Ferreira became the second member of Dallas FC to earn the league’s regular season MVP.
In 2016, FC Dallas went 17-8-9 and won their first Supporters' Shield for the league's best regular-season record, but was subsequently bounced out of the conference semifinals by the eventual champion Seattle Sounders. The team succeeded in adding another trophy to their case in 2016 after claiming their second U.S. Open Cup tournament victory.

FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium
FC Dallas have called Toyota Stadium their home pitch since 2005. The team played at the hometown Cotton Bowl until their 19,096-seat, soccer-specific facility in Frisco was completed. The stadium’s south end contains the National Soccer Hall of Fame, which reopened at its new location in 2018. On top of hosting events for the CONCACAF Gold Cup, Leagues Cup and 2024 Copa América qualifiers, Toyota Stadium is also the annual site of the NCAA Division I Frisco Bowl football game.

Rating: 5 out of 5 FC Dallas has a superb venue
by FuzzyFC on 7/9/13FC Dallas Stadium - FriscoIf you like sports at all you're really missing out if you're not going out to watch FC Dallas play. The stadium is great, and there are really no bad seats to be had, you'll get a great view of the action from anywhere. Concessions, vendors, and restrooms are well laid out and easily accessible, and you'll probably spend less there than at any other professional sporting event. If you're an actual football fan...then why the heck are you not supporting our club! #DTID

Rating: 1 out of 5 Horrific
by Anonymous on 7/7/13FC Dallas Stadium - FriscoAbsolutely the worst experience of my life. The fans stood directly in front of my 9 and 13 yr old boys and myself the entire game. They were holding huge flags which contributed to the distraction. I spent over $250 on our seats. To top it off these "fans" were Club members and quite proud of their ability to over rule the fact that we, including a few 100 people behind us could not even see the game and security could do nothing. Another bonus was the profanity the Club Members proceeded to yell in front of my kids and many other kids around us. I will never attend another game and certainly will spread this information to anyone I know to save their money.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Great game, great seats, great venue
by sbenglish on 4/22/13FC Dallas Stadium - FriscoIt certainly helps that FC Dallas is having the best season in the MLS thus far, but the fact is, they play in a wonderful venue with a great atmosphere provided by enthusiastic fans. We sat in the bleachers behind the north goal and saw much of the action close-up, though I can't imagine there's a bad seat in FC Dallas Stadium.
Rating: 5 out of 5 THE MOST AWESOME GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN
by Ghomboli on 4/18/13FC Dallas Stadium - FriscoMissed penalties on each end, and 6 or 7 minutes toward the end of the game Blas Perez with a right corner kick with Eric Hasslis header hitting the horizontal post rebound and George John heading the goal. Awesome......... you can't go wrong, I certainly got my moneys worth.

Rating: 3 out of 5by Elfello on 4/15/13FC Dallas Stadium - Frisco The game was awesome! It was full house and Dallas won! I think tickets a a little over priced! And the selection of beer on the stands is poor since the only serve Bud Light!
