Overall... GREAT, however... 2 Issues!
1. I searched for a scheduled meet and greet, and the website had zero information on one! Basically, there was not one listed and not one scheduled... Of course, when I arrived Billy Cox was sitting at a table taking pictures and giving autographs! There was no organized program and his assistant was negotiating a fee to meet him! Very unprofessional and sort of weird... The takeaway was a signed LP and picture with the last living member of the Hendrix Experience for $75.00... I could have brought all ny albums and would have gladly paid more to spend a quality moment with Him... I have nothing but love and respect for the man! More care to organization would have made the Experience better!
2. As GREAT as all the performances were! All except Billy, Taj Mahal, and Doyle Bramhall, there was a bit too much personal flair... It was billed as the Hendrix Experience, yet in the end, it was just an impersonation! For example, they did an Acoustic Version of All Along The Watchtower! The most iconic song undone! They didn't even play Hey Joe! Sorry guys... A swing and a miss!
At the end of the day! "Jimi is Gone" and, I Miss Stevie Ray Vaughan......
