I have been to 6 or 7 of these Experience Hendrix Concerts. This one certainly didn’t disappoint. Having that many great guitarists playing Jimi’s music for his 80th birthday celebration was just awesome. All of the musicians were just fabulous, but having Kenny Wayne Shepherd essentially close the show was the ultimate. Hopefully the producers of this extravaganza will continue to put them on in the future. Love them!
Except for the idiot standing up the whole show, live streaming from the third row, was perfect. Great musicians, sound, venue. Loved it!
Sat in the front row! Most amazing show I have ever been part of! From Billy Cox and Buddy Guy to Doug Pinnick and Joe Satriani! Guitar-vana! Incredible visuals! I actually was handed a Hendrix guitar pick by Janie Hendrix herself. Whatever you do, do not miss this show!
Gave Billy Cox A Splatter Paint Hendrix Flag And Blew His Mind.
Everything about this Experience was awesome ... I love all the musicians who performed for us, and my date was pretty cool too.
I've attended "Experience Hendrix" 4x since 2014, and it's always incredible! To hear Joe Satriani, as well as Dug Pinnick sharing the same stage is almost too much to ask for. Please keep bringing the event to HTown for years to come!!
What a night! To see so many talented musicians on one stage over two hours was pretty special. The fact that they played Hendrix all night was a bonus! The night started strong and had a regular rock/blues feel to it. Eric Johnson, Doyle Bramhall II and Mato Naji were all sensational. Johnny Lang came out and took "All Along the Watchtower" to a whole new level. Then Joe Satriani took over and just blew everyone away. I recommend seeing this tour, if you can.
All musicians did a great job!Eric Johnson really shined with his contribution!!
Love the show, the performers and the crowd! Each year is unique and special but electrifying!
Any one of these performers can, and do Headline their own shows. To have them all creating the same music on the same stage creates an overwhelming ly awesome vibe and experience you can't get anywhere else.
Hendrix tribute...Bassist billy cox..buddy Guy..Johnny lang..Eric johnson...Joe Satriani.. Joe dive bombing riffs like a mofo...wow... dweezil zappa is grea. Great show. I was on floor and glad I took my binoculars...Marshal stacks when I walked in was a good sign....
Great group of musicians. Eric Johnson was awesome
Too Loud! and I was wearing earplugs! turn it down, think about your hearing.
All the artists were fantastic, highlighted by Ana Popovic, Joe Satriani, Jonny Lang, Dweebil and others. Jonny Lang's version of The Wind Cried Mary gave me goosebumps. Thanks to the Hendrix family for bringing this experience to Southern California!
The level of musical talent was unreal. They are all successful in their own right. And they seemed so happy to be playing with each other. Music for music. Music to honor the great Jimi Hendrix. Outstanding
more Quality guitarists than I'd have anticipated! the last act disappointing in that they made more sheer Noise than music, tho they were Capable of doin' some good stuff. 3 hours for a concert was plenty.
Tickets were easy to access and present at the door. Paramount is a great venue. The Ticketmaster app is easy to use. I am old school and it worked well for me. I will definitely use Ticketmaster again. I felt it was less expensive than the other outlets.
Incredible concert! Sound was good, the artist s that played were spot on. I loved it!
Performers were great. Soundman was drunk. Bass guitars and most guitars were so buried in echo, all definition was lost. Bass drums were so loud and boomy they tended to cover up guitars that were already undefined and unclear. Vocals ranged from perfect to so buried in echo you had no idea what was being said. Inconsistent in the extreme. Why don’t you have someone out in the audience, communicating with the soundman? Disappointing, given the talent that was onstage.
