Wow - what an outstanding show

    by C. H. on 10/7/19Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

All the musicians were spectacular and there were some fabulous renditions of Hendrix's masterpieces. If you're a Hendrix fan, do not miss this show if it's anywhere near you!

    GREAT VENUE

by RJ on 10/5/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Once again they honor Jimi and his music with an amazing show. Eric Johnson sweet tones attack us early and get us up and jumping. Mato Nanji is the glue that keeps the old guys just locked in, Amazing buddy Guy just killed it again amazing. Everyone was great the slide brothers, Henri Brown all of them. Johnny Lang came out and killed it, the place was jumping after that so much energy and tone and guitar playing. But that was just a warmup. Joe,dUg, Kenny Aronoff came out with explosion of sonic energy that made the last set jaw dropping, ending with everyone standing and applauding. it was great, my only question, where was the ENCORE..... it would be cool to see one.....

It wasn't what I thought it was going to be but it was fine

by daudioguy on 10/4/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I have Eric Johnson as a person of interest at ticketmaster. Months ago I got email about how he was going to perform at the Paramount doing a Hendrix Tribute. I may have read what I wanted but I thought it was an Eric Johnson concert. So sign me up. The day before I got another email with the Poster and realized what it was. While slightly disappointed I'm a huge Hendrix guy having seen him at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. Experience Hendrix did not disappoint. Great musicians, show ran like clockwork. Impressive considering all the different configurations of musicians. Sound reinforcement was very good. The Paramount is a great venue to hear rock bands. So much better than the 'stadium experience'. Eric Johnson performed on a lot of songs and I was very happy about that. His tone is sublime. I was delighted and I think Jimi would have approved. Oh yeah, and it is a good thing Satriani was last. Nothing could have followed his set. Monster drummer.

    Sound was horrible

by JK on 10/4/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

The only thing that saved this concert were Johnny Lang and Buddy Guy. Otherwise the vocals were muddy, and the sound mix was terrible. Even at the end of the concert it was difficult to even hear Joe Satriani over the bass drums. The first song I asked my neighbor if the guitar was even plugged in. Very disappointed. But this hasn’t been the first concert at the Paramount with bad sound mixes. I always hope they will do better.

    A Great "Experience"

by cathyellen on 10/4/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

To me, this show had all the ingredients of a great experience. First, it was Jimi Hendrix's unique and unforgetable music. Second, incredibly talented professionals who interpreted his songs with love and respect. Next, the Paramount is one of the best venues for concerts and shows. Just the right size, perfect sound and acoustics, and the staff treat you good. Plus, you can access it by taking public transportation and walking! So, no parking hassles. Last but not least, the crowd was there because they love the music and, like me, are hungry for real music, real rock and roll played by real musicians who love to jam together. What more could you want??

    It was a great experience

    by D. T. on 10/4/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Amazing cast of performers, breathtaking I should say. Venue is always the best, you feel a part of the performance. Wonderful to see middle and high school kids, millenials, GenXers and Boomers all come together for this celebration. My only complaint was having two idiots behind us who actually talked and laughed loudly enough to be heard, the entire performance - which, trust me, was loud enough for a much larger venue! I will definitely look forward to going again.

    Audio Quality was unacceptable

    by D. M. on 10/4/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

They were obviously having trouble with the sound system which ruined the show. The performers even commented on it. I’ve been to other shows at the venue that had great sound quality so something must have gone wrong or they never did a sound check. Greatly disappointed.

    Hendrix experience

by Slim on 8/17/19Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The artists that were on the ticket were an amazing group. They all seemed to have a chemistry with one another and that made the show fabulous!!! We would definitely be interested the next time they come in town.

    Somebody talk to Zakk

by Cardfanjim on 4/16/19The Louisville Palace presented by Cricket Wireless - Louisville

Loved the show. Except for Zakk Wylde. Problem is, he went way over his allotted time, forcing all the acts after to edit their shows. So, we literally got more than 30 minutes of him roaming the theater playing the same trips & quads over and over. Hey, at least he played them fast. And sometimes he even played them behind head. He may even be able to play faster than a robot; but the robot might have been more emotive. Oy vey. Seriously, he was the low point of the show for me. I could have lived with that, but he joined the whole show, stealing stage time from players i liked more.

    The Show was amazing

by Ronbo on 4/10/19Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

The ticket process leaves much to be desired. Kept getting kicked out of selected seats. Once you select a seat they should give you at least a little time before handing to someone else. Not allowing multiple people access to the same seats. That part was very frustrating. Other than that the Show itself was amazing. What a pleasure to watch such gifted musicians play homage to one of the greats. There was really nothing we didn't like musically and the venue itself felt open and cavernous. My wife and I were surprised we had never ventured this way before and were quite pleased we made it out here this time. It won't be the last time we visit Wallingford, I am sure.

    Really good show...

by Dale on 4/9/19Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

If I hadn't seen the 2016 Experience Hendrix show I would have probably said this was a great show because the 2016 show seemed to have high energy throughout where this show seemed to have mixed levels of energy for 3/4ths of the show and really high energy when Joe Satriani, Dug Pinnick, and Kenny Aronoff were on. Definitely worth the price of admission I just holistically liked the vibe from the 2016 show a little more.

    Cool-BIG TIME

by dred on 4/8/19The Palace Theatre Albany - Albany

Once again, an awesome show! Third time I have seen them and this line-up is the best yet! Eric played the best I have ever seen him! He played so well I totally forgot that Joe S. was on the bill! Doug sounded the most like Jimi singing. Dweeze sounded great also! So MANY great guitarists in ONE show!!! When I go to these shows, it makes me wonder what Jimi would be playing now. R.I.P. James Marshall Hendrix.
