  • Amazing night

A multi talented woman who created a lovely intimate mood. Her back up was excellent as well. Everyone could sing and play multiple instruments. The dancers were superb. An amazing night out. BRAVO

Esperanza Spalding always gives a great performance. The no pictures, no videos were extreme, but I get it; being in the moment is what counts. And she still looks like she's in her late 20s; so beautiful.

I loved the show but felt that it was a little on the short side and she didn’t perform any of her classics.

  • JAZZY

It was first time seeing her perform live. It was more fulfilling than I expected.

  • Phenomenal performance

Esparanza Spaulding has the voice of a literal angel. I wouldn't call it a concert, I'd call it an experience. And to create an experience and vibe like that with only two other musicians and two dancers... WOW. I am really stunned.

  • Esperanza! Go see!

The show was super awesome! I love her spirit, her vibe, her music and the riskiness to blend dance with music within her show! Way to go!

  • Fantastic!

by CQ on 1/29/25Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Esperanza Spalding is a remarkable talent not only for being known as a bassist, upright and bass guitar, but she also plays the piano as well. Add to that her beautiful voice. I had an amazingly good time at the Warner Theatre listening to Esperanza and watching her perform. This is my third time seeing her over the past several years and her performance just gets better and better. Absolutely loved the show. Thanks Esperanza for coming to DC!

  • Average show.

by dd on 1/29/25Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5

My wife, myself and some friends attended this concert specifically to listen to a talented jazz musician play/sing music....However, we all felt there was to much emphasis on the modern dancers. Agree that some dancing would add an element of interest, but in this show it felt like the modern style dancing was focus in EVERY song presented.

  • One my best concert experiences ever.

Great concert. Innovative elegant powerful musical interpretation from all. band members and interpretive dancers. Vocals were beautiful , and energetic. She had the entire audience at hello! Wonderful performer and true leader in humanitarian causes around the world. What an angel. Unforgettable performance.

  • A Truly Engaging Performance

Esperanza Spalding brought an experience to the audience and not just a concert. She spoke directly to the crowd and also invited us to sing along at times. She and the other 2 musicians each played multiple instruments, switching up through the night and displaying incredible talent! Both the improvisation and the interpretive dance integrated into the show were amazing and well done!
