With a book by Emmy® Award winner GREG GARCIA (“My Name is Earl,” “Raising Hope”) and Emmy® Award MIKE O’MALLEY (“Survivor’s Remorse,” “Shameless”), this rousing and refreshing new production is choreographed by Tony Award® nominee KELLY DEVINE (Come From Away, Rock of Ages) and directed by Tony Award® winner and La Jolla Playhouse Artistic Director CHRISTOPHER ASHLEY (Come From Away, Memphis).

Welcome to Margaritaville, the island paradise where city folk get away from it all, and the locals get into the kind of trouble you can almost always sweet talk your way out of. It was a wonderful, uplifting, positive experience! We enjoyed everything about the play- our seats, the theater, the friends we met,… it was a fun night!

Loved the set costuming all actors especially Brick. And to top it all—working with all my fav Jimmy Buffet songs to fit the adorable narrative of falling in love.

Employees at DPAC are always so friendly and helpful and make you feel at home. Always enjoy shows at DPAC and especially loved Escape to Margaritaville and saw it twice. I love how Jimmy Buffett's songs weave to tell the story in a way that I had never thought of his songs.
This show is fantastic. it combines the best of Jimmy Buffet's music with an interesting narrative. Great actors and singers. Dancing was fun and innovative. I'm not fond of Ticketmaster electronic ticketing. If you aren't on the network, it's hard to get those bar codes to come up and the only thing the ushers tell you is to go further away from the building (where you really won't find a network) to try and get that bar code. Then when 1 person is responsible for the entire party's tickets, it just gets so frustrating.

The music and acting was superb. We were very impressed with the singers and band. The venue was great and all the ushers were so helpful and pleasant. We are excited to attend future events.
Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Was it the best play ever? No. But they managed to have more of a plot than I expected and they were able to make the songs basically go along with the story. It was an enjoyable evening all in all wasting away in Margaritaville! After all, isn't that the best we can hope for?

Wonderful evening, great music and talented performers
Music was decent as I knew most of the songs/lyrics. Skits to lyrics were disappointing and stage decor repetitive and minimal. The crowd was boring and participation lacked. Venue very nice.
The storyline was great and the way Buffett songs were incorporated into the show was marvelous and cleverly done. Each performer brought their character to life wonderfully and I actually felt like I had known them for quite some time. It was just as fun as one of Jimmy's concerts, I just wish more of the audience would have let loose and participated more. Will definitely see it again if it comes close by.
Entertaining show, loved the jimmy buffet theme and music. Company is talented and engaged in telling a good story and having fun doing so. Enjoyable evening.
Show was very entertaining and the music was well arranged and supported the flow of the story.
The cast was top notch. The music vibrant and enjoyable. The story was somewhat predictable, but what good escapism story isn’t? All in all, it was a good time and the 2 act show flew by. The familiar tunes that any Jimmy Buffet fan knows were of course great, but the new tunes written for the show stood up just as well.
Great cast, very enjoyable, great story and fantastic set.
