ERIC CHURCH IN CONCERT:

An Eric Church concert just wouldn't be complete without the signature aviator sunglasses and trucker hat that have become staples of the Nashville-based country rocker's live show. Influenced by a spectrum of artists ranging from Merle Haggard to Metallica, Church serves up his rock and roll-infused country tracks with an infectious energy and sly grin that have landed him on tour with some of the biggest names in country music, including Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts. Back on the road in 2014, Church is set to take fans on a wild ride on his highly anticipated Outsiders World Tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

A North Carolina native, Eric Church got his start with his band the Mountain Boys covering Jimmy Buffet songs and throwing in a few original tunes at local dive bars and restaurants. Convinced that a career in the corporate world was not for him, Church set his sights on moving to Nashville to chase his dreams as a musician. After signing with Capitol Nashville in 2006, he released his debut album Sinners Like Me, graduating from the bar scene to much bigger venues like the Grand Ole Opry. Since then, he has released a string of hits, including country No. 1s "Springsteen" and "Drink In My Hand" from the chart-topping 2011 album Chief. With the 2014 release of The Outsiders, Church once again landed at No. 1, setting the stage for a dynamite 2014 world tour.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"The whole concert was amazing!!! The best I have seen in a long time. I'm going to have to go again."

"Definitely a must-see. Eric Church really knows how to put on a show. It was worth every penny spent!"

"The music and energy were phenomenal. The only way it could've been better is if he could have played until sunrise!"

    ridiculous price for rental chairs

by Steve-O on 10/3/23MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds - Tampa

Good show. Whiskey Myers rocked harder than I thought - and that is a good thing. Eric brought the energy and played late into the night. Not being allowed to bring chairs into the lawn is a stupid policy, and $20 each to rent chairs is completely ridiculous! Those 2 factors will limit our attendance at shows at this venue in the future.

Awful show. Worst I've seen at this venue

by Disappointed Fan on 10/3/23iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm Beach

I am a fan if Eric Church and have been for a very long time. He has accumulated tons of hits in his time as an artist and refused to play any of them for the first hour of his show. He lacked enthusiasm and the show was flat. He played a ton of songs I was unfamiliar with and that weren't good. Highly disappointed as I was really looking forward to the "Outsiders Revival Tour"where he played no songs from the Outsiders. We left after 6 songs. It was that bad. Saw him about 5 years ago and he was incredible and played hit after hit. Not sure what happened but I would not recommend seeing him on this or his next tour if this is how the shows are going to be from now on. Oh. And his opening band, Whiskey Myers, were awful as well. Horrible show. Save your money.

Not as good as his previous concerts

by KC on 10/2/23iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm Beach

He seemed like he was “just there”. There was no wow factor to his concert this time. I saw him in Greensboro North Carolina and that was literally his best concert. Was so excited to see him in Florida and it was just blah. Decent concert but spent way too much money to take everyone to it for a mediocre show.

    Good experience

by JK on 10/2/23PNC Music Pavilion - Charlotte

Parking was ok. More directional signs to the entrance would be helpful. Bathrooms were clean. Seats could be larger. Price point for all beverages way too high. Armbands or stamps for entry once admitted to the venue would be helpful (difficult to juggle finding the ticket on your phone while carrying drinks and food and trying to hold onto everything while you navigate the crowd). Sound was awesome

    Amazing

by PV on 10/2/23iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm Beach

Rain Delay could not stop this amazing show Whiskey Myers opened. Great band. Eric was great from beginning to end. Played songs from his whole discography. Played Talladega which was a highlight. Told a great story that he wasn't playing it this tour and a fan called him out on it. Added it back onto the setlist thank God. Amazing show beginning to end... GA Pit is best spot to see a show.

The warm up band was better the Eric Church

by Country Fan on 10/2/23iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm Beach

Stage show was below average. Never really got fans into it. With all of his hits you would think he would play them all. I only new 5 song. Would never pay to see him again.

    iThink

by Tam on 10/2/23iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm Beach

We love this amphitheater. We have been attending events and concerts here for many years. Many times we will get covered seats, and many times we have gotten lawn seats. We are disappointed recently in two things: first, they continue to raise their prices- $17-$20 for one beer! Ridiculous. Secondly, now they no longer allow you to bring in your own folding chair if you want to sit in the lawn. You can only bring a blanket, or you have to rent chairs from them at $15 each. With the inflation of every little thing, we feel it’s horrible that this establishment has taken some thing fun and turned it into a place where every little thing is going to cost you an arm and a leg to try and enjoy yourself.

Whiskey Myers live is top tier. Worth seeing in the rain and tolerating the church fans.

by greensideup101 on 10/2/23iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm Beach

Overall good experience. Need to extend the pavers all the way to fence line in the isles of lawn seating. A lot of people slipped, fell and got hurt.

    The Chief Was Very Good

by Russ on 10/2/23iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm Beach

I thought that he played a majority of his hits. I didn’t think that he was engaging throughout the concert, except for a small excerpts of conversation with the audience. When he did speak, he always told a good story and would’ve liked a few more interactions.

    Eric Was Great, But..

by Andrew on 10/2/23iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm Beach

Loved Eric Church and his portion of the concert. On the other hand, the opening act - Whiskey Myers was terrible. Supposedly they were a southern country rock band. They are simply Hard Rock with lots of screaming singers. I would think that an opening act for a country icon like Eric Church would play country. Whiskey Myers is no way and no how country.
