Amazing and moving performance, well worth the time and money!
He was great! He had about a 25 person band! Magical Experience
Charles Godwin opening act was great - no excess lights and video - country music. Closing with Country Roads brought the crowd to their feet, and ready for more from Eric Church. Then there was a 40 minute break before a 15-20 minute lead in of Pink Floyd music and light show started. By the time Eric Church came out it had been a full hour. It was three to four songs in before he got into his hits. Based on reviews and song lists from other shows, we had the impression he would play the entire show with no opening band. That wasn't the case at Golden 1 in Sacramento. Overall there was far too many special effects and extras in his act. This will be our last Eric Church show.
One of the best live performances I’ve experienced. His band, his backup singers, his voice; spot on.
Eric was amazing! His live performances are so exciting but also feel intimate. His humanity makes the experience even better and he has such an incredible band and back up vocalists. He is the best!
Eric Church rocked Golden 1. He played an awesome set that included known and lesser known songs. His sidekick, girl,!! is worth the price of admission all by herself. What a fantastic duo and band!! Eric is the absolute best! I will always be a big fan!
We’ve seen Eric Church many many times. In 2022 we saw him three times in one year. He’s always put on a good show. On Thursday he had no energy, seemed like maybe he was under the weather. The new album is terrible. Nothing like he’s old music. He needs to join the gospel genre and not country.
Just another amazing "seeing Eric"moment and I liked the venue but there was some graffiti at my seat I did not like seeing!
Could not make out the words. The audience was dazed and confused. He took an hour to come out. So bored the “wave” was fun. No audience engagement. Horrible acoustics, so empty they brought in drapes to buffer and brought people down lower so they could close sections. Byeeeee Eric!
Very different vibe than previous concerts. A lot of gospel. He is not as energetic and interactive with the crowd as previous. The lead female vocalist and him do not seem to connect well on stage.
Was not really a fan of new music. He didn’t start until 9:30, and there was a long video before he finally came on stage. Was expecting to hear more of his older music. Not sure I like his new music.
Concert was great except for the fact that there was a one hour break between the two performers. For people who have to travel an hour and a half it makes for a late night.
Well this concert was in Sacramento, California at the Golden 1 Center. This was Absolutely one of the best live performances I’ve seen in my 63 years. The string section, the horn section, the amazing backup ( choir quality) the musicians and of course Eric Church. A 2.5 hour non stop concert energy filled , humor filled, surreal experience. 2.5 hours later He was barely standing and still giving it his all. Every Taurian’s wanted or thought they wanted he gave it to them and more. Definitely will be seeing him again.
I just saw Eric Church live and it was hands-down one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. His energy, his voice, and the way he connects with the crowd are unmatched. And the band? Out of this world. Every song was tight, powerful, and full of life. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in every moment on stage.
Both entertainers were great. It was frustrating waiting an hour in between the two artists. If I would have known the wait was that long we could have gone to the concessions or bought a swag. Would be nice to know how long the intermission is.
It was a great show. Loved the graphics and lights. Eric sang for two hours. But, and this us a big BUT, there was an hour and a half between the opening act and Eric coming out to sing. We almost left due to the long wait. That was very disrespectful to all of us that paid a lot of money to see him. Perhaps he should skip the opening act and just come out and play at 8:00. Garth Brooks did this when we saw him recently.
He arrived an hour late! I guess that’s usual for him. Music was good, acoustics were great, but he lacks showmanship. I give kudos to his woman singer. Talented with a great voice. His stage background art lact color and variety. Come on…. You can do better!
Wonderful ...great concert. We prepaid parking and ended up having to walk over a mile. Thought there would be no close parking but there was alot and much cheaper. Now we know
Super slow start to concert. Maybe 4 songs in it picked up. Then it was country rock n roll all the wayyyy.
Fabulous show, great band - worth the wait! Eric signs with such emotion and raw energy from his heart! Shout out to CWG also!
