ERASURE IN CONCERT:
Nearly three decades after their debut, British synthpop duo Erasure continue to reign supreme on dance floors around the world. Combining the production skills of Vince Clark and the soaring vocals of Andy Bell, Erasure dominated European airwaves in the '80s and '90s with a massive string of hits that sound as fresh today as they did 25 years ago. Bell is a legendary live performer, maintaining an infectious energy and positivity as he lends his perfectly-preserved pipes to the love-drunk swoon of "Oh L'amour" and the uplifting message of "Chains of Love". The duo's unforgettable live shows never fail to spark impassioned dance parties among nostalgic fans, and their upcoming dates on the Violet Flame 2014 World Tour will be no different.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Erasure was formed in mid-'80s London by former Depeche Mode member Vince Clark and budding singer Andy Bell. Their 1985 debut album Wonderland failed to make much of an impact in Britain, but they hit the big time with their 1987 sophomore album The Circus, which remained on the UK Albums Chart for more than a year on the strength of hit singles "Sometimes" and "Victim of Love". The following year they achieved breakthrough success in America with the Top 20 hits "Chains of Love" and "A Little Respect", both from their third album The Innocents. That album was the first of five consecutive UK No. 1 records for the duo, a streak that culminated with 1994's I Say I Say I Say. With their 16th studio album The Violet Flame hitting shelves in 2014, Erasure will treat fans to a series of electrifying shows in support of the release.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Andy Bell is one hell of a performer and had a lot of energy to bring their songs to life...I remember looking around and seeing my fellow concertgoers smiling from ear-to-ear and having an amazing sing-along experience. Definitely money well spent."
"Andy and Vince were awesome. The new songs are great and it was a blast hearing the old songs once again."
"Simply amazing! Erasure kept the crowd happy and dancing throughout the whole show."

Good show, great crowd, could have been louder.................................
Though they made us wait a bit before we saw them before, Erasure was absolutely fantastic from the beginning to the end of their performance. I was shocked by how well Andy could still sing and hit those high notes. I would definitely go to their future concerts!
Had a great night seeing Erasure at Terminal 5! They NEVER disappoint!!!
I came in for this event from Colorado and so happy I did. These guys are not some washed up 80's band. Vince Clark just gets better as a producer and DJ and Andy Bell's voice is one powerful machine - and he's a force on stage. This is one of these concerts (if you know the words) where everyone sings the entire concert! The fans are great nice people too. All in all a real real special treat.
Great to see Erasure back! They always put on an amazing show. New songs were phenomenal! Older songs brought back great memories! Huge fan!!!!
Awesome show!!! The music, the lights, the people were incredible. And of course Andy and Vince terrífic!!!!
Frontman Andy Bell sounds as good as ever, and they play ALL their hits! Erasure is a definite crowdpleaser!
Great show.... however, 2 hours and 20 minutes from when doors opened to when Erasure came on is too long a wait... it was worth the wait, however...
Erasure's live shows keep getting more incredible with every album they keep releasing. The "Violet Flame" tour has been simply PHENOMENAL!! So excited every time they come to Terminal 5 to perform!
we danced the whole time, we stayed on the second floor of venue it was great, enough room to move around and no one pushing and shoving like when you're on the bottom
From start to finish the show was amazing! Non stop energy both on stage and in the crowd! Everyone around me was singing and dancing! :) Andy Bell is the ultimate showman. He is so much fun to watch. And his outfits were great! They played at least twenty songs and the ones from the new album. A Violet Flame melded easily with their older hits. For me the highlights were 'Voulez-Vous' (which was played for the first time in twenty years), 'I Love To Hate You' and 'A Little Respect' (for anyone who hasn't seen the sing along Google 'Erasure Kentish Town Tube'). In short a GREAT night and I'm already looking forward to their next gig. Or in the interim a live DVD/CD! (Please!)
All Hail The Silence was incredible!!! Been a huge fan since day 1...must see them again!! Erasure was ok...I was born in the late 80s so, I don't know who Andy Bell was....but his music wasn't bad.
We love Erasure, but they are even more awesome in person!
The Erasure concert was unforgettable! It brought us back to our highschool days! My favorite song of the night was a little respect! Andy Bell & Vince Clarke still have it! Andy Bell was amazing with his dancing all over the stage!
Played all my favorite songs, even Always! They played great as usual, like listening to the cd! Always a pleasure to see them!
Beautiful venue and wonderful seats for a fantastic show!!!
Andy's voice is still solid. The set list was perfect. I don't think there was a single soul sitting in our section or surrounding sections.
What a great show. Andy still belting them out! He made it feel like a private show. He was warm and funny. Vince playing like he has never skipped a beat. I am so glad we paid for the premium seats. They were worth it.
Fantastic show; excellent electronic composure, tight vocals, diva back up singers and classy showmanship! They made a new fan here!
I love the fact that 20+ years ago (really close to 25) I listened to Erasure nonstop, and all these years later I get to see them on tour--and they play their greatest hits! It was an amazing show, and I would definitely recommend seeing them in concert, especially at such a great venue.
