ERASURE IN CONCERT:
Nearly three decades after their debut, British synthpop duo Erasure continue to reign supreme on dance floors around the world. Combining the production skills of Vince Clark and the soaring vocals of Andy Bell, Erasure dominated European airwaves in the '80s and '90s with a massive string of hits that sound as fresh today as they did 25 years ago. Bell is a legendary live performer, maintaining an infectious energy and positivity as he lends his perfectly-preserved pipes to the love-drunk swoon of "Oh L'amour" and the uplifting message of "Chains of Love". The duo's unforgettable live shows never fail to spark impassioned dance parties among nostalgic fans, and their upcoming dates on the Violet Flame 2014 World Tour will be no different.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Erasure was formed in mid-'80s London by former Depeche Mode member Vince Clark and budding singer Andy Bell. Their 1985 debut album Wonderland failed to make much of an impact in Britain, but they hit the big time with their 1987 sophomore album The Circus, which remained on the UK Albums Chart for more than a year on the strength of hit singles "Sometimes" and "Victim of Love". The following year they achieved breakthrough success in America with the Top 20 hits "Chains of Love" and "A Little Respect", both from their third album The Innocents. That album was the first of five consecutive UK No. 1 records for the duo, a streak that culminated with 1994's I Say I Say I Say. With their 16th studio album The Violet Flame hitting shelves in 2014, Erasure will treat fans to a series of electrifying shows in support of the release.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Andy Bell is one hell of a performer and had a lot of energy to bring their songs to life...I remember looking around and seeing my fellow concertgoers smiling from ear-to-ear and having an amazing sing-along experience. Definitely money well spent."
"Andy and Vince were awesome. The new songs are great and it was a blast hearing the old songs once again."
"Simply amazing! Erasure kept the crowd happy and dancing throughout the whole show."

Totally unforgettable event and would love to know when they would be here in Miami again.
Great concert! Very talented artist and great venue!
Most definitely one of their best shows. Energy was out of this world !!! Could not stop dancing and crying. Brought back wonderful memories from the past.
Great energy, great venue. General Admission was fine and only arrived 10 minutes before curtain
Erasure put on a great show, the venue was packed all the way to the top and everyone on their feet dancing. They attracted a crowd from all corners of the spectrum and everyone blended in simply to have fun.
Erasure was amazing, however the Fillmore and the opening band were awful. The drinks where overpriced $15 for a beer and $23 for a vodka or scotch, plus tax and tip.
First time seeing Erasure even though I have been a fan for 30 years. It was an incredible show. Gorgeous set design. Great sound. Andy Bell's voice is still amazing, and his charisma is infinite. Vince Clarke, that musical genius, was charmingly diligent doing what he does best. The energy they created continued after the show as fans refused to leave and continued to dance and sang in the atrium of The Fillmore. I have never seen that before. I would love to see them again on this tour.
Was a lot of fun. Reminded me of high school and his voice is still amazing
I actually give Erasure 5 starts They did a great job. Opening act (band) was just horrible. I was surrounded by people booing and simply staring at their phones I believe one of the two members walked off stage. Erasure turned all of that around and the Fillmore immediately was filled with amazing energy and love. Couldn't help but dance most of the show. Sound system could have been better I was in the 5th row. I hope to see more of Erasure on their tour!
I went with 3 friends it was a nite that all my stars were aligned , a line for security check opened up n we went right thru then my friend got Us right up by the stage n a big Thanks to Cynthia for the wrist bands , concert was Amazing
I was so excited to see Erasure since I’ve been a fan of their music forever. They did play all their good staples and I was not disappointed, but synth pop is not very exciting, the attempt to use the drag queens to juj it up was unsuccessful .(oy) Venue: I have not been to The Fillmore since it was Jackie Gleason Theater... you’d think the acoustics would be fixed is they wanted to make it a music venue... the worst.
Amazing show....Such an intimate venue, the place was packed with the nicest people possible, and the party continued way after the show finished.... fantastic mixture of their old hits and some great new songs. So good to see these guys :)
He sang all the new and old songs without stoping ! It was great !
Caroline & Reed were just horrible. The entire audience boo’d them and the stage manager came out and rushed them off the stage before they could finish their set thank gawd. Unfortunately, they performed for almost 40-45minutes. Erasure themselves was amazing. Andy Bell still can sing and hit all the high notes. They performed the majority of all their hits (except Star, unfortunately). They even performed a cover of Blondie’s Atomic. It was an amazing show. So glad I went to see them. The Miami Filmore is not my favorite venue as they have different procedures every time I see an act there and the valet services are incredibly slow. But I would go there again to see Erasure!!
I was hesitant to go to New York City on New Year's Eve. I was also unsure about seeing a concert on NYE. Both were fine. The concert was amazing! Erasure played all their hits and few new songs for 2 hours straight. At midnight they dropped balloons and confetti. I danced and sang the whole time. This will be my New Years Eve tradition from now on!!!
Vince and Andy sounded as great as ever. Very nice selection of songs, energetic performance overall. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is due to the crappy venue seating arrangement.
Andy Bell was memorable and theatrical as we always love him. His voice brings me back 25 years ago...driving to the beach listening to Erasure. That energy by Andy, his two backups was unforgettable and makes you want more. Awesome concert in a small venue. If I could I would have seen him the 2nd night! I need more Chain of Love!!!
Erasure is my favorite group and it was amazing that BOOK OF LOVE was the opening act, they were great....and we got to celebrate 2014 NYE in NYC with Andy counting down to midnight ... we are showered with balloons and confetti... hard to top it unless they come back and play on a future New Year Eve!!
Terminal 5 was great. I must say being handicapped is not a good thing at the venue... it's difficult to see and no one was being helpful as giving me a view on the railing or allowing me into a vip section which I will buy if I return to the venue. The bar staff was nice.. and Erasure and Book of Love put on a great show... I am amazed at what ERASURE continues to do.. they are GREAT.. and Kudos to Book of LOVE.. short set with all hits.. not that's the way to do it.!!! Very nice evening..
