ERASURE IN CONCERT:
Nearly three decades after their debut, British synthpop duo Erasure continue to reign supreme on dance floors around the world. Combining the production skills of Vince Clark and the soaring vocals of Andy Bell, Erasure dominated European airwaves in the '80s and '90s with a massive string of hits that sound as fresh today as they did 25 years ago. Bell is a legendary live performer, maintaining an infectious energy and positivity as he lends his perfectly-preserved pipes to the love-drunk swoon of "Oh L'amour" and the uplifting message of "Chains of Love". The duo's unforgettable live shows never fail to spark impassioned dance parties among nostalgic fans, and their upcoming dates on the Violet Flame 2014 World Tour will be no different.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Erasure was formed in mid-'80s London by former Depeche Mode member Vince Clark and budding singer Andy Bell. Their 1985 debut album Wonderland failed to make much of an impact in Britain, but they hit the big time with their 1987 sophomore album The Circus, which remained on the UK Albums Chart for more than a year on the strength of hit singles "Sometimes" and "Victim of Love". The following year they achieved breakthrough success in America with the Top 20 hits "Chains of Love" and "A Little Respect", both from their third album The Innocents. That album was the first of five consecutive UK No. 1 records for the duo, a streak that culminated with 1994's I Say I Say I Say. With their 16th studio album The Violet Flame hitting shelves in 2014, Erasure will treat fans to a series of electrifying shows in support of the release.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Andy Bell is one hell of a performer and had a lot of energy to bring their songs to life...I remember looking around and seeing my fellow concertgoers smiling from ear-to-ear and having an amazing sing-along experience. Definitely money well spent."
"Andy and Vince were awesome. The new songs are great and it was a blast hearing the old songs once again."
"Simply amazing! Erasure kept the crowd happy and dancing throughout the whole show."

I really enjoyed their performance, they still sound amazing!
Love this duo (since the 80's)! They still bring the house down after all of these years!
Awesome venue and Andy Bell still sounds amazing as he’s always been! Will go and see them again!!!
Saw them 27 years ago and erasure still puts on a great show.
This was my first time at Fillmore and has been almost 30 years since I last saw Erasure and both delivered! This was an amazing show in a small venue which really made it feel special.
Great show. They still have all the elements. Vocals, flare, and awareness of fan base. Loved it.
They put on an amazing show! The stage set up was cool! The only downfall was while the Tabernacle was a neat venue, the middle balcony seats were WAY up flights of stairs and it was hot. But Erasure was way worth it! It was so good to see them this go around!!
They were awesome and sound great! Opening act was terrible!
So many people knew every words. Dedicated audience couldn't get enough. the night ended too soon. Unfortunately, the Tabernacle continues it decline.
Great songs all night long. Even the new stuff sounded good, although after listening to the CD, we were not looking forward to it. They mixed the songs up nicely.
Erasure never disappoints, and this show was no exception. I'd never been to the Tabernacle. Super intimate venue, folding chairs were a surprise, but not a problem. ERASURE sounds amazing and their music is happy, fun and timeless. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world.
Andy Bell and the group were absolutely fabulous and entertaining. One of the best concerts I’ve been to.
Fun night, great company! Erasure still sounds good
Great show, fun crowd. Standout songs were the classics like "Chains of Love", but I'm always interested in hearing the new material, as I assume most will never be heard from again. "Sweet Summer Loving" is a great song and I hope stays on the setlist for a while. The stage was awesome, looking like something out of Tron. The venue is one of my favorite in the city, although they did give me a little problem with using my digital camera. Not sure why it's an issue when it's not (1) a professional camera and (2) everyone has a digital camera on their phones now. The opening act was interesting, as all of their songs were related to science. The visuals made it memorable, but they played a bit too long.
The show was awesome! However, the DJ in the Lobby after the show really capped off the night! What a great idea and everyone loved it! I've never heard so many people sing the '80s songs the DJ was playing! Had a great time. Thanks!
Love Erasure ! But this time it was special ! Place and organization ! The event really rocked !
10’s across the board. Andy Bell has never sounded better. Val and Emma were amazing as always and Vince Clarke remains the undisputed king of synth
Hands down one of the best shows I have ever been to!! We had a blast
One of my most favorite life events to date. Will get tickets to see them when ever they are performing in Florida again. If you want to hear a vocalist that has the range and clarity that you hear from the CD...Andy Bell is spectacular.
Erasure was great- old plus new stuff with just enough props/lights. Entertaining and fun!
