    Disappointed

by Mary on 10/18/23State Theatre - Minneapolis

This was advertised as a sing along with a live band. False advertising. It was NOT stated they would just play the entire movie with a few musicians in front of the big screen. The volume was excessively loud for everyone in the theater. We left at intermission and the staff member at the door said many, many people left before us. WAY overpriced. Very disappointing.

    Extremely disappointing

by Tammi on 10/17/23Hero Arena at the Mountain America Center - Idaho Falls

It was a very expensive movie. I expected more of Disney.

    Great Event For The Kids

    by Steven on 10/15/23

This was perfect. Took our 4 and 6 year old boys who loved seeing the movie, hearing the live music and watching all the cool lighting. By no means is this a $100/person show but that is not what I paid or would pay for a kid event anyways. The prior reviews must have thought this was something different when purchasing the tickets… buy the tickets, go with realistic expectations, and have fun! It’s for the kids!

Basically watched the movie for a high price

    by Mari on 10/13/23

I’m disappointed to say it’s not what I expected for what we paid. We basically watched the movie with a live band but no other form of engagement for the kids. The volume of the movie was so loud you really couldn’t tell the band was playing live. I’m sad that my sister and I spent our hard earned money here our kids would have had more fun just having a regular play date.

    Not what it was expected

by Beau on 10/13/23Hero Arena at the Mountain America Center - Idaho Falls

I was expecting the band to play and sing the songs from encanto and have the children dance and sing. I could have stay home watched encanto and my T.V with the subtitles. Yes the band played the song but it was like lip sinking. Overall it was very disappointed. I pay to much to see a movie with subtitles that I have seen many, many times.

$52 (each) to watch the movie?

by Jmb on 10/13/23Hero Arena at the Mountain America Center - Idaho Falls

No live characters. Just watching the movie with loud band music added into the musical parts. Save your money.

    Movie

by Ashley on 10/13/23Hero Arena at the Mountain America Center - Idaho Falls

I wasn’t impressed with this production. I could have experienced this in my own home and saved the money. We sat in folding chairs and watched the Sing-A-Long Movie that is available on Disney+. I was expecting more with a live band involved. Definitely not worth the money!

Encanto Live sing a long concert

by MG on 10/8/23Old National Events Plaza - Evansville

My grandson loves watching Encanto on Disney. However this live event wasn’t good. I paid quite a bit for our seats to only have my grandson get bored. We ended up leaving half way through.

    Omg no way

    by A. r. on 10/8/23

No no no. Super boring and pricey . Nothing exciting, my son wanted to leave and he is a big encanto fan and it wasnt anything exciting. We had to leave after a parent yelled " its a sing a long, not a movie theater ".

    Encanto sing along.

by Grandma on 10/2/23Old National Events Plaza - Evansville

Definitely NOT worth the $300! Thought maybe there would be some merch to buy for my grandson. That too was terrible! Musicians didn’t add anything. They just played over the sound they was already in the movie. Worse money I ever spent!

    Didn't keep my child attention.

by Re on 10/2/23Old National Events Plaza - Evansville

Nit worth the money. To much going on. Babies crying little ones not interested in what's going on. My child 6 was ready to leave so half way through we did. She loves Encanto in fact her bedroom is decorated on that.

Kids had fun. That was about it

by Whatever on 9/28/23DeVos Performance Hall - Grand Rapids

Kids had fun...really disappointed $300 for tickets. It's literally just the song along movie with a band playing. No real singers or anything. Some cool lights...could literally watch the song along version on Disney plus with the column up real loud and some surround sound and virtually have the exact same experience.

    It was alright

by Kayjay98 on 9/24/23Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Basically watched Encanto with subtitles. There was a band, that played the music, they were good. I expected more, something different.

    Very disappointed.

by Sue on 9/23/23Old National Centre - Indianapolis

It was just a person and a few band members. The movies was shown that my granddaughter has seen many times. Didn’t hold the audience attention. Very expensive for what it was

    Nice concept

by Chelle on 9/23/23Old National Centre - Indianapolis

I expected more singing and crowd involvement. I personally feel like we paid to watch the movie instead of paying for an experience. I would have liked if there was a backdrop for photo opportunities for the family and a better snack selection for this to be a family event focused on children.

    Very disappointed

    by Jenna C on 9/20/23

Came to a singalong thinking it would include the characters but all it was, was an overpriced movie with a band sitting quietly during most of the movie. Not interactive at all. What a waste of money and time! Left with disappointed children!

    Appalling waste of money

    by A. R. on 9/20/23

Paid over $200 to watch a movie weve seen 100 times, but now have the special treat of some live in person drummers. Disney should be embarrassed.

    Waste of money, disappointed

by BBDavis on 4/5/23Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - Chicago, IL - Tinley Park

I went in thinking this experience would be similar to disney on ice, but we'd have the characters dancing on stage along to the music. I took my six years old son, dressed up, the rain didn't even bother us. What was disappointing was that there was no info when buying the tickets that this would just be a sing along version of the movie on a big screen with a live band playing. I wasted money on concert priced tickets for what I could've taken my son to a free movie in the park. Same exact thing minus the band.

    Definitely was an unsatisfactory experience

by K. W. on 9/8/22iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm Beach

We could have stayed home and watched the movie as a sing-a-long if we knew it was going to be like this. The whole thing was underwhelming
