Loved reliving all the emo music! They put on a great show and looking forward to going back!
Venue was average $20 truly sans $19 margaritas. Super expensive, venue is average size, show could be longer. Starter later- end later. The show should me 21+ though.
Had a blast with all the classic songs you’d expect. Definitely going again in the future!
It was a great way to hangout and see friends I hadn't in a while. I am really looking forward to attend another one.
It was like a prom none of us had, music we loved, people were allowed to be themselves, such a good time.
Overall it was a fun event. However the location (The Parish) as to where they held it was a bit small. It would be better if they held it in the main room to allow more space, attendance, sound & visual quality. The sound from the speakers were fluctuating from loud to quiet & clear to distorted. I would come back again but please hold in the main room downstairs next to the parish. If you’re a fan of Emo Music, this is one event you NEED to attend!
Great experience. Just notified that tour is coming threw again in May so plan will definitely be returning for the experience.
It’s great to see so many people all together that love the same music. Belting out classics from our youth with so much energy was really amazing.
The DJ was not the guy who usually hosts emo night. While the early November was cool, he played an acoustic set that didn’t fit the mood. Th DJ played a lot of the same artists for long periods of time. And the DJ had an option to make song requests, but never once looked at them.
They had Ace Enders do an acoustic set, which was terrific. However, I feel bad that Ace had to bring himself to this Emo Night Brooklyn level. Maybe I don’t know what Emo is, but If you’re going to play non stop linkin park, papa roach and the killers don’t call yourself Emo night
Terrible playlist. Barely any concept or build up or hype. The DJ told the crowd about 100 times that he came all the way from Brooklyn NY to party with us. Philadelphia to Brooklyn is a 2 hour drive. It’s not an accomplishment or something to be bragging about. The DJ also was a terrible stage presence. His attempt to engage the crowd and get any sort of reaction was lack luster. He wanted the crowd to engage him, but they were so bored because of the terrible playlist that he was engaging an empty shell. I wish I didn’t spend $20 on a ticket and drive 2 hours round trip for this. I won’t go to an ENBK ever again. The only thing that made it worth it is that it was one of my best friends birthday on this night and her having fun was all that mattered.
It was such a good night! The DJ that night was amazing! And all of the best songs from my younger years. Already considering going again when it’s back in a month!
Well to start, my friends and I got there at 11 PM & when we got up to the venue we walked into One Direction playing. We sat around for close to 45 minutes listening to Dolly Parton, Cher, and more with no announcements until the event finally started. DJ was good but there were a lot of song repeats and interruptions during the music.
The event was well organized, atmosphere was fun and exciting and drinks were decently priced. This was my first time attending and I cannot WAIT for Emo Night Brooklyn to return to Detroit so that my friends and I can go back!
Announced as a 10:30PM start but did not start till 11:30PM. Wish it started earlier so we could hear more jams before having to go home for bed.
So I’ve never really been into this music genre or been to an emo night type event before, but I had a absolute blast here. Great energy both on stage & in the crowd. Only complaint was that the drinks at the bar were a lil pricey but that’s kinda to be expected. But as far as the Emo Night show went, it was super fun
Had a blast jamming to all our old favorite songs. Would 100% do again!
I haven't had this much fun at a show in years! Highly recommend
I went to ENB for the first time the week before in Chicago, IL and had an absolute blast. This week, not so much. The guest DJ (he said his name 50 times but I never caught it) was obnoxious and annoying. He wouldn't shut up. Also his playlist selection was pretty weak. The playlist selection was pretty weak the whole night actually, very disappointing.
Place was dead, trying so hard to be like Emo Nite in Echo Park it’s ridiculous. Only good part was seeing Buddy Nelson. Looked like he didn’t want to be there either. It’s like you’re at a party, and it’s trying to be just like the party next door, but only it’s not and everyone knows it.
