  • Another Great Eileen Ivers Show!

by MusicLoverInTheHudsonValley on 1/4/22Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - BethelRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to a number of Eileen Ivers shows around New York and as always it was very nice. A great show again hosted at Bethel Woods. Small venue so sound and visual were great.

  • Must see!

    by D. N. on 2/11/19Hoyt Sherman Place - Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5

So talented, smart and humble! You will be clapping and toe tapping all night! Loved her since Riverdance NYC and she’s only become more awesome. It makes me want to drink Guinness and eat some coddle! Worth every penny 5 times over! I am so blessed to have witnessed a talent of a generation. The band is a wonderful collection of musicians and I look forward to following their careers. So amazingly gifted and a once in a lifetime experience (although I plan on returning again and again). So many times I just caught myself thinking, “Wow!”

  • Can I give 10 stars?!?

by Kritsch on 2/11/19Hoyt Sherman Place - Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5

This is the best show that I have seen in a very long time! There were various moments throughout the concert where I was brought to tears! Eileen and her band were absolutely INCREDIBLE! I have already signed up for their "Spacebook" (as Eileen's mother calls it) page to see when they will be near us again. The power of music is so unbelievable and that woman can play the fiddle!!! It makes me sad to think that some schools are giving up their music and arts programs to make room for more technological classes. Music speaks to everyone and this concert was a perfect example of how important music is! My husband is Irish/Scottish, we're in our 30's, and had no idea what to expect from this festival but it was such a treat! We will definitely be back!!!

  • Fantastic

by Monk on 2/11/19Hoyt Sherman Place - Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts I've ever attended. The musicianship was off the charts and the sound quality was clear and balanced. I also appreciated the variety of musical styles which ranged from tradition Celtic music to Bluegrass, Roots, Americana, and Cajun.

What an amazing talent . Her “Joyful Christmas” concert was simply magical and uplifting . The band clearly enjoys what they do . Great venue too!

  • Christmas Enjoyment

by Ladyluna11 on 12/18/17Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - BethelRating: 5 out of 5

We saw her once years ago at an outdoor performance and she is better than ever. The sounds she gets out of that fiddle are amazing. Hope she comes back soon.

  • Eileen Ivers - SPECTACULAR

by APPLE58 on 12/18/17Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - BethelRating: 4 out of 5

Eileen Ivers and her band, Universal Roots, were absolutely OUTSTANDING; five extraordinarily talented musicians in a beautiful venue, complete with a fresh snowfall - "Joy of Christmas" indeed! I would see her again and again and again.

  • Eilleen Ivers & Universal Roots are amazing

by jseiur on 12/18/17Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - BethelRating: 5 out of 5

All the musicians are so talented on multi instruments. With the variety of tunes and their high energy, one's feet has to start tapping and hands clapping. Eileen takes time after the performances with everyone that wants to say hello. .

  • Big Letdown at Celtic Rock Festival

by HenMo on 9/13/16The ALEX AND ANI City Center - ProvidenceRating: 2 out of 5

    1. Parking was almost impossible unless one payed.....there were no free parking opportunities to be had. Providence is not user friendly; would NEVER attend anything at that venue again. 2. 2 food trucks.....are you serious ? Sure you could leave the venue, but in doing so, miss the concert. 3. This "same" concert series in Newport had vendors selling Celtic clothing, jewelry, etc., other than one vendor selling c.d.'s, there were no vendors there. 4. After an hour or so into the concert, a Ryder truck pulled into the venue with " guess what ?"........ CHAIRS. 5. All in all, a big disappointment. "Crowd" was only about 300 or so; very poorly attended; I guess interest in Celtic music is waning ?
