Great fun, great show!

Eaglemania was, to me, a surprising load of good fun. I got the tickets for my wife's birthday; she's been much more of an Eagles fan than me, 'tho I had been a James Gang/Joe Walsh fan since the early 70's. Still, I'd find myself with an Eagles earworm occasionally after hearing one of their songs...
The band was full of energy, especially the lead singer and rhythm guitarist. All were good instrumentalists, 'tho the lead singer did only the occasional percussion. The lead guitarist was "quiet" but he knew his way around the guitar. He threw in a number of Joe Walsh/James Gang riffs during his one extended solo and he and the drummer slid in some Moby Dick during the drummer's break. Their more impressive Eagles songs, to me, were Already Gone, Hotel California, One of These Nights, Life in the Fast Lane, Peaceful Easy Feeling, Witchy Woman, and Take it Easy. They also shined on Don Henley's Boys of Summer and rocked Joe Walsh's/James Gang's Funk 49, Walk Away, and Rocky Mountain Way. They played a lot more Eagles songs, but you can get the full set list elsewhere.
Overall, a great show, lots of singing along, lots of fun for the majority Boomer audience.
