Loved the production and so did the grandson. 3 boos to the people who always come late, turn their phones on to find their seats and then decide to get up again to get a drink. If a show starts at 11 arrive NLT than 1045 so we can all enjoy the entire show.
The show was amazing. Funny, entertaining, and beautiful. I grew up watching the original How The Grinch Stole Christmas every year since I can remember. This show held true to what we all loved about the original while also adding a new prospective to it. The best part was hearing the laughter and joy from all of the children in the audience. It brought back some of that childhood magic to Christmas that you lose when you become a grownup. This was my first theater experience and I will definitely be back for more.
A few laughs, and traditionally cute but kind of bland. Songs and choreography were lacking outside the hit Mr grinch song. Wish it had more flavor. Overall okay, but wouldn’t go again.
Took our grandson and it was wonderful ❤️ performance was amazing ❤️
We enjoyed the performance but there was an issue we had. There was an infant sitting next to us that would not stop crying and fussing. Made it difficult to hear and enjoy the whole performance. The parent waited until almost the end of the show to get up and walk out to lobby.
What a great way to start the holiday season. The show was fast moving and on point.

I took my 10yrnold granddaughter and she loved it never been to a musical but the best part she was in all with the majestic theater. The orchestra was amazing and now she is thinking of trying to do the orchestra way. Loved it best day ever.

Loved the musical! The dog telling the story was so cute. Loved the mini sing along. The actor who played the Grinch was great.
Grinch was great…very entertaining. Cindy Lou is very talented.
The production was A+ and conjured up all the old feels from when I was a kid. The narrator/old dog was spot on and Grinch was charismatic.
This show was awesome. It was the first time at a theater for my child, and it could not have been a more perfect first show. The man who played the grinch (sorry, i dont know your name) was so entertaining and enjoyable. It got me to break a few big laughs. I would definitely see this again if given a chance!
I paid $600 for our tickets and I missed the first 20 minutes of the show because the ushers were continually walking in late patrons. I couldn’t see or hear the show. That was not fair to those of us who arrived on time and were seated. Then about 40 minutes after the show started the lady and child who had seats in the center of our row strolled in, we all had to stand and wait and missed more of the show. I won’t be attending another show at the Orpheum. I think I should get a partial refund. Very disappointed.
Let’s start from the outside. If you expect ppl to line up and not let them in early, please have a safe way for the line to form. The line formed in the street, of downtown Memphis. Not safe. Great theater. Old, but clean and very nice. The seating attendants need to be more knowledgeable of the seat numbers and order. They were using their cell phones to find letters in between their texting. Also, ppl were allowed in late, talking loudly, and arguing with the attendants. Very distracting and annoying. The sound in the theater was poor at best. It was hard to hear the actors speaking and made it very tough when late ppl were coming in and distracting. The actors were incredible, very talented and a great show. Might have needed an intermission being ninety minutes and so many children in the audience.
I received tickets for How The Grinch Stole Christmas for Christmas. My grandson and I loved it. It was a great performance. Looking forward to our next show.....
We loved The Grinch Musical. It was a great combination of the old animated and Jim Carey movies. There were a lot of kids in the audience and at times the sound on the dialogue could have been louder. Not sure if that's a venue thing or production thing. Definitely a must see!!
The play was amazing! The costumes and set were classic Dr. Suess and so creative! The music was very good! It was a fun play and got everyone in the Christmas spirit. Great for kids!
