About

DR SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL is the record-setting Broadway sensation which features the hit songs "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas" from the original animated television special. Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is "two sizes too small," decides to steal Christmas away from the Holiday loving Whos. Magnificent sets and costumes inspired by Dr. Seuss' original illustrations help transport audiences to the whimsical world of Whoville, as this sparkling production breathes new life into this timeless story of the true meaning of Christmas. Don't miss what The New York Times calls "AN EXTRAORDINARY PERFORMANCE! 100 times better than any bedtime story."

  • Celebrating our 49th Anniversary

We Celebrated our 49th Anniversary at the Grinch. And what an amazing time we had. You had audience participation, fun, laughter. You made us feel like kids again. I will see The Grinch again in the future. Thank you all for this heartfelt performance you worked on so diligently.

  • I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it.

The costumes, scenery, acting and singing were all excellent. The best part for most was when they sang songs from the original Grinch TV show. The kids in the audience did tend to lose attention during the songs that were not familiar to everyone and were unique to this particular musical. The musical did capture the true spirit of the Dr. Seuss story and the children seemed to enjoy it all dressed up in their Grinch finery. Well done!!

I was very impressed with the production quality of this performance. Of course, the show was fun, however it played to an adult audience as well as younger attendees.

Fabulous performance! Actors/actresses were spectacular in the perspective roles. Truly brought the kid out in me. I was on the edge of my seat numerous times throughout the play. What a great start to the holiday season!

  • Saw it once but wouldn’t see it a second time

by Just okay… on 11/26/25Chapman Music Hall - TPAC - TulsaRating: 3 out of 5

We took our three kids to see The Grinch play and I think our two daughters loved it! (Ages 3 & 7) Our son enjoyed it for the most part but was glad when it was over as he doesn’t like musicals as much as we do. I felt like the costumes and props were cute but The Grinch costume could be better and there were at least 4 occasions where I was confused if I was at a Kiss concert or the PAC Grinch Performance. The Grinch would do something funny or say something funny and then turn and look at the audience with his mouth open and tongue out. It was odd… I think it was so odd because the face was all black and green and then you had the big pink mouth and tongue and it was just out of character for The Grinch in my mind. SO! Kids enjoyed it, parents thought it was just “okay” & we wouldn’t see it again.
