This show was everything I was hoping for and more. JBP delivered an amazing talk
I expected a book tour and him covering the 12 more rules. I took my 19 year old daughter and 26 year old girlfriend, both know nothing about JP. We all felt it was random topics, tangents with no summation or culminating point. I wouldn’t go again. I enjoy his older stuff, lectures. He used to be a curious seeker and now he drives his ideas. I also get tired of the sarcasm.
Jordan Peterson is a world class speaker and author and I thoroughly enjoyed his lecture. Everything from the eclectic crowd, Mikhailas intro, the world class lecture, and the Q&A were fantastic. I wish I could say the same about the venues Covid policy. Requiring proof of negative Covid test or vaccination is not warranted. It falsely treats the unvaccinated as a separate class of people that should protected against while ignoring that the vaccinated can still become infected spread Covid. It also doesn’t make space for natural immunity, which studies have shown is more effective times more effective at preventing Covid spread than vaccination. It’s time to end these policies. Covid is an endemic virus, along with the 4 other endemic corona viruses that circulate among humans. If folks are concerned with contracting Covid from a large crowd, they can get vaccinated, wear an N95 or other mask mask, rely on natural immunity or some combination of the 3. Thanks - Josh Prasatik
livenation required vaccine cards or a $40 covid rapid test at the door. My wife and I would have had to spend $80 just to get in so we left. Livenation wouldn't issue a refund - garbage!
The venue, the content, the ambiance, the audience, everything was amazing. Thank you Jordan Peterson for dedicating yourself to uncovering the truth of the world and sharing it with us to empower us so that we may improve our lives.
This man changed my life. Greatest person on earth at the moment. If you have a chance to listen to this guy, go. I promise you won’t regret it.
On Feb 9th at Irving Texas, I got to meet the man who gives me joy and hope for the future of mankind. I went to the meet and greet and gave him the blessing that I wanted to give him for three years. I decided then and there that this would not be my last event so I am going again in May for the Tulsa Oklahoma event. I hope that this will become this generation's "Grateful Live" and we follow his tour like they used to follow the grateful dead. It only takes one to start a trend.
Honest, real and human... besides dispensing wisdom, the honesty and naturalness of the interaction with his daughter onstage was inspiring because of the authenticity, despite the crowd. He is as he appears in the countless videos on youtube. It has been said before but a refreshing and inspirational view of what humanity can be.
Incredible speaker put on an incredible show, venue was perfect
Even from the cheap seats his lecture/talk was well received.
If you're a fan of JBP's podcasts or lecture series it's well worth the time, and money. He touches on many themes he covers in interviews, and follows tangential thought streams. The Q&A was awesome. I paid for the VIP to get good seats and wish I paid the extra to do the meet and greet.
Very disappointed that this “Beyond Order” lecture wasn’t on anything new or anything focused on his newest book. Nearly everything talked about is available on his podcasts. The material was great, mind you, but nothing new. The comfort of the seats were poor. Overall it was a disappointment to pay $200 and not hear a discussion on current events, his hiatus, or anything from the new book.
Going in to the event, I already held Dr Peterson in high regard having read his last two books. I wasn't sure what to expect from the lecture, however. I didn't want to set my expectations too high, but what I experienced blew all expectations out of the water. This man is perhaps the greatest public speaker alive today. If he comes to your city, don't miss the opportunity to hear him live.
Great event, but was disappointed at allowing people to arrive at any time (Plus come and go for drinks) and interupt our focusing on his words. Was absolutely a disappointment for an otherwise great speaker. Worry less about Covid vaccine cards which they barely glanced at and more on the experience during a speaking event.
It’s always a pleasure to be able to hear Dr. Peterson’s insight. I got a lot from what he had to say. I only wish it could have been longer.
I had higher expectations from the event. Felt somewhat chaotic and jokes were inappropriate in my opinion.
With a heavily contemplated answer for just about everything, the weight of Dr. Peter son’s knowledge is self-evident in his talks. He got through so much material on thought and writing and speech, I’m still thinking on it and digesting it three days later. The Q&A at the end was quite interesting and surprisingly entertaining to watch- as he thought on his feet and provided answers on questions ranging from his likeness of Kermit to coming across synchronicities in collectives of friends. It was stunning to be in the presence of a man whose intelligence is so powerful, and who uses that intelligence to truly philosophize. His talk did not get political, for all those wondering, which I thought was great. All in all, this talk was fantastic, and I’d recommend everyone who has the opportunity to see him, go do so.
Incredibly impactful experience, I’m glad I was able to go.
Dr. Peterson is an extremely intelligent and sincere human. He is transparent about his own humanity as he compassionately but unflinchingly explores the humanity in all of us. It's not a pretty picture but he makes it all sound so hopeful despite the ugly truth of some of it. I am very inspired by this man.
