  • An honor to listen in person

by Nicholas on 3/24/25Pensacola Bay Center - PensacolaRating: 4 out of 5

While the overarching premise of the lecture could be surmised by having already watched several of his online videos, to listen to it in person is something I believe would be beneficial for many people. Understanding and seeing how Dr. Peterson still wrestles with the ideas in his head as he is talking should help others understand their own insecurities when dealing with hard topics. It is not necessarily the destination of your thought that matters, but the way in which you approach the journey to reach your own conclusions.

  • I drove 4 hours, and couldn't have been happier

by Mary Moon on 3/23/25Pensacola Bay Center - PensacolaRating: 5 out of 5

I drove 4 hours to get to Pensacola to see Jordan B Peterson. It was SOOOO worth it. I am a big fan and didn't know what to expect (I didn't look at other people's opinions/reviews or anything.) It was worth EVERY penny. It was engaging and interesting. And maybe because I listen to him a lot anyway, I can't say I learned a bunch of new info, but still was very enjoyable. My husband is not as big a listener of his stuff, but he also thought it was fantastic. If you're on the fence, just do it, you won't be disappointed.

  • LOVED Dr. Peterson's lecture but the Bay Center needs work

by Blair on 3/22/25Pensacola Bay Center - PensacolaRating: 4 out of 5

I loved everything about getting to see Dr. Peterson! What an incredible opportunity to hear him lecture and ideate in real-life! My only complain is about the logistic and comfort of the Bay Center. This venue is quite terrible. The tiny uncomfortable seats (folding chairs) for the floor were all slammed together and you're all squished in like sardines..the parking is atrocious. I would have liked to see him at the Seanger or another local venue is better seating, but that is my only complaint. For the price point, seats should have been much more comfortable and accessible.

  • Great mind and talk but venue needs work

by Tim on 3/22/25Pensacola Bay Center - PensacolaRating: 4 out of 5

The presentation was not a surprise. It was stellar as I thought it would be. It was great to have his wife share prior to the talk. The only reason I give it a 4 star is becasue of the uncomfortable seating and it was very "tight". Why not put in a 6"space between the uncomfortable small metaluncomfortable folding chairs on the floor level? There was also the sound of people constantly stomping on loose floor boards on the edge of the floor seats. Jordan Peterson delivered a great talk.

  • Fantastic and enlightening

by Jason on 3/22/25Pensacola Bay Center - PensacolaRating: 5 out of 5

Dr. Peterson is one of the premiere intellectuals of our time and gave an interesting and profound talk on psychopathology. Gave me a lot to think about.

  • Very disappointed.

by Sleepydoc on 3/22/25Pensacola Bay Center - PensacolaRating: 2 out of 5

First he had an opening act who played the most awful music Then he spoke for a short period of time followed by a conversation that was so boring I walked out. Waste of money. Would not repeat.

  • Fantastic event

by Doré on 3/22/25Pensacola Bay Center - PensacolaRating: 5 out of 5

Very interesting and definitely what I expected from such a class act. Spoke about religion and different psychopaths

by Paul on 3/20/25VBC Mark C Smith Concert Hall - HuntsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

As expected, Dr. Peterson's presentation was thoughtful and filled with insights he has come to be known for. I would definitely see Dr. Peterson again if he came back to Huntsville, AL.

  • Great!

by Janet G on 3/20/25VBC Mark C Smith Concert Hall - HuntsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Great presentation! Dr. Peterson is an absolute wealth of information, particularly with regards to psychology and the Bible. You must pay close attention to what he says as his mind is just bubbling over. It may take a bit to get from point A to point B, but the ride is worth it!

  • A must for people in todays world.

by Fan on 3/15/25DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

First time show. Recently introduced to his lectures. Had no idea the the show was going to be what it was. Fantastic job on real life, and setting the stage for the key points. Having his wife open up and set the first stage was fantastic. Super passionate performance and also very down to earth not having to be a super intellectual to follow. The audience was very diverse which also impressed me. I feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity and recommend the experience to anyone hoping for positivity, spirituality, motivation and some humor in this life….✌️

  • A pleasant evening of reasoned discourse

by Elbee on 3/14/25DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

Engaging, thoughtful 90-minute presentation followed by Q&A of sorts. It was a lot to take in, no program and no recording allowed so had to pay close attention and take what notes one could in the dark. This was a gift to my spouse that we both enjoyed. Critical thinking and reasoned discourse are an almost lost art. An evening with Jordan Peterson was a pleasure.

  • Excellent talk, I feel reoriented

by Matt on 3/14/25DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

This is the first time I've ever been to something of a self-help / improve your life talk -- this was much more of a cognitive journey, experience, exercise than what I had imagined. I really appreciate how Dr. Peterson broke down thought and conscience itself. I don't want to give away the whole talk, because Dr. Peterson undoubtedly does it better than myself, but I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to attend one of these before he hangs it up. It was really not political if anyone is worried about that.

  • Amazing!

by fletchem on 3/14/25DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

The talk was absolutely mesmerizing. The words were lifechanging. Tremendous performance by a brilliant public speaker. Will make a lasting memory as a major life event!

  • I love ticketmaster!

by CodyL. on 3/14/25DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

I love going through ticketmaster for any event concerts, sports, etc. Very easy platform, lots of options and super easy to access tickets.

  • A bit disappointing

by AKS on 3/14/25Rating: 3 out of 5

The opening guitarist was phenomenal, but the lecture was disappointing. Jordan is witty but the lecture was unnecessarily convoluted. The concept was simple enough, but his way of explaining it included unnecessary length. The gist could’ve been clearly and engagingly shared in 15-20 minutes leaving more time for meaningful content. Also, the lecture did not align with the theme of An Evening to Transform Your Life. I hate to say it but I feel like the whole thing was just a marketing ploy to get cult followers and gullible people to buy his products. I enjoyed the experience of gathering with other intellectuals but felt the value promise highly under delivered.
