The first half of the show is sweet and beautiful. But the second half features some villains, including Ursula and Malificent (as witch and as a quite terrifying, fire-breathing dragon). Quite honestly, for the audience (children and mostly girls 8 years old and younger), the dragon especially was unnecessary and excessive. There were lots of little kids crying and begging to leave during that. The whole family enjoys the beautiful ice skating to favorite princess songs and seeing their beloved princesses and characters. The excess drama did not add but rather took away from our enjoyment.

    a fairytale come true!

by clstep on 5/3/11Cedar Park Center - Cedar Park

I along with my two daughter in laws, my sister, her granddaughter and my two granddaughter watched Disney on Ice-Princess wishes. My grand daughters age 3 and 4 were mesmerized. The music was great. The costumes were so beautiful and the skaters were very talented. It was a remarkable performance. Entertaining for us all.

Thoroughly enjoyed Princess Wishes - Disney on Ice

by AustinTX2 on 5/3/11Cedar Park Center - Cedar Park

We saw another Disney on Ice a couple years ago that was good, but I thought this was even better. I took my 4-year-old daughter and she loved it! There were just a few scary parts for the little kids but my daughter just covered her ears during those parts and she was fine.

    Disney Princess Wishes

by Ra8rgrl on 5/3/11Cedar Park Center - Cedar Park

I got tickets pre-sale for this event to suprise my daughter for her 9th birthday - I had complications with my current pregnancy so was not able to attend myself. I gave the tickets to a friend of hers and her mom which my daughter went with and had a blast. Right up front on the ice she really enjoyed herself and seeing all the characters. She had so much to talk about how much she liked EVERYTHING with the show and even commented on how one performer fell but kept on going as if nothing happened. She really thought that was cool that she didnt get embarased.LOL

I was really looking forward to this event, but ended up dissappointed. I would not recommend spending money on floor seats, we ended up moving to the top so we could see better but still did not find the show as entertaining as we had hoped. My 3 1/2 year old was ready to go before it was over.

    Expensive outing

by IseeMom on 5/3/11Cedar Park Center - Cedar Park

My daughter (5 yrs of age) really enjoyed the show. Most of the princesses are part of the show with the exception of Pocohantas and Tiana. If the pricess is not part of the show, I would recommend that Disney not sell the merchandise at the show - that didn't make sense to me. I also found that the cost for Disney themed snacks were exceptionally pricey - $10 for a tub of popcorn and $12 for a snocone in a Tinkerbell cup. Just bring your wallet and you will enjoy the show. I received a coupon for a free disposable camera, make sure you bring that, otherwise a camera will run you $14. You may want to save your money and rent a Disney movie instead.

A special treat for my kids!

by Anonymous on 5/3/11Cedar Park Center - Cedar Park

Great show and fun performances. Very professional and my kids enjoyed every minute of it. My only complaint is the shamelessly overpriced merchandise. $10 for a cup with sno-cone! $20 for a light-up spinner. I wish the items were reasonable instead of insulting. No complaints about the show at all - it was wonderful.

Disney on ice was a greart family day out!

by Kimbo9602 on 5/3/11Cedar Park Center - Cedar Park

My four old and two 14 year olds loved the show. Totally would recommend this to anyone. Loved the customs and way the show was put on. Very realistic.

    Great Fun!

by FionaVi on 5/3/11Garrett Coliseum - Montgomery

I'm a big disney fan! I begged my boyfriend to go with me to the show. We might have been the only people there without kids. As a grown woman in her late 20's, I did enjoy the show greatly. As for my boyfriend, he would probably prefer to go to a baseball game, but his comment was that he wasn't bored at the show, which I think speak to the fact that the show is quite enjoyable!

I wish it could have been a little bit longer! It was absolutely amazing!! My family will never forget it! We were in awe from start to finish and we were all sad when it was over. It was a great experience. We got everything out of it that we hoped to

Amazing show I thought it would be exciting for little princesses but I was wrong. I took a prince as well and he enjoyed it greatly and so did I.

    Great, but...

by stinabug on 5/3/11Cedar Park Center - Cedar Park

My 5 yr old daughter loved this show and she loved seeing her favorite princesses and ice skating at that, BUT I'm not sure how I feel about the overall theme of the show. "Princess Wishes" is great, but it seemed that all the "wishes" focused on the princesses finding their prince. I get that that's just how most of the disney stories are, but the fact that it was just laid out there like oh this is their dream in life and not just a happy ending wasn't really the message I want my kids to take home. The performances themselves were great. They kind of summarized several of the princess stories and tied them into a 2 hour show, so, understandably, there was a lot cut out. The biggest thing I was disappointed that was cut was the magic carpet from Aladdin. They also could have done a lot more with Beauty and the Beast.... and Cinderella... and The Little Mermaid... and Snow White... but, again, it was good for having to fit it all in to such little time. The fire blowing dragon from Sleeping Beauty was probably the most extravagant and my favorite part. Bottom line is that it's a great show, but the theme doesn't exactly send the perfect message and you may catch yourself disappointed they didn't include certain parts of the stories.

Everything was awesome EXCEPT fireworks and loud noises scare small children. Please take the fireworks out of your shows!

    My girls loved it

by Mom2mygirls on 5/3/11Cedar Park Center - Cedar Park

It was really great, my girls( 6&2) loved it! Disney sure knows how to put on a show. The downside... Come with a ton of cash. 18 bucks fir a picture with a plastic princess. 10 bucks for a souvenir cup with lemonade. Too expensive for the "stuff" but a great time.

    Disney on Ice was average

by SDEYRR on 5/3/11Cedar Park Center - Cedar Park

It was an okay show. However, it wasn't much different from last year's show when the theme was Cars. It would have been nice to see Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog. The center was uncomfortably cold--to the point that it was a distraction. I know it's an ice show, but it was not this bad last year. For the cost of the tickets (x3), plus the $10 parking, and outrageous cost of food/drinks/souvenirs, I would say that it wasn't worth it.

    Fun time!

by rg1890 on 5/3/11Cedar Park Center - Cedar Park

This show was enjoyed by the whole family. 4 year old, 2 year old, and parents. We've been to many of these types of shows and it always seems that the sound is turned up just a bit too much. My kids agree with this, so I know it's not just a parent thing. :-)

    Cute, but expensive

by disneyjenn on 5/3/11Cedar Park Center - Cedar Park

The show was good. Any girl into princess or disney stuff would like it, but the Cedar Park Center and all the Disney paraphernalia was so over priced that I would skip it next time. It's assinine that you have to pay for parking at a place that has absolutely no other way to get there.

    Princess Wishes was AWESOME

by lucybag on 5/3/11Cedar Park Center - Cedar Park

The entire event, special effects, costumes, and skating (in general) were all breath-taking!! This event was very well put together; my 3 yr old absolutely loved this show. All aspects ....from the parking lot experience, getting into the Center, finding our seats, and getting food ........was amazingly hassle-free and pleasurable. The Disney character costumes were beautiful and so breath-taking. I definitely would go again and again....
