It would of been nice for the princesses to be present for picture taking instead of a card board poster of a princess. My little girl was so disappointed.

    Disney on Ice

    by FatherOf3Girls on 9/27/10Germain Arena - Estero

I took my 3 daughters and Girlfriend to see the show on Saturday. It was a pleasant experience, but I felt it was a bit high priced for a show that lasted a grand total of 1 hour and 45 minutes, which includes an intermission of almost 15 minutes. It was a quick flash of each princess story, but left out some key elements, and even some key characters, such as the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. Belle looked a little alone on the ice without the large character next to her.

Although this was a good show, it could of been a bit more "upbeat" and movng. Slow at times.

    Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes

by Anonymous on 9/26/10Germain Arena - Estero

The show was good and had alot of great dance choreography and moves for each princess skit. THe only complaint that I had was that some princess shows like beauty and the beast had someone come out in the candle costume and dance and the kids loved it but there was no beast to the beauty and the beast. That was dissappointing. Also it would have been better if all the different princess skits had someone come out in a main character costume. I also was a little dissappointed in the preshow. They had all the gowns were were great and my daughter loved that and had cinderella out on the stage and waving but it would have been better if she was on the floor to touch the kids and take photos with the kids. It would have been better also if some of the other characters came out and met with the children and took pictures with them. They would have loved to seem them all up close and personal.

    disney on Ice

by Anonymous on 9/26/10Germain Arena - Estero

The performance was very engaging. The Kids really seemed to enjoy the entire program. However I believe the seating should be confined , or the performance should have a wider spectrum. We were seated in sections 102 5th row seats 1,2,3,4. Although we enjoyed the show, the visibility was limited. Most of the performance was directed at the front portion of the rink. So we watched the whole show from behind the action. It was only during a few portions of the show that we could see the characters and production clearly. The section ( when facing ice) to the left should really be the last section seated so children can actually see the characters clearly. The kids did mention that Mulan should have had mooshu ( spelling?) in the performance. They also missed the beast.

    Princess Wishes was spectacular

by Nanarep on 9/26/10Germain Arena - Estero

Wow - I've seen this show before and it never loses its sparkle. Costumes, lighting and back drops are all top-notch. The skating is fantastic - twists, turns and jumps as only professional skaters can do. All the little princesses in the audience were out of there seats for most of the show, but don't leave your little princes at home. There is something in this show for everyone.

    It's ok

by NaplesGirl on 9/26/10Germain Arena - Estero

It was really catered for kids. We went with my husband (we're 41 yrs old) and thought we will still enjoy it. But we ended up leaving right after the 2nd part started. Nothing amazing but ofcourse kids love it!!!! And I knew for a fact that it was for kids. The sound was a bit low on volume that I can't understand what they were saying. But, I will recommend it if you have kids.. they will definitely enjoy it!

    Impressive Show

by JoeinSWFL on 9/25/10Germain Arena - Estero

I absolutely hate ice shows, and haven't been to one in 30 years. I thought my grandaughter would enjoy it so I bit the bullet and took her. I was absolutely shocked that I really enjoyed the show. The show was a series short programs and each was related to a Disney princess. The skating was very good. The costumes and props were impressive. Everything about the show was first rate. My granddaughter and I had a great time. Looking forward to seeing the show the next time it comes back to our area.

    Overall great production

    by sk8rmommy on 9/25/10Germain Arena - Estero

In true Disney fashion, the production, costuming, and technical aspects of the show were top notch and worth the price of admission. The skating, however, left much to be desired. There were a couple of falls and the level of skating could be considered amateur, compared to many of the young skaters who frequent Germain arena freestyle ice. Knowing former Disney skaters, it appeared that the standards have dropped quite a bit. As the parent of 2 former competitve figure skaters, I have understandably high expectations when I see a skating show. For the novice patron and the many young children in the target audience, I am sure they were impressed by the show. However, there were many empty seats and the crowd response was lackluster on the whole. My seven year old daughter enjoyed the production and is looking forward to the next.

Disney on Ice - Was Spectacular!!!

by Dreamerssoul on 9/25/10Germain Arena - Estero

As a first time participant of Disney on Ice with my 4 year old daughter in toe - we were in awe and completely blown away by what an AMAZING show this was. I was in doubt as to whether or not I should dress my daughter up as a princess for the event....THIS IS A MUST DO to all newbies. My daughter loved that she was able to dress up for the night and I think she would have been bummed if she wasn't dressed up. I was suckered into buying one of the swirly-lighty-up-wand-thingys at $20 - not too bad and they come with a 2 year warrantee - that you Disney for that. The show was spectacular and I HIGHLY recommend going!
