  • Not the best this year…

by Eunice on 1/2/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 3 out of 5

My family and I enjoyed the show especially jasmine And Aladdin! But the show did not seem as bright and vibrant as other years, it also felt short and very rushed. The staff helping at the event was the worst! The people selling icees and popcorn during intermission wouldn’t leave the 1st level to attend us all in the balconies. The attendants selling things in the booths weren’t the nicest, everyone was rushed to leave and when asked if they could sell us a water the attendant said “no I don’t have any” and proceeded to block herself with a sign to show that she was closed for the night. Show ended about 9pm and by 9:20 every booth was closing. Even an older security said “say your goodbyes we want to go home too! Show is over so please leave” It wasn’t as inviting this year unfortunately it felt rushed and forced 💔

  • Great show.

This is our second time going to Disney on Ice and we all loved it! I feel that this act has a lot more talking than “Dream big”. Regardless, we all enjoyed it. If you’re attending the Long Beach convention center make sure to arrive an hour early. We got there 30 min prior to the show and there was a very long line. There is only one entrance. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

Let me start by saying this is an annual event my family and I attend. Tickets state event starts at 7pm. After arriving shortly after 7pm, we had to waiting in a wrapped line to enter the building. Upon entering and grabbing seats at 740pm and catching The Lion King scene, intermission begins. After intermission, there is no way the event was 90min long. We walked out of the event at 830pm. After paying for 5 tickets, there is no way this event could’ve / should’ve started at 7pm. Majority of the guest were outside in the line. Definitely a disappointment, my daughters were ecstatic to attend Disney on Ice. This will be our last year attending. If I could rate this 0 stars, I would.

  • Disappointed

by Trisha on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 1 out of 5

Disney should be ashamed of themselves. Just before show began I was third in line to order 3 hot dogs and 3 sodas. It took staff until intermission before completing the order. The 15 minutes of show that I saw was good but I would have loved to see the whole show as that is what I was expecting. Terrible experience and would not recommend to anyone.

  • Modern take of Disney

by NFG fan on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 5 out of 5

My son and daughter enjoyed the show. I like how the show incorporated movies for boys and girls. One recommendation, management should better prepare staff as far as checking people in and having enough food and snacks ready for purchase.

  • Becareful

by Jesse on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 1 out of 5

We were a group of 8 people and I order the tickets online they were all supposed to be next to each other, when we tried finding the seats 4 of them where nowhere to be found asked for help a jung lady tried helping us with no luck so she went to get help too, another lady came with the same answer not knowing where those other 4 seats where at. I asked to be seated at a other place they tried to sit us they brought some chairs but the show ended and we where only provided with only 7 seats insted of 8, so sad that paid full price for 8 seat tickets but my daughter(7 yr.)had to be standing all through the show. I heard a lot of people complaining that their seats where broken

  • Long Beach Disney on ice

by Loops on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 2 out of 5

We went on a weekday got to the place at 7 when the show started but the line to get in was ridiculous , nothing was organized, missed half the show because we waited 45min to get in. So if your planning on going I recommend going an hour ahead

  • Eh

by Dee carter on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 1 out of 5

Terrible sound. Couldn’t hear the songs or the show host. Canned beverages were offers not bottles which resulting in the kids knocking cans over and my bag being covered in soda. Upon intermission popcorn and other vendors only tailored to lower floor though it was obvious people in the 100s section wanted the same services provided to them. Absolutely ridiculous entry route. No direction. Lines all jumbled together. No cones or dividers. Just chaos. Show had to start late because so many people were still outside in the chaos trying to get in. I’ve experienced better entry at a lakers or chargers game. I will never attend a Disney on ice show again. I will never attend any show at this venue again

  • Venue was terrible

by CA on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 2 out of 5

Show was good, but the venue was terrible!! They only had one entrance and it took us 40 minutes to get inside - we missed almost half of the show. The venue was old and they did not have enough bathrooms for all of the kids that were there (especially outside when it was such a long line to get in)! I expect more from Disney (they should do their homework on the venues).

  • Disney on Ice at Long Beach Arena

by Tutu on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 2 out of 5

What a disappointment. Took the grandsons to their first live arena show and the sound was just HORRIBLE. You couldn’t understand a word that was said or sang. This show is prerecorded and the skaters lip sync to the tracks. The mix was so muddy, garbled and soft volume that it completely ruined the show.

  • Good show, terrible venue.

by L. A. on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 2 out of 5

The Long Beach convention center was terribly disorganized and dirty.

  • Missed the first 45min of the show

by Nicole on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 3 out of 5

The line to get into the venue was risiculously long and we missed the first 45 min of the event. Also, Toy Story played zero songs. That was the performance my family and i were looking forward too, and instead they did some skit. They had so four movies of songs to choose from and they didnt play anything.

  • Outdated theatre

by Talal on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 3 out of 5

The show was spectacular. The organization, the staff and the food and drinks were all nice. The only thing that ruined the experience was the theater. Broken seats, not up to the standard facilities and poor lighting. This a big no place to show an event like this.

  • Dissapointed

by Jay on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 2 out of 5

Been going for many years , onde I arrived the line was outrageous for there early show started at 7pm, did not get in till 730. Got drinks and food they took a break at 8pm and ended the show at 845pm very dissapointed …

  • Very nice show. 4th one we've seen.

by Bill on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Very nice show and still quite popular. Looked to be about 95 percent full on a thursday night. Ice skating was great. Will go back next Christmas.

  • Thoroughly enjoyed by the entire faimly

by A Cycle Kid on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Our group had an age range from 2 to 71, three generations. We all enjoyed the show, the coordination of activities and the crowd. Really nice evening. It held the two year old's attention for two hours. The skating skills and choreography were spot on. The mix allowed everyone to sit back and get involved in the show.

  • Wish I would have known

by JJ on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 4 out of 5

What I saw of the show was great but we missed the first 30 minutes because no where did I find that we should arrive at least an hour before the show. We arrived 30 minutes prior and had to wait in line for 30 minutes. Overall the show was a magical experience.

  • The venue was awful!!!

by Jenny on 1/1/23Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center - Long BeachRating: 1 out of 5

The show was good but my seats were broken and had to moved to worse area with my family. Where we were moved there was a huge metal bar so we had to scrunched brown in our seats to see. I never want to go the that old venue again!
