Passport to Adventure - good
by Abiga on 10/9/13Rabobank Arena - BakersfieldRating: 4 out of 5It was a good show. My granddaughter loves all the Disney on Ice shows. I get tickets every year, either at Rabobank Arena or Selland Arena. I think last year's Disney on Ice show was much better, in fact I think it was one of the best.

Show was good, souvenirs expensive but very cheap.
by 4kids1mom on 10/8/13Rabobank Arena - BakersfieldRating: 3 out of 5Show was entertaining, however the souvenirs we purchased for my kids were cheap and they were broken by the time we got home. Our kids were very disappointed.

The show is excellent, but the prices for food and drinks are way to expensive. Popcorn for $12-$15.

Wonderful show!
by No1GreatAuntie on 10/2/13Valley View Casino Center formerly San Diego Sports Arena - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5The performers were all top-notch! Not only were they very talented skaters, but very animated and talented performers as well. We sat very close to the ice and could see all their expressions -- the smiles and waves to the kids in the audience were abundant. My two young ones (ages 5 and 2) were mesmerized. Favorites were Ariel and Peter Pan et al. Wonderful show!
memories on ice
by cherylssister on 10/2/13Valley View Casino Center formerly San Diego Sports Arena - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5I enjoyed the show very much. The only sad part was that there was only one song from Mary Poppins and would have liked one or two more songs, especially since the costumes were elaborate. the down side was 2 little kids behind me screaming and kicking all through the performance.
Disney on Ice was Great but Could Use Some Updates
by BranKysMom on 10/2/13Valley View Casino Center formerly San Diego Sports Arena - San DiegoRating: 4 out of 5My daughter and I love all things Disney and Disney on Ice was no exception. The show was fun and the performers were great. OUr seats were close enough that you could see their faces and they were professionals - even with their expressions and lip-syncing. Nobody was just going through the motions. My only suggestions are that the show could use some updating. The movies they pulled from are classics but there are newer characters they could pull from. When Captain Hook came out in the second act my 2-year old assumed she would be seeing Jake. Which brings me to my second criticism. Using Peter Pan for the entire second act seemed too long. Many younger kids haven't seen the Peter Pan movie - although they are familiar with some of the characters - Tinkerbell, Peter, Captain Hook. My daughter quickly lost interest in the middle of the story. I think it could have been shortened and a second story could be told in order to keep little ones interest. I personally would have chosen the Little Mermaid to close the show as it seemed to be the biggest crowd pleaser and more fun and colorful. Overall we all enjoyed the show.

This was my first show here at the arena with that being said I was not informed of a 15.00 parking fee! This is a major let down BC of the fee. The show its self was fun the only complaint would be the break in the middle of the show was way too long especially for only an hour and half show. I see the reasons why they did that was to make more money with the people paying 12 for a small bag of popcorn.
Disney on ice was awesome!!!
by lahermosamorena on 10/2/13Valley View Casino Center formerly San Diego Sports Arena - San DiegoRating: 4 out of 5It's an awesome experience my 5 yr old loved the show !!
eh...
by Sakh on 10/2/13Valley View Casino Center formerly San Diego Sports Arena - San DiegoRating: 3 out of 5You know, for so many shows these guys perform you would expect the technical ice-skating bit to be more refined, though good overall, the slips and trips kind of make me cringe. The stories are watered down as expected from an adult perspective but my 3.5 daughter loved it though. I wish they had more Disney stories included personally. Ticket prices are ok, though the parking charge and ticketing fees that add up to more than a price of two second tier tickets is a total rip off. Also, $10 for a cup of shaved ice, give me a break, I would pay that much only if Walt Disney himself shaved that ice and server it to me, the faces of disappointed of little children of parents who can't afford it or that came without their parents and only had $5.00 on them made me a pretty mad.
