  • A New/Old Celebration

by IndyNana on 12/4/09Conseco Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Going to the "Disney on Ice" events each year was a tradition as my son grew up--our Christmas present to ourselves. Afterward, while people were fighting the traffic, we would walk next door from Market Square to enjoy the Ayres' display at the State Historical Museum. My son would ride the train and give his annual list to Santa in a quiet, private room where Mom could hear what he said. Last night, we continued our tradition by taking my five-year-old grandson . He was thrilled. All through the show he kept waiting for the "Toy Story" characters. When they came out in the finale, his evening was complete, and his dad enjoyed it as much as he did. We didn't get to go next door and see Santa, but our preschooler didn't think the evening could be any better. Thank you for chance to CELEBRATE a tradition!

  • Magical and Exciting just like Disney

    by TheQueenof3 on 12/4/09Conseco Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time in 10 years that I've gone. I took all 3 of my daughters - ages 4, 8, and 11. All three of them loved it for different reasons, but my 4 year old was completely and utterly enthralled. I enjoyed it also. The diversity of all the characters and movies were present, the costumes cool, and Mickey/Minnie were adorable. Will make this a yearly tradition. (The only negative has to do with the merchandising....snow cones for $12? programs for $15? twirly thingies for $22? It would have been nice to have a brief program to accompany the event without havign to pay for it. With 3 kids - can't afford to do snow cones!)

  • Disney on Ice - superb!

by HappyMum on 12/4/09Conseco Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Took our 3 yr old twins to this - it was awesome. Disney really knows how to put on a great show. There are two sections to the show and a short intermission between - perfect for potty break! Definitely a must see - wish they had more Toy Story instead of just one bit at the end though.

My girls were mesmirized by this show. Worth every penny. Merchandise was outragiously priced. I will go again. Great family fun.

  • A bit too scary for the young ones

    by Pippi112233 on 12/4/09Conseco Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

Overall, the show was really good, but we had our four year old daughter with us, and the halloween part was too scary. We assumed that a Disney Celebrate show would not be too scary for a four year old, but I guess we were wrong. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with little ones who are sensitive to scary things.

  • nice

The was excellent, felt there would be more after intermission, but it was an excellent show! My 4yr old boy wanted to see more of the bad guys, but he still enjoyed the show. Overall a great performance!

  • Let's Celebrate was what we did!

by nannyjanie on 12/4/09Conseco Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Show was very entertaining. Granddaughters were thriled. Only negative the souveniors were not affordable for the average family! How can they justify 20.00 for a light and 15.00 for cotton candy. They could have sold lots if the price had been where it should have been. There were not a lot of takers.

  • Disney on Ice was a celebration!!

by CecilMagee on 12/4/09Conseco Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

We all thoroughly enjoyed this presentation. It has been several years since we had gone to a Disney on Ice, but it was just as wonderful now as all we had seen before. We are all "Disney Folk". The downfall was that we were totally disappointed in the program we purchased. All that we have from previous events had pictues and details of the actual skatres. This one did not . Also it is a shame that more people are not financially able to enjoy these events. They are missing out on sooo much. Young and Old alike. I feel very lucky and fortunate to have been able to attend.

Show was great, could have been longer.Pricing at Disney concessions for treats and products were unbelievably way too expensive.

  • Disney on Ice was awesome

by KathleenLouise on 12/4/09Conseco Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Took my 3 year old grandaughter to Disney on Ice. Wasn't sure it could hold her interest the entire time but it did. She loved every second of it and danced to the music. Everything moved along so well and there was no lag in between skits. Awesome show for children and adults.

  • Disney on Ice was amazing!

  • Disney on Ice is all Disney

by gpgirl on 12/4/09Conseco Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Disney creates an amazing show that WOULD have been perfect if they left out the scary imagery of the Halloween number...the 4 year old I took was scared to death by the skeleton looking lead character and I saw children shrink back from the characters that stood on the corners of the rink staging near the audience. For a show that's designed for primary aged and younger children, I was frustrated with the attention on all the "evil" characters when there are so many fun Disney characters to include. And, being ever politically correct, there was no mention of Christmas or Hanukkah -- just "happy holidays." Please: Acknowledge the reason children are out of school on Dec 25 is CHRISTMAS!!! -- and that we celebrate Hanukkah with our Jewish friends. Just say it!!! Please!

  • Wonderful family event!

It was by far the most spectacular show for us! The show provided with so many Disney characters and the performances was outstanding! Disney On Ice has always been a must see for the families, but the Celebrations show truly was AMAZING!!! So glad we didn't miss this one!

Great Performace however we liked the show last year better. We did not care for the Halloween part of the show that was kind of scary to my little ones.

  • Enchanting

by jjoceanlady on 12/4/09Conseco Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I enjoyed it as much if not more than the 5 and 8 year old that were with me. I'm grandma age. The costumes were great. The themes fun. Length of the performance just right. Not too long to lose interest for the kids.

  • by Anonymous on 12/4/09Conseco Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Overall, it was a great show. There was a part at the beginning of the show that was about celebrating Halloween, which included most of the Disney villains, this part scared my daughter. I didn't particularly care for it either. Other than that, she really enjoyed it and wants to go back.
